Hearing that the man was her mother’s brother, Kara felt complicated. But she raised a sweet smile on her delicate little face.
“My mother never mentioned the past, so I didn’t know that she had a brother. Anyway, thank you for helping me.
“Where are you taking me?”
“We are going to a safe place.” There was a deeper meaning to Kason’s smile.
Kara did not know where the safe place he was referring to was. She missed James very much, so she asked gingerly.
“Excuse me. When will James come to see me?”
“Do you like James a lot?” Kason looked at Kara curiously.

Kara could only shut up.
She waited but found that the defense was very tight. Kara had a strange feeling but didn’t know how to say it.
After the car stopped, Kason got out of the car, and Kara also got out of the car quickly.
Kara looked up at the surroundings. There were small buildings all around her. The buildings were not high, and there were many glass walls.
Following Kason in, Kara found that people inside were all wearing white coats.
When they walked into the elevator, the man behind Kason pressed the button for the third floor underground. The two men who followed into the elevator kept standing behind Kara and staring at her.
The strange feeling in Kara’s heart was getting stronger and stronger. Then, the elevator stopped and gave a prompt.
The elevator opened. But there was an iron door outside that needed the person inside the door to open with the key.
“Mr. Kason, where are we?”

Kara clenched her fists and turned around. She wanted to go back on her word but was stopped by the two robots.
“Let Miss Kara in.”
The two robots immediately opened their arms and carried Kara into the room.
Kara struggled. But the robot’s arms were too hard. As soon as Kara twisted, her arms were bruised. It hurt so much that she dared not move again.
Kara entered the room. The room was not small. All four walls were painted white. Except for a bed, there was nothing else.
“Why are you doing this to me?”
“I want to raise the little thing in your body well.” Kason walked into the room and motioned the two robots to hold Kara.
Kara could not move. When she saw that Kason was holding a needle in his hand, she shrank back in fear.

But at this time, Kara couldn’t escape at all and could only watch as the medicine in the needle was injected into her body.
Kara immediately felt that the place on her arm started to heat up. And gradually, a red line spread from her wrist to her shoulder, entering her major artery.

Kason handed the needle to his subordinate and quietly waited to appreciate the changes in Kara’s body.
The robots let go of Kara, and Kara weakly lay on the ground. She felt a layer of hot sweat on her back, and her limbs became stiff. It became difficult for her to breathe.

James looked around. They were in Donald’s apartment. James rubbed his forehead.
He must have missed Kara too much during the day, so he heard her voice. James found an excuse for himself.
“Why aren’t you asleep yet?”
James couldn’t fall asleep. He turned around and saw Nolan trying to use his right hand to use the keyboard.
Nolan was left-handed, and his right hand had been injured before. So, Nolan had been using his left hand after that.
Nolan lowered his head and looked at his left hand. Because he lowered his head, James did not notice the pain in his eyes.

The atmosphere was a little down. James didn’t need to look at Nolan’s eyes. He knew that Nolan must be in a bad mood.
Sitting next to Nolan, James patted his shoulder and comforted him.
