EPISODE NINETEEN
THEME: Affection and Lust
MOON STONE FORTRESS
“Do not correct me even if I am wrong. None of us actually likes her.” Hermione frowned, dabbing at her nails with a nail polish.
“I never said I like her.” Claire chipped in.
Lorelei laughed her head off at her friends complaint. “You both are just jealous.”
“Of what exactly? She is so full of herself.” Hermione defended.
“It is how she works so hard to impress my parents when she has her own father. For seven months I had what seem like a peaceful moment with my dearest parents.” Claire mused.
The three best friends sat in Claire’s room, who is the youngest of the trio gossiping about Juno. Lorelei was off work and had the time to chitchat with her childhood friends. She stared at Hermione as she kept kissing her teeth while trying to focus on the painting of her nail. She always referred Juno as a prideful wolf. Personally Lorelei has no issues with Juno and they haven’t really had anything to do together. So, she couldn’t relate with them.
“When would you admit you are only angry at her because your brothers have a strong crush on her.” Lorelei taunted.
Swiping up the nail brush at Lorelei in annoyance, Hermione huffed. “You have no damn idea what you are talking about.” She pouted.
“What do you mean by that?” Claire bickered, looking bewildered. She has a long time crush on Ron one of Hermione’s brother. And the talk of him having a crush on Juno was new to her.
A bout of laughter erupted Lorelei’s lips. “You mean to say you are oblivious to it? Every one in the fortress except maybe you and Juno knows they have a crush on her most especially Ron.”
“Did you know about this?” Claire turned towards Hermione who tried to avoid her eyes. “You traitor!” She whined.
Hermione shrugged, throwing her hands out in defense. “How was I to know what those silly goose had in mind?”
“But you did know, didn’t you?” Claire shot back.
“You should hold Lorelei responsible not me!” Hermione said.
Throwing her hands out Claire giggled loudly as she plopped herself up and down the bed.
“What’s wrong?” Hermione and Lorelei asked at the same time.
“So rumor has it.” Claire giggled again.
“What?” Lorelei and Hermione asked in unison.
“Rumor has it that Lorelei has been sneaking into my brother’s room for some sugar.” Claire blurted.
Lorelei stared at her dumfounded, while Hermione tried her hardest to keep herself from coughing.
“Is this a joke?” Hermione questioned.
“Not at all. What have you got to say Lorelei?” Claire taunted.
“I have nothing to say. I went in to get my possession that he had with him and he tried to act funny like he always does.” Lorelei looked unshaken as she gave her own side of the story.
The other two excitement deflated, when it was obvious there wasn’t more to the story than she already explained.
“The pack house maids sometimes have too many wrong information.” Lorelei grumbled.
“But you do like him don’t you?” Hermione teased.
Claire rolled her eyes. “Everyone knows Lorelei is head over heels in love with Jayden even though she denies it every time.”
“You both have no idea about what you are saying. I feel nothing for him.” She insisted.
“But you do love gawking at him. How isn’t that being interested?” Claire wiggled her brows as she shared a laugh with Hermione.
“You both sound really gross right now. You know what?” Lorelei lifted herself from the bed. “I would go get myself a nice refreshing smoothie at the mall. If you would please excuse me.”
“Can’t we come with you?” Claire asked.
“None of you should be on my tail. Don’t make me repeat myself.” Lorelei warned before leaving the room.
They knew better than to push further because she was getting angry at their childishness. Coming out of Claire’s room she hoped fervently that she doesn’t cross paths with Jayden. Her heart panted as she got close to the stairs leading downstairs. Having a silent prayer that she doesn’t get seen by him.
Just as she had her legs on the first stairs, she thought she had lost her balance when her body hit something hard. Lorelei gasped when she felt a hot breath on her neck, regaining herself she realized she had been pulled by Jayden. Pushing him as hard as she can, she only succeeded in lifting his head from her but not releasing herself from him.
“What the hell is wrong with you?” She yelled, searching frantically for anyone to interfere.
He hardly came onto her in public, but Jayden obviously doesn’t mind displaying his affection towards her right now.
He let out a dry chuckle. “Stop thinking anyone will come save you.”
“Let go of me Jayden.” She glared at him but her body betrayed her words. She was enjoying the feel of his strong arms around her and the smell of him filled her nostrils.
“Can’t I say hi anymore.” Jayden whispered in a dangerously sexual voice that sent shivers down Lorelei’s spine.
She wished she had no shame and could grab him by the neck and kiss the hell out of him. But she knew, all of that was lusting over him and it would be a total shame to get deflowered by the bad boy wolf who would only count her in as a trophy.
Lorelei tried struggling out of his grip again when she felt something hard hitting on her thigh despite being clothed.
Jayden licked his lips seductively. “Can you feel that baby? I get turned on with just your body movement.” Inhaling her smell with the dip of his nose into her neck and he moaned. “You drive me crazy.”
Lorelei could feel her wetness in her panties. Jayden would be the death of her. She couldn’t let herself off to him like that. Calling herself back to order, she pushed harder this time and was able to move two steps away from him.
“I am warning you again, Jayden, stay the fuck away from me!” She pointed her finger at him.
Jayden only laughed to her face as he raised his hands up in surrender and he walked away. “I am not making any promises.” He called out.
“Bastard!” She muttered.
Trying hard to calm herself down, with the heat she felt all over her body. She knew the cold smoothie was worthy to have at this point.
