Everything happened so fast that before anyone could understand or do anything Carol and Catherine both fell on the ground and both started bleeding
Lucas immediately held Carol in his arms and started running towards his car without bothering about Catherine, he heard Carol’s faint voice, “Lucas please save my Baby”
Lucas was stunned listening to her, how come Carol said that but before he could ask her she was already unconscious.
Lucas drove the car at maximum speed towards the hospital as the hospital was his only, so Carol was directly admitted to emergency.
After some time he saw his butler brought Catherine also, she was also breading badly, she was crying but the moment she saw Lucas standing outside the emergency room and cried out, “Lucas she tried to kill our baby”

Lucas felt so pathetic at this moment, he never thought that Catherine could be this type of vicious woman; he was regretting loving her in the past.

Lucas continued, “I knew this when Carol was in hospital, but I kept Catherine in my home because I wanted to know why she came back and who is supporting her”
“Today when I was ready and was about to leave home to come for the inauguration at that time I got call from my detective and he told me everything”
“She is here to know the bidding rate of my company for the upcoming biggest project”
Alex interrupted, “Are you talking about the government project we are about to bid?”
Lucas nodded, “Yes, Dad and she is working for our biggest competitors Simons and the baby is also of Alen Simon”
“But when Catherine was pregnant he said he will marry her only if she helps him to get the bid price of that project”
Alice asked, “Alen is the same guy from your college, right, who was in Catherine but Catherine chose you?”
Lucas nodded positively.
Just that time doctor came out of the emergency room, Lucas ran and asked, “How is my wife and my baby”
The doctor smiled and said, “She and babies are fine, thanks to the young lady”
All felt relaxed, but no one noticed that the doctor said babies, not the baby.
In some time Carol was shifted to the VVIP ward.
Her mother also came in some time; everyone entered Carol’s ward except Lucas because he had a strong feeling that Carol was fine because her words before fainting were ringing in his mind.
And he is sure she will not accept him after what he did with her.
Instead of entering her ward, he went to the doctor’s office and told the doctor everything that happened before.
The doctor said, “Mr. William it is possible, because of one shock she was in that state of mind and maybe because of the another shock or fear of losing babies she is fine”
Lucas was about to open his mouth to speak but something clicked in his mind, and he said “Doctor, did you say babies?”
The doctor smiled and said, “Yes, Mr. William, I said earlier also, babies are fine”
“You…. You mean my Carol is carrying twins?” Lucas’s happiness was visible in his eyes.
The doctor smiled and said, “Yes Mr. William your wife is carrying twins”
