Emerson had dove into the cold sea water in the morning to find again and again at the bottom of the sea, and finally found Candice after a dozen times and dragged her out of the surface.
Candice had stopped breathing, but Emerson had performed resuscitation on her for half an hour, only then some seawater spewed from her nose, and there was a faint heartbeat.

On the huge bed in the castle, there was a statute looking exactly like Candice. Every year on the day Candice left, he would come here to stay for a while. Here, it was the heaven on earth for the two of them.
Candice went to see the state, and her heart was shocked again. She had always knew what Emerson felt about her, but she had not knew that it was so deep.
What shocked Candice more was that she had slept in the castle for one month!
Emerson had not contacted anyone to let Candice sleep well, and he had accompanied the woman he loved secluded from the rest of the world. This was shocking to Candice, and made her feel ashamed. Emerson was no normal person, in L City there was the company that he had spent 15 years working on, and had his pride and joy, how could he just lay low here and just accompany herself?
Although the castle was beautiful, like the European royal gardens during the middle ages. There were countless flora around them, and in the distance there was the sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks. Although at here, Candice could stop caring about the looks of others, the identity that she could not pass through, and live happily together with Emerson, she could not keep Emerson here selfishly.
“Emerson, you don’t belong here, your world is not here.”
Emerson lowered his head and kissed Candice on the forehead, “You’re the only thing in my world, wherever you are will be my world.”
Candice told Emerson, “There’s nothing else that Lily could use to threaten you and Robert, so go back to L City, do whatever you want to do, you don’t have to be control or be forced to marry Lily again.”
Emerson frowned, “How did you know about that? Was your suddenly leaving and your voluntary walking into the ocean threatened by Lily?”
Candice shook her head, “She had not threatened me, I did this exchange willingly with her. Emerson, I have not many days left, to exchange those with Lily, it was worth it.”
Emerson took Candice into his arms, and tightened his hug, his voice cracked horribly, “Why were you so silly, even if you’re sick, the advanced technology in medicine now would have cured you. How could you easily give up in exchange for those things?”
Candice smiled, “I’m not silly, I did earn from this. Emerson, in the last days of my life being able to spend it here with you for some time, is the happiness that I coincidentally came across. But you still have a long life ahead of you, you shouldn’t waste the rest of your life here. You should go back, continue your pride and joy and take good care of Edward.”
Emerson nodded, “Yes, I shouldn’t waste time here, but I’m not leaving, we will leave together. Before that you were in a coma, so I wanted to give you a good place where you can rest well. But now you’re awake, so I’m bringing you to receive treatment.”
“But…”
Emerson pressed one finger on Candice’s lips. “No buts, just follow everything I said.”
