CHAPTER SIXTY ONE

Book:Claimed By The Ruthless Alpha Published:2024-5-1

CAMILLE’S POV :
As I woke up, I feel a dull ache between my legs. It takes me a moment to remember what happened last night – the alpha wolf coming into my room, using my body for his pleasure. I can still feel his rough hands on my skin, his teeth grazing my neck.
I sat up in bed, trying to push the memories out of my mind. My head is throbbing and my mouth is dry. I feel like I’ve been drugged.
I forced myself to get out of bed and stumble to the bathroom. I splashed some water on my face and looked at myself in the mirror. My hair is a tangled mess, my eyes are bloodshot, and there are bite marks all over my neck and shoulders.
I winced as I remembered how rough the alpha was with me. I was just a toy to him, something to be used and thrown away.
Tears fill my eyes as I realize that I have no control over my own body. I’m at the mercy of the alpha.
I can’t keep living like this. I need to find a way to escape. But for now, I have to find a way to survive another day in this hellhole.
As I make my way down the stairs, I can hear the sound of laughter coming from the dinning. My heart sinks as I realize that the Alpha Aiden is already awake and entertaining the Luna Laila.
I tried to make myself invisible as I head towards the kitchen. But I’m not fast enough.
“Ah, there she is,” Alpha Aiden said, a sly smile on his lips. “Come here”.
I had no choice but to do as he said. I walk into the dining room and tried to avoid making eye contact with either of them.
The Luna is sitting at the table, a cup of coffee in front of her. She was laughing at something the alpha had just said, and he’s sipping his own coffee with a smirk on his face.
I can see the way he’s looking at the Luna, the way his eyes roam over her body. It’s the same way he looked at me last night. I don’t know if he’s trying to hurt me more or whatever he’s trying to do, I can’t help it, to not work.
I felt a surge of jealousy and anger, which I did my best to suppress.
“Seems like you lost track of time and woke up late. But I’m letting it go because of yesterday’s incident, now go do some chores and help serve breakfast” he said as he went back to talking with the Luna without even sparing me a glance. I excused myself as I went to work.
I tried to push down my emotions and focus on chores and preparations of breakfast, But it was hard to ignore the way the Alpha was flirting with the Luna, right in front of me. I know I have to find a way out of here, before I become just another one of his conquests.
After they had their breakfast, Alpha Aiden still sat there and relaxed, while Luna Laila went upstairs.
ALPHA AIDEN’S POV :
As I enjoyed the look of Camille’s face in my mind when I flirted with Laila, it was all cut off when Lail stumbled down the stairs, tears streaming down her face. “I can’t find my jewelry!” she cried out. “It’s my most expensive piece and it’s gone!”
I stood up from where I was and went to meet her as my mum came down the stairs too, “What do you mean it’s gone? Where did you last see it?” I asked her.
“I don’t know,” Laila sobbed. “I wore it the day I came back from spending the night at my parents and then put it back in the jewelry box, but now it’s not there, I haven’t worn it ever since and I didn’t check my jewelry box”.
I took deep breaths as I tried to figure out what could have gone wrong “It’s okay, we’ll find it. When was the last time you saw it?”
“I’m not sure,” she sniffled. “I think it was when I took it off that morning before Camille helped with the feet massage and I didn’t use my jewelry since then”.
“Just relax, we will find it” my mother said as she tried calming her.
“It was a special gift from my mum” Laila said sadly.
“Let’s go check again, I’ll help you look” I offered. She nodded and together we searched the bedroom, going through drawers and looking under the bed. But the jewelry was nowhere to be found.
“I don’t understand,” Laila said, her voice laced with frustration. “I always put it in the same place. It’s like it just vanished.”
I furrowed my brow, deep in thought. “Could someone have taken it?”
“It’s only a stupid person that will steal from me, but why?” She cried out angrily.
“Wait, Camille was last seen with me that day. It was just she and I in the room” Laila explained, “could she have taken it?”.
I shook my head, “she might be everything else but I’m not sure she’s a theif Laila. She has been with us for years and nothing has gone missing”.
“You know she hates me right? Maybe she’s just trying to frustrate me. I dunno anymore” she sighed.
“Okay you know what, we will call everyone’s attention and ask if it was seen” I told her as we headed downstairs.
“Did you find it?” My mum ask as we got down.
“No we did not” I answered as I called everyone in the house to assemble, asking then if they saw it or took it and they will be forgiven but everyone said they hadn’t taken it.
“Your all dismissed, go back to your duty” I ordered as they all left but there is someone I need a sincere answer from, “Camille, you wait”.
