Liz shook Kara’s arm, but she still didn’t wake up. Liz was so scared that she was about to cry.
Hazel quickly came over, touched Kara’s pulse, and pinched the acupuncture points on her wrist and head.
“Kara, wake up.” Hazel cried out in a low voice.
It was useless to pinch the acupuncture point, and Hazel was flustered.
Then, she ran over to find her small bag and found a row of silver needles.
She held a lighter and burned the silver needles. She touched the acupuncture points and the silver needles went down.
Liz opened her eyes wide and saw a long silver needle poking into Kara’s head. She was so scared that she collapsed on the stool.
“Hazel, you even know acupuncture!”
“Heal, vocal cords, study.” Hazel pointed to her vocal cords.
“Do we need to take her to the hospital?”
Hazel touched Kara’s forehead. Kara’s body temperature was normal, and Hazel could wake her up, so she should not need to go to the hospital.
Hazel shook her head and Kara’s forehead was full of needles. Liz did not dare to relax, her frightened hands shaking.
After a while, Kara let out a cough. Liz quickly comforted her and told her not to move.
“What’s wrong?”
Kara felt a little dizzy, and she squinted at Liz.
“Hazel is applying needles. Don’t move. It will be fine in a while.”
Hazel touched her pulse and frowned slightly. She glanced at Kara and did not say much. She pulled out all the silver needles, cleaned them, and put them back into the package.
After lying down for a while, Kara felt a bit more comfortable and looked at Hazel in surprise.
“Hazel, you are so awesome. You even know acupuncture.”
Hazel was a little embarrassed. There were some things she could not say, so she used her hand to gesture.
“Kara, you are sick. Do you know?”
Kara looked at her gesture and revealed a faint smile.
“I know. You can’t wake me up after I slept, right?”
“Yes, you scared me,” Liz was scared to tears.
“It’s fine. I used to sleep for a day, but I haven’t seen this kind of situation in a long time.”
Kara did not care at all and got out of bed to pack her things to go to class.
“You are not in good health. Do you want to go to the hospital? Don’t go to class.” Liz stopped her.
“No, today is Master Larry’s class, and I am still her assistant. If I don’t go, Master Larry will scold me.” Kara took the books and pulled them to class together.
“Hazel, what did you find?” Kara asked Hazel softly.
Hazel frowned. She touched Kara’s wrist and placed Kara’s palm in her hand. “She was poisoned. It was very serious.”
“Can it be treated?”
For a moment, Hazel did not know how to explain, “I am a newbie. I have not studied poison. I do not know the situation. But looking at your physical condition, it is not good. You should treat it as soon as possible.”
“OK.” Kara lowered her head, a complicated look in her eyes.
If she wanted to treat the poison, she had to leave James. She didn’t want to leave him.
Uncle Will has said that her body is recovering and maybe there is a way.
“Kara, give me a copy of your medical report. I’ll try it.” Hazel said in a serious tone.
Kara looked at her in surprise. The calmness in Hazel’s eyes made her feel strange.
Hazel felt embarrassed. She blinked and asked in confusion, “What?”
“It’s okay. I just think you are amazing. You can dance, acupuncture, and paint. What else can you do?” Kara changed the topic with a smile.
Hazel thought for a moment and gestured with her hands, “I grew up alone. If you want to talk about something I know, there are cooking, embroidery, measurements, and even some widgets.”
Kara was shocked.
Kara gave her a thumbs-up.
Every time she entered the kitchen, James was worried that she would hurt herself. Not to mention making clothes, even folding clothes was a tragedy.
…
The School of Arts had its independent teaching building. There was a big classroom in the sketching class. Kara was the assistant to collect homework.
By the time the last student finished his homework and Kara left the classroom, the sky had already darkened.
Walking out of the school building, Kara noticed that no one called her, and she pouted her lips gloomily.
“Kara, are you feeling better?”
When she walked out of the teaching building, she saw Eli standing outside the door. She was a little surprised.
“Why are you here?”
“I was worried about you. Liz said that you couldn’t awake at noon. Did this happen in the past?”
Eli went forward to take the stack of homework from her and then sent her to the teacher’s office building.
“How did you know?” Kara raised her eyebrows in confusion.
“I asked your roommate. Have you been to the hospital for a check?” Eli smiled calmly.
“Yes, some people are dizzy because of anemia. I like to sleep because of anemia. I am used to it.” Kara’s amber eyes flashed with starlight, a bit crafty.
When she noticed that the female students who walked past them would stop for a few seconds on Eli’s face, she quickly changed the topic.
“Eli, is there a lot of people wooing you in your school?”
Eli was stunned and looked at her strangely.
“What’s the use of that? The person I like doesn’t like me.”
Kara was speechless. She was really stupid to dig another trap for herself.
“In the future, there will be a person you like who also likes you. She will love you deeply and she does not want to leave you.” Kara said in a serious tone.
“There will be,” said Eli as he shifted her gaze away, a cold sneer on his lips.
“There will be. I am a lucky star. What I have said will come true.” Kara clenched her fists.
To prove that her words were effective, she added, “When you find that person, you must remember to pay me back.”
Eli glanced at her and didn’t say anything.
Putting the homework on the teacher’s desk, the two left the classroom office building. Eli knew that Kara was returning to James’s villa.
Kara walked to the entrance of the school and saw Eli following behind her. She looked at him in confusion.
“Eli, aren’t you going to have dinner?”
“Kara, remember, I will be behind you. Whether you and James will be together forever or not, as long as you turn around, I will be there.”
Kara stared at him blankly.
She was touched by Eli’s sincerity.
However, the more he said, the more uncomfortable she felt in her heart.
She could not bear his feelings and saw that he was deeply immersed in this relationship. There was sympathy and heartache.
“Eli, I won’t turn around. If you feel pain, stay away from me. The scar will heal after some time.”
Eli chuckled. His handsome face was very beautiful under the light of the streetlights.
However, his eyes were somewhat bleak.
“Kara!”
Suddenly, there was a roar, and Kara turned around in shock.
She saw a tall and straight figure standing under a street light.
A gust of autumn wind blew, and the autumn leaf was swept down and landed on the man.
However, the coldness emanating from the man’s body was even stronger than the coolness of the autumn wind, causing people to not dare to approach him.
