Lucas turned and left the doctor’s office, he walked to Carol’s ward, for a moment he forgot everything he directly entered the word and without acknowledging others presence he walked to Carol’s bed.
Carol just woke up and she saw people around her, she felt happy that apart from her mother she had a big family, Alex, Alice, Daniel, Alexa, James all were there for her.
Concern for her was visible in their eyes, but she felt like something was missing but she doesn’t know what.
And before she could think further Lucas came almost running and hugged her tightly and after hugging for a few minutes he kissed her forehead.
He was smiling, seeing her puzzled face, at first Carol liked his possessive hug but the next moment his torture for three days flashed in her mind and all her happiness vanished away.
She turned her face and said coldly, “Don’t touch me”
Lucas almost forgot in his happiness that Carol will definitely hate him after she recovers.
He looked down and stepped back, to enlighten the heavy mood Daniel said, “Bro, doc was saying some young lady donated blood to sister-in-law, who she was?”
Lucas said, “I don’t know her name, but doctor said she will be here in some time, she want to meet Carol”
Carol was first shocked at the way Daniel called her sister-in-law, and second, the way Lucas’s lip left her name, and what surprised and shocked her was she liked it.
She never liked her name as much as she liked it right now.
Alexa walked to Carol kissed her forehead and said, “I missed my best friend so much”
Carol gave her a weak smile, and just at that time the door of the ward opened and Mili entered the ward, taking away Daniel’s breath.
Every time Daniel sees her he feels like she is getting beautiful day by day.
Mili entered the ward, she smiled at everyone apart from Daniel, because she never liked playboys and his first impression was not at all good.
She walked to Carol and said gently “how are you feeling now?”
By listening to Daniel’s and Lucas’s conversation Carol knew who Mili is, she smiled gently and replied, “I am all good because of you”
Mili said, “It’s not because of me, I saw how much your husband was anxious about your health, and not only me anyone human being will help after seeing so much love in your husband’s eyes”
Carol doesn’t know what she feels at this moment, but some part of her liked Lucas being addressed as her husband.
Everyone spent some time with Carol and after that everyone left, Lucas asked Carol’s mother also to leave and assured her that he will take care of Carol.
Mili was about to leave the hospital when someone called her from behind, “Miss Green”
She turned and saw Daniel running towards her.
He came and stood in front of her and said huffing, “Miss Green thank you so much for what you did for my sister-in-law”
Mili replied coldly, “Mr William whatever I did was out of humanity” saying that she again started walking out of the hospital.
Daniel followed her and said, “Would you please give me a chance to thank you by accepting a dinner invite with me?”
Mili stopped in her tracks turned to face Daniel and said, “Mr. William, you are trying on a wrong girl, I am not interested in you, and try to stay away from me”
Saying this she left the hospital without turning back.
Daniel was standing there dumbstruck, he was never rejected in his life, he was unable to believe that his charm didn’t work on Mili, on the girl for whom he fell.
And this attracted him more towards her, he smiled and said, “Sweety, you maybe not interested in me but you have successfully attracted my interested in you, and I get what I want”
“And you, I want you for all my life, no one can save you from me, sweetheart”
Mili reached her home and sat on the sofa, she covered her face with her palm and mumbled, “God, please help me, I can’t do such sin”
At that time her phone rang, it was from a private number, she received the call with trembling hands, the person on the other hand said, “Finally you entered in William family now just wait for the right time”
Mili said in a cracked voice, “Yes”
Another party said, “I have asked you to enter in William’s family from long, but you little piece of shit can’t even do a small task”
“Now I have done this much for you, now make sure you do not miss this opportunity and do what I have asked you to do”
Mili said, “Why did you choose me? I can’t do what you are asking me to do, it’s a sin”
Another party laughed and said, “Poor Mili you will do everything I want you to do, otherwise you know what you are gonna lose”
Mili shouted, “You are asking me to take an innocent life, how you can be so cruel, if you wanted to kill Carol’s child then why did you sent me there to save them”
Another party scoffed and said, “Because I want to give them pain of losing the child and it will be more painful when the child is born and gone after coming in their life”
“And one more thing this is the last time you raised your voice, if you ever did that again you know what I can do” saying this the mysterious person hung up the call.
Mili flopped on the sofa and cried her heart out. She is not a mean person to harm anyone but it’s about the person whom she loves the most, she can’t afford to lose that person and she will do everything in her power to save that person.
