Chapter 476 A Cruel Woman

Book:Uncle's Love: My Sweet Little Wife Published:2024-5-29

When James was in a bad mood, he would become a person who wasn’t easy to get along with. Once someone approached him, someone would get hurt.
James knew his temper, so he avoided Kara and came to find his friends.
After all, friends were all joking with each other and wouldn’t care about these details.
But when the brothers dispersed, James sat in the car alone. He did not want to return to the villa.
He picked up his phone and called Nolan. Nolan, who was sleeping, answered the call in a daze. Nolan was somewhat puzzled.
Didn’t James ask Nolan to rest early today? Why would James call?
“Nolan, I’m bored. Bring Kram to his villa.”
“Mr. James, it’s late. What time is it?” Nolan frowned in confusion when he heard the hint of drunkenness in James’ voice.
James looked at his watch. It was already early in the morning.
“So?”
“So, shouldn’t you be sleeping with Miss Kara at this time?” Nolan persuaded kindly.
“Well, Nolan, do you live by the sea?”
Nolan got up and looked at the lights outside the window. Of course, he did not live by the sea. He lived in an apartment near the SA Group.
“You don’t live by the sea, right? Why do you care about it so much? Do you still want a year-end bonus?”
James roared. He turned off his phone and threw it on the passenger seat.
The streets in the early hours of the night were quiet, and only the street lights accompanied James as he drove.
The light sprinkled on the side of his face while revealing the shadows. His look was frightening.
He kept speeding up and wantonly vented his frustrations on the spacious road.
When he arrived outside the villa of the Powell family, he looked at the bright lights in the window, and he smiled mockingly.
After waiting for ten minutes, Nolan rushed over in a hurry.
He said casually, “Mr. James, what is the meaning of this?”
“I can’t sleep. I want to find someone to play with.” James glanced at Nolan madly while getting out of the car and walking in.
Nolan stretched out his hand and followed his two subordinates. The subordinates grabbed Kram, who was tortured to the point of being covered in wounds. They came to the door of the villa.
The door lock of the villa had a password. Nolan asked Kram to unlock it, and Kram timidly stepped forward to unlock it.
“Mr. James, no matter what, I am still your uncle. For the sake of our relationship, let me go,” Kram begged.
James said while looking at Kram with a smile, “Uncle? No. You’re not worthy.”
Keely heard the movement and went downstairs in her pajamas. When she saw Kram kneeling on the ground, she was a little shocked, and her expression was complicated.
“James, what are you doing?”
James lazily sat on the couch. The bright light fell on his handsome face while casting a shadow on it and giving off a chill.
He looked coldly at Keely with indifferent brown eyes.
“Keely, I helped you find Kram. How do you thank me?”
Keely took a few steps back while feeling terrified.
Kram, who was kneeling on the ground, struggled to get up. But someone else was holding him back.
He cried and begged, “Keely, I am your brother. You must save me. Save me.”
“Shit. You are my brother, and you lie to me and cheat me of all my money just because I treat you well. Kram, I don’t recognize you as my brother,” Keely cursed angrily.
“No, no, Keely. I know I was wrong. I apologize to you. Keely, I was forced to do this. The Powell Group can’t survive. I can only leave. And I didn’t get your money. It was taken by James.”
When Nolan heard that Kram was still quibbling, he stepped forward and stepped on Kram’s leg.
“Man, you need to have evidence when you speak. When did Mr. James touch your things? It was you who was greedy. You used the money to invest and lost all the money.”
James asked Nolan to take away the money. With Nolan’s methods, he would not take it by force. This was illegal.
So Nolan set up a trap and let Kram invest in a project. Kram received tens of millions of benefits at the beginning, and when he tasted the benefits, he threw all the money in. But later, Nolan took the money he invested later away.
It could earn a few hundred million with tens of millions. It sounded a profitable thing. Why did Kram not do it?
Kram wailed in pain and shook his head in denial. “It was you who schemed against me!”
“Well, this cannot be considered a scheme. It can only be because you are too stupid,” Nolan mocked.
Although Keely hated Kram, Kram was still her brother after all. While seeing Kram’s painful expression, she secretly gritted her teeth.
“James, what do you want to do to let my brother go?”
“Keely, when you harmed my mother, did you ever think of this day?” James asked with a smile while staring at Keely calmly.
At the mention of Vivian, Keely’s face turned pale.
“I already said that I wasn’t the one who killed her. I shouldn’t be the one to be blamed.”
“Really?” James tilted his head in confusion.
“Wasn’t it you who forced Quentin to send my mother to the operating table?”
Keely didn’t answer.
“Or didn’t you find someone to sully my mother back then and send her to a mental hospital? Well, right. When my mother committed suicide, the depression medicine she took was also given by you.
“Keely, no matter what kind of pain my mother suffered back then, I will make you pay back twice the amount.”
The last sentence was like a sharp blade that stabbed into Keely’s heart.
“You… What do you want?”
“It’s nothing much. How did my mother die back then? You will be buried with her!” James smirked with malicious brown eyes.
“No, no.”
Keely wanted to escape, but she was held down by Nolan’s subordinates. Then Nolan took out a box of depression medicine and stuffed it into Keely’s mouth.
“James, this is murder. It’s against the law…” Keely wailed.
Keely knew that this was illegal. Why did she not have consciousness back then?
When Kram saw that Keely was being fed medicine, he shrank back in fear. But he was held down by Nolan’s subordinates again.
“Mr. James, she has a grudge against your mother. But it has nothing to do with me. Please spare me.”
“You took what belongs to the Hemming family. It’s not easy to get away.” James got up and walked on Kram’s legs. Kram cried in pain.
“Keely, do you want to end up like your brother?”
James also took out a gun and pointed it at Kram’s head.
Keely was so scared that she froze and struggled. She stared at James helplessly and obediently ate the medicine.
James saw that Keely understood the situation, and a smile appeared on his face again. He handed the gun to Keely.
“Kill him and I can spare your life.”
Keely’s fingers trembled and she shook her head desperately. He wanted to throw away the gun in her hand, but her wrist was tightly pinched by James. She could not fight back.
“James, you beast. She is my biological brother.”
“If you can’t kill your brother, how can you kill someone else’s mother?”
James’ voice was cold, but there was a hint of a smile on his face.
When he was still young, he had hoped that Keely would come to hug him and get close to him.
But the way Keely looked at him was always full of disgust and indifference, which once made him feel uncomfortable and painful.
Until later, when James met his real mother, this pain was cured.
Keely did not give James any warmth but took away the remaining warmth that he had pitifully little. Keely had no idea how cruel she was to hurt others.
