Shirley and Karen they two carry dozens of bags, walking on the pavement.
Karen says, “You must wonder why I buy those expensive stuffs for you, right?”
Shirley nods, “Yep. Though it’s not your card, it’s not your way to do such things.”
“If I say Mack is cheating on me, how do you think?” Karen stops to look at her.
Shirley is too surprised to move, “No way?”
“Hahahaha… Of course not. Just kidding.” Karen bursts out laughing and keeps moving forward.
However, Shirley cannot. She sees tears in her eyes clearly.
She’s not good at talking, let alone comfort.
She just follows Karen silently.
Karen suddenly turns around when walking, “I feel so good today. Could you have a drink with me?”
Shirley can’t say no, and can’t leave Karen alone.
After a few drinks, Karen gets loaded and starts to lean over her, telling her some old things.
“Shirley, Lily used to be my best friend, but she stole my first love. Now finally I meet Mack and am in love with him, who is such a perfect person. I figure that I’m better than her in various aspects! So, I can’t only watch she has a love affair with Yates. I will help you, certainly.”
Shirley is surprised, “…” It turns out that Karen will help her because of her own purpose.

“Nonetheless, I will help you, really, be together with Yates, until we graduate from college at least. I won’t let Lily get what she wants.”

At this point, Shirley’s phone sounds.
Shirley takes her hands out which has been pressing by Karen for a long time. Yates’ voice comes when she answers the phone, “Where are you?”
“I’m outside. Karen got loaded totally.” Shirley says in an extremely low voice, seemingly indicating that she needs help.
“Your location.” After saying this, Yates hangs up.
Shirley does not even think, and turns on the phone sending her location to him.
Karen pukes all over Shirley suddenly.
That strange smell makes Shirley want to cry.
Karen leans on her like an octopus so tightly.
After trying several times to push Karen away, she fails and just waits for Yates here.
Yates comes there real quick, also with Mack together.
Mack gets closer to them and tears them apart. Thank God! Shirley is saved finally.
Mack brings Karen home without even saying goodbye.
Shirley can feel the eyes Yates has on her. Suddenly she realizes that she is full of Karen’s vomitus, which can’t lay people’s eyes on it.
She blushes at once. It is so embarrassing and shameful that she wants to hide immediately.
And in front of Yates.
However, to her surprise, Yates seems not to care about those dirty stuffs on her body. He just garbs her and her bags out of the bar.
“Where… where are we going to?” Shirley gazes at their hands together.
Yates pulls her into his car and says seriously, “Go to my home.”
It’s been a long time for Shirley to understand. “Ah?” She utters with surprise.
Yates has already driven out of the parking lot and headed to his apartment.
