When finished, Shirley sends a message to Sparkler.
Shirley says, “I saved your life!”
Sparkler replies, “Well-done, you really surprised me today.”
Shirley reads, “Of course. I’m the one that will fight with the man I like.”
Finishing typing this line, she can’t even smile.
Can she really fight with Yates?
The word which shows jeers from others still haunts her, which makes her heartbreak.
Shirley says, “Sparkler, I feel like there is a big difference between him and me. Even if it’s the first step, I just feel so overwhelmed and don’t know how to do.”
Shirley adds, “Today, someone said that I don’t deserve him. But the strange thing is that I agree with her with sadness.”
Sparkler replies, “Are… you insane?”
Shirley says, “Maybe! I’m too timid to confess my account which is chosen as his apprentice. In the end, someone impersonated me to claim it.”
Sparkler is speechless, “…”
Shirley says, “OK. Let’s forget it. Let’s match.”
Shirley sends the invitation link to Sparkler, whereas Yates is lost in his minds.
Impersonated? Isn’t Lily the owner of the account?
Yates becomes more absent-minded. At the round he fails very hard more than ever before. Shirley saves him several times constantly because he is killed by the enemy several time as well.
He finally realizes the game is almost over until it is full of a stream of abuse at the public dialogue box. He fails for the Turret is half toppled.
Shirley questions, “Hey, it’s not OK with such skills.”
Sparkler replies, “I have something to handle. Let’s play next time.”
Finishing his words, his avatar turns gray, which means he logs out.
Yates turns on the computer and then finds the comments of the special topic in order to search the account.
The computer is his major. It’s a piece of cake to find an ID in campus. He soon finds it by using human flesh search.
It turns out that the ID belongs to Shirley indeed while Lily’s is another account.
Next day, Shirley is woken up by Karen’s constant calls. She’s still not conscious and picks the phone, “Hi, what’s wrong? Why call me so early?”
“Shirley, you have one hour to back to school or I will not see you again.” Not waiting Shirley to talk, Karen hangs up.
Shirley gets up quickly and dares not to waste a second, worrying what happens to Karen.
Even she doesn’t eat the breakfast cooked by her mother. She grabs a steamed stuffed bun and rushes into the elevator carrying her bag.
“Please go to the Central University. Could you hurry please?” Shirley’s mind tense with a great sense of urgency. Karen is mad at Mack and wants to suicide?
Walking into the school, she finds out that Karen is standing to wait for her right there.
“Karen, are… are you OK?”
Karen just stands still and clasps her hands behind her back. She takes out the colorful firecracker suddenly when Shirley gets close.
Boom! Colorful ribbons are spread by her side.
“Congrates! You become the vital apprentice of Yates’.”
Shirley is super surprised, “…” Holy shit! How can she know that?
Shirley is totally astonished at this matter known by Karen.
“You still don’t know? Last night, Yates published the ID he chose and exposed the lie that Lily pretended her as his apprentice. At present, Lily has her reputation swept away! She deserves it for impersonating others.”
Karen speaks with great anger. She even wants Lily to be more miserable.
Seeing Shirley is still in shock, Karen pulls her outside the school, “I’m so happy today. I’m gonna take you to celebrate.”
Shirley blinks and wonders what happened on earth just one night.
She is pulled into the car and still recovering from the reality.
