Adele’s POV
When I stepped out of Wayne’s car, a swarm of people met us in front of the building. Carrying flags with the words ‘Close! ‘Money! ‘
Wayne immediately opened the umbrella and gave it to me as the scorching sunlight struck my skin. I smiled as I glanced at him. “And what about you?” I even prick him in the side as if tickling him, but instead of laughing, he simply grabbed my hands to stop me. He stared straight at the people, so I did as well.
I approached an old man lying down while someone was watching over him. I also saw wheelchair users. I turned to Wayne. “Why are they even here?” He looked at me and sighed. As well as the people in front of me were already looking at me. They have pitiful eyes.
“They were the ones that suffered because of the empty capsules. They squandered their money since they took the medication and received nothing in return. They claimed that instead of getting better, they got worse because they waited too long to take the prescription.” Wayne started to me as he glanced at the line of people who had purchased the capsules, even though the sun was still blindingly bright.
“Are they all affected?” I sat down in front of the man in the wheelchair and held his hand. He is old and I can see the weakness. It is sad to think that amid their disabilities and illnesses, someone can still fool them. I took some money out of my pocket and handed it to him. “Hopefully it will help even just a little.” I was surprised because he hugged me suddenly and cried. Wayne, who was behind me, spoke.
“Not all of them were affected by what happened. Like I told you, some were just pretending, just to have money, even though they didn’t buy the capsules. The opponents of the supply company ordered others. We can’t say who. Who are they? That’s why I’m saying that the issue needs to be addressed immediately until their sales haven’t dropped yet. The money may have fallen but maybe it’s only 5%.” Wayne explained to me. I became more and more determined to do the idea that was on my mind.
“Help me get their attention. Even if we only have 20 people to listen to me.” I picked up a banner held by the man. “I’ll buy it with the marker. I’ll just do something.” The man stared at me curiously, but he just appeared to me as if waiting for me to put the money there. I rummaged in my pocket but remembered that I had no money left. What I gave the old man was the last money I had. The man was about to take the banner again when suddenly someone put money in his palm.
It’s Hugo. I was shocked, so I quickly backed away, but he just looked serious. It was as if he didn’t care what I did. But since I no longer had time to waste, I ran to Wayne’s car. I placed the banner in front of his car to write. I saw Wayne calling the people, but no one was listening to him. I’ve written three words that I’m sure I’ll get their attention.

“What’s that for?” Hugo came to my side to read what was written carefully. I don’t answer him because I’m busy highlighting what’s written. Because of the extreme heat, sweat was falling from my forehead. I closed my eyes tightly as sweat fell on my eyes. Because of the salt, I couldn’t help but feel the pain, but I was surprised by what Hugo did. He turned my face to him and wiped my eyes and sweat with the handkerchief he was carrying. I could smell his perfume there.
When I finished writing, I handed the end to him, and we went over with it in our hands. Because the banner is huge, what I wrote is instantly visible. I wasn’t mistaken, and they all turned to stare at me. The yelling decreased a little, and because Hugo was dressed up in a tuxedo, we were able to instantly draw attention to ourselves. I walked in front of people who were yelling. I also gestured for Wayne to walk over so that we could gain their full attention.
I raised my voice. Even though my voice was scratching my throat just so they could hear me. “I KNOW YOU’RE ALL VICTIM HERE. IF YOU ARE NOT A VICTIM, ANOTHER COMPANY WILL PROBABLY SENT YOU HERE TO START A COMMOTION.” The murmur grew louder, but I did not stop talking. “THERE ARE JUST THREE WORDS I WANT TO EXPLAIN TO YOU. JUST AS A KNOWLEDGE BUT BEFORE I DO THAT. LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF.” They fell silent and listened. “I AM ADELE BARROW. REPRESENTATIVE OF THE RXTRA GROUP.” The rumors are questioning what Rxtra is. If you are going to big parties, just mention the name of this company. Maybe you will be hit right away, but that’s different compared to just normal people.
“First of all, is the capsule. The capsule is the medicine given to you empty. This is also the reason why you are here today. Next is the supply and company. Hugo and I were silent. I also don’t know what to do. But suddenly Wayne spoke. “EVERYONE YOU WHO BRING A BANNER. PUT YOUR NAMES BEHIND IT AND GIVE THEM TO ME. THIS WILL BE THE PROOF OF OUR CONVERSATION. THAT WE HAVE AN AGREEMENT. PLEASE ALSO PUT YOUR CONTACT DETAILS SO WHEN THE PROBLEM IS RESOLVE, WE CAN CONTACT YOU IMMEDIATELY! ”
I was shocked since I hadn’t considered it. I believed what Wayne suggested wouldn’t work, but I was shocked when they dropped the flags they were holding and obeyed Wayne’s instructions because, to my astonishment, I hugged him and jumped for excitement. Hugo yanked me away from Wayne, and my enjoyment was interrupted short.
Wayne grinned and released me.
