Donald put the phone on speaker, and James could clearly hear Corey’s voice. Although Corey pretended to be casual, he sounded a little flustered.
Corey must have run into something, or he would not have called Simon.
James gestured to Donald. Donald nodded and answered Corey with a smile.
“Mr. Corey, I already said that we are businessmen. I can help you, but you should let me know what I can get.”

It was a threat.
Donald became even calmer. “Mr. Corey, my father loves my brother very much. If something happens to him, it won’t do you any good. Do you understand what I am saying?”
It meant that Roger was Vincent’s favorite son. If he died, Vincent would definitely be angry, and it would be bad for Corey.
“Fine. What do you want?” Corey said with some ridicule in his tone.
“I’d like to help, but you have to tell me where you are.”
Corey gave an address, and James immediately searched. When James knew where it was, he and Donald looked at each other and quickly got up to go downstairs.
According to the route that Corey said, Corey was preparing to go on his private plane. But he was stopped. Corey was unable to move, and Kara’s life might be in danger.
At the same time, a car, which was surrounded, made a sharp turn. Because of the inertia, Kara’s forehead hit the window. Kara let out a low cry and opened her eyes in a daze.
She found herself in a car and surrounded by strangers.
Kara thought of her situation before she fainted. Thinking of Jadon, she immediately struggled and wanted to get out of the car.
The man sitting next to her immediately grabbed her wrist to make her behave.
“You work for Jadon. There are no hard feelings between him and me. Why did you catch me?”
“I don’t want to hurt you. I just want to take you to Country R. Now, we are being chased,” the man explained kindly.
He was separated from Corey and wanted to take Kara to the private plane. But still, they were found.
Kara frowned, thinking, ‘They kidnapped me but said that they wouldn’t hurt me. What kind of a joke is this?’
Kara struggled even harder. She used her limbs to hit the man. When she could not beat him, Kara began to bite him.
The man did not expect Kara to be so fierce. He let out a scream. But thinking that his boss had instructed him not to hurt her, the man could only endure the pain.
“Miss Kara, please calm down. I will not harm you.”
“You are kidnappers and a group of bastards. You keep saying that you will not hurt me, but what you are doing hurts me!” Kara cursed angrily.

When the man saw that she suddenly calmed down, he thought that she had thought it through. The man was finally relieved.
“Miss Kara, my boss will take you to the plane in a while. You will be safe once you leave here.”
Kara snorted, thinking, ‘If I leave with them, then I will be in real danger!’
Kara pretended to be angry and leaned to the side. She reached her little hand into her pocket. Just as the man breathed a sigh of relief, Kara took out the thing from her pocket and sprayed the man’s eyes.
“Miss Kara!” The man covered his eyes in pain, and Kara wanted to open the door.
However, the driver in front had already locked all the doors. Kara crawled to the front and sprayed the driver a few times.
This pepper spray was given to her by Jamya. Kara always thought it was just for fun. But unexpectedly, it helped today.

“Miss Kara, I’m here to take you home.”

“Who are you?”

“May I know who you are?”
“I know James,” the man said with a smile.
“I see.”

“Thank you for saving me. I am Kara, James’ wife.”
“Yes, I know.”
The man smiled and nodded. He observed Kara’s facial features and could not help but say, “You really look like her.”

“You look like your mother,” the man sighed.
Kara smiled, “Yes. People all say that I look like my mother a lot. Do you know my mother?”
“Yes. I am your mother’s brother. My name is Kason Abbot. Have you heard of me from your mother?”
Kara widened her eyes in surprise. She did not expect to meet her mother’s brother here.
