THE MOON GODDESS CHOICE
(A Card of Fate)
EPISODE FIFTEEN
THEME: Jayden’s thoughts
MOON STONE FORTRESS
Jayden rested his head on the couch looking bored as the brunette he had picked up from the club he went to the previous night sucked on him with all her strength just to hear him make a sound.
She was good, but he wasn’t in any mood to arouse anyone. Moreover, they had fucked all through the night. Judging by her performance, he might beckon to her again after his foul mood dissipates.
Just as she tickled his dick cap with her tongue making him let out a moan from the depth of his belly. Sebastian opened the door unexpectedly.
“What the hell?” He yelled out in horror, covering his eyes with his hands.
Jayden let out a weak chuckle, beckoning to the girl whom he had been too preoccupied to ask for her name to leave. Feeling embarrassed, she had ran picking up her things and sprinted her way out.
“For crying out loud, do you intend to make the pack house a whore house?” Sebastian whined, giving him a look.
“Are you being judgmental right now?” Jayden retorted, holding out his dick till it turned soft in his hands. He raised a brow at Sebastian daring him to say something.
Jayden stood up with his trousers in the middle of his thigh. He went into the bathroom to wash up.
Sebastian sat on the edge of the bed, scared of cleaning up cum with his neatly ironed suit pant. Coming out of the bathroom, Jayden gave his friend a funny look.
“You look awful sitting weird like that.”
“Well I could have chosen to sit on the floor.” Sebastian snapped back.
“But you didn’t and decided to make yourself uncomfortable on a bed. If you must know, I had her pussy spread wide on that particular spot you are sitting with my dick doing some healing to it and-”
Sebastian didn’t let him finish before jumping away from the sacred space. Jayden laughed loudly, throwing his head back. He enjoys making a mess of Sebastian. As strong and intelligent and Sebastian was, he acted really silly to a whole lot of things.
“You get fooled so easily. Sit down!” Jayden muttered as he returned to his sitting position.
“Just so you know, I really don’t trust your words.” Sebastian said, still sitting with caution on the bed.
“It’s not like I really do care.”
“I hate you.”
“Can’t change your mind, not willing to.” Jayden smirked. “Those are what you call some nice rhymes.”
Sebastian snorted. “You could have fooled me.”
“Just shut up.”
They kept quiet enjoying the serenity of the space. “How is your dad?” Sebastian was the first to speak. “My dad said he looks a bit better.”
Jayden shrugged with a frown on his face. “Maybe he is, but there is something really fishy going on. Mom and dad have been having this silent conversations and they went ahead to call onto the great seer thinking I wouldn’t know. And they have been watching the pack gate expectantly, especially mom like they are awaiting someone’s arrival.”
Sebastian tried to bite his tongue, but he let the question out anyway. “You think he is coming back?”
“Who.”
Sebastian cleared his throat awkwardly. “Your brother.”
Jayden hissed loudly. “They wouldn’t dare to do such. If care isn’t taken I might rip dad off his alpha position before the initial death comes to whisk him away.” Standing up, he headed to his mini bar. He uncapped a whiskey bottle and chugged down the content with no caution.
The mention of his twin brother just made him feel some kind of strange feeling that almost seems like fear. He had never really like his brother. And knowing Jaylen, he could be sweet to almost everyone he came across. Unlike him who was mostly tagged the trouble maker.
He had learnt to not give room to his prospective enemy during a leadership lesson when they were ten. They had been on good terms then. Knowing he would be the next alpha, the lesson had triggered him to not let Jaylen get too comfortable with the thought of him also becoming an alpha. They were young then, but Jayden had always been quick to interpret things.
To show he would always have control he had taken a turn to ensure his brother knew who the boss was. He has no regrets getting him out of the pack years ago, he did what was right for the pack. As a future alpha, he knew it was his duty to fight off threats and as much as it might sound absurd his twin brother was a threat, and their continuous fight will mess with the pack and its members which would give an obvious room for enemies to penetrate them.
Jayden didn’t need anyone to tell him he did the right thing, even though gossips have been flying around.
Sebastian watched as the wheels in his head twisted and turned. As much as he respected Jayden for the love he has for the packs, it is a disappointment that the pack’s prospective alpha listens to no one but himself. Only hypocrites would deny the injustice that was melted on Jaylen years ago. And if truly he was coming back, Sebastian hoped there won’t be any revenge bone inside of him.
The Moon Stone Fortress was in enough turmoil already, having to deal with a brothers feud would only make things worse.
“Do you think he would actually return?” Jayden asked out of the blue, he was certainly thinking of the situation.
Sebastian shrugged, thinking his words through carefully. “I doubt if he would, it’s been a long time since he left.”
“But dad is dying. The Jaylen I know won’t be so relaxed hearing our father might take his last breath soon.”
“So?”
Jayden snorted. “I’m hoping for his own sake he wouldn’t come back. I am still not backing out of my promise to kill him with my own hands if he ever returns.”
Nodding his head, Sebastian gulped hard. He hoped fervently Jaylen would stay away as much as he can. It won’t be nice having a bloodshed when it’s not war time yet.
