ALPHA AIDEN’S POV :
Following the vampire, he took as to a huge room where there was a table for meetings like this.
I asked the warriors who came with me to wait outside as only me and my Beta went into the room.
“Please sit” Lord Dimitri told us as he ordered his help to get us a glass of water, though we didn’t drink it as he didn’t push it.
“I invited you here to talk about tresspassing on my land or our land rather” he said.
“I see” I told him , looking straight at him.
As we sat across from each other at the negotiating table, Lord Dimitri and I could feel the tension between our two groups. We the vampires and werewolves had a long and complicated history, with many conflicts and misunderstandings between us.
However, both Lord Dimitri and I were determined to put aside our differences and work towards a resolution that would benefit both of our communities.
After much discussion and negotiation, we were able to come to an agreement. The vampires and werewolves would form a trespassing alliance, in which we would work together to prevent any unauthorized individuals from entering our lands and protection against unauthorized individuals when suitable.
In addition to this, we also agreed to establish a system for resolving disputes and conflicts that may arise between our two groups.
As we shook hands to seal the deal, I and Lord Dimitri couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. We had achieved something that many had thought was impossible – bringing the vampires and werewolves together in a peaceful and mutually beneficial partnership.
We knew that there would still be challenges and obstacles ahead, but we were confident that we could overcome them and build a strong and lasting alliance between our two communities.
As we walked towards our cars, because we brought two cars to fit all of us. I couldn’t shake the feeling of unease that lingered in the pit of my stomach.
I knew that forming an alliance with the vampires was the right thing to do, but it went against everything I had been taught as a werewolf.
We were supposed to be enemies, not allies.
But times had changed, and I knew that we needed to adapt to survive. I just hoped that this alliance wouldn’t come back to bite us in the end.
As I got into the car and the engine started, I made a mental note to keep a close eye on the vampires. I couldn’t afford to let my guard down, even for a second.
But for now, it was time to get back to the pack and report the news to the council of Elders.
The last time I had met two Elders from the council and now I’ll be meeting the whole council, the council wasn’t a large group just few numbers of Wise Elders.
I stood before the council of elders, a sense of accomplishment written on my face. “I have good news,” I began. “I have successfully negotiated an alliance with the vampires.”
The elders looked surprised but also pleased at this news. Alliances with other supernatural groups were rare, and this one had the potential to be very beneficial for their pack.
“We are glad to hear this,” the eldest of the elders said. “But we must also caution you to be careful.
We cannot let our guard down, even if an alliance has been made.”
I nodded in understanding. “I understand your concern,” I said. “But I assure you that the vampires have agreed to respect our territory though we will not let our guards down.
The council members looked at each other, considering this. “And what other terms have been agreed upon?” one of them asked.
“We have also agreed to come to each other’s aid in times of need, that’s to say protection from unauthorized individuals” I replied. “The vampires have offered us their assistance in keeping unauthorized persons from our land as we do same.
The council members nodded, seeming satisfied with this arrangement. “We will have to keep a close eye on this alliance and make sure that it is mutually beneficial,” the eldest said. “But overall, I believe it is a good thing for our pack.”
I smiled, relieved that the council approved of the alliance. I knew it would not be easy to maintain, but I was determined to make it a success. With the vampires as their allies, I knew that the future of the pack was looking bright.
“It is settled then” I said getting up as the council rose up too, giving a bow to me as I bowed as well and exited the place.
CAMILLE’S POV :
The day was nice and calm, no much chores. Miss Clara was getting ready to go see Ivy today and come back few days after, I told her I would love to come with her but I have to ask the Alpha first.
So we have been waiting for the Alpha to return since and the minute I saw him enter the house I rushed to meet him.
“Good day Alpha” I bowed and greeted softly. He stopped and looked at me.
“What do you want?” He asked me calmly. I don’t know if this is gonna work but I just have to try. I said as I tried calming myself.
“I would like to have a word with you Alpha. If that’s okay?” I asked hoping he would accept.
He nodded and asked me to follow him to his office, which I did.
“Sit” he said as he grabbed a sit not his own sit behind the disk but the line meant for like visitors and all. Taking a sit he sat in front of me , waiting for me to speak. So I cleared my throat as I started.
“Umm I wanted to ask for your permission to umm go with Miss Clara to see Ivy, we just got news that Ivy had given birth. I was hoping you would let me go?”.
