Chapter 38 Kiss When He’s Angry

Book:Heard That You Love Me Published:2024-5-1

Shirley plucks up and looks at his eyes, “Let me go.”
Yates has never been pissed off in public just because of a woman.
This time, he is in a great rage!
Shirley shakes off his hands, turns around and leaves.
Yates strides and holds her in his arms by using a single hand. He holds her cheeks gently and kisses her lips hard as if it is a punishment.
There is dead silence in the canteen, and everybody holds their breath gazing at them.
Shirley struggles and even hits him, however, but that’s in vain.
The harder she struggles and beats, the more deeply Yates kisses her until she dares not to move any more.
Then Yates slowly let go off her lips and whispers in a low voice, “I will let you stand by my side confidently by my side, trust me.”
Shirley’s thoughts in a whirl, and dares not to look at his eyes. Her lips still remain his smell and doesn’t know what to do.
“Wow! Yates is so cool!”
“OMG! That is called manhood. I’m so into him!”
People around express their envy continuously. People are disappointed at what Shirley has done. She shakes off his hand and leave decidedly.
“Holy shit! What an idiot she is.”
“How fucking cold-blooded she is!”
“Love and adore my Yates…”
Shirley quickly runs out of the canteen, and she stops when she runs to the lawn behind the studying building.
She dares not to move, just because she dares not to try such this deadly sweet. Before she is not strong enough, she will breakdown easily.
Shirley suddenly understands the saying that you should study when you have a too ambitious goal.
Yep, she determines to be the one who is qualified to stand by Yates’ side.
Taking out her phone, Shirley sends a message to Yates.
Shirley reads, “I will try my best on my own to be really with you without being criticized by others.”
There are around one month left before graduating.
Shirley invites Sparkler to play the King of Glory in order to improve her skills of using heroes every night.
Gradually, she regards Sparkler as her own intimate brother, telling him some secrets honestly which she dares not tell others.
She logs in the games account after finishing her homework tonight.
Now she is pretty good at operating.
Seeing Sparkler online, she sends him the ranking invitation link.
Sparkler joins into the ranking team, asking at the dialogue box, “Do you decide to rank?”
Shirley replies, “Yep. It’s the time. I’m gonna be the ranking list without failure tonight!”
Sparkler says, “Great! You are an ambitious guy!”
Completing matching, the game starts.
The hero she chooses is Angela, the Mage, who walks in the middle road steadily. She starts to kill the enemy after ending NPCs’ lives. Then she goes to the opposite wilderness area to fight, which makes her opponent, Arthur, so annoyed.
Arthur runs after her carry broadsword, who is killed by Angela instead. History seems to be repeating itself. He’s killed by her again when he revives.
Someone types a question at the dialogue box, “The hero story where it is said that Angel chases Arthur? Now why is it a reversal?”
Shirley just smiles because she used to do a lot of stupid things. That’s why she feels so intimate when she sees those stupid teammates and opponents.
Comparing to those who insult others angrily when they lose, Shirley is quite pretty nice and kind because she’s never abused anyone.
They two rank the Gold level from the Bronze level which is the lowest level at one fling.
Due to skills and rules of the game she is getting familiar with, she perceives that Sparkler seems to be a rookie but he has a good command of techniques, which indicates he shouldn’t be a rookie. He is like… an old hand who is hiding his strength?
