I hugged Nancy and we headed towards home. On the way home I was convincing myself that it was all just a lie created by Justin.
I still remember how much my Dad loved my Mom, he would never cheat her.
He was the one who took early retirement to look after Mom when she was bedridden; he never hired any nurse for Mom and took her care personally for a whole year.
I still remember how he would never let go of my Mom’s any demand let it be big or small.
He always tells me their stories, how they got married, how he was scared when I was about to be born.
The car stopped in front of my house, but I didn’t move from my place. Nancy tapped on my shoulder and said “Owen we are here”
At that time I was pulled out of my thoughts, I came out and Zack was already waiting for me at the entrance.
He handed over the report to me, my hands were trembling before opening the report and I was praying that what Justin said should be a lie.
When I opened the file and read it, my heart missed it a bit. I had tears in my eyes but I was also very angry at him for how he could cheat on my Mom.
I took long strides and entered the living room, I asked our butler suppressing my anger “where is Dad?”
Butler bowed and said “Young Master he is in the study”
Owen’s POV
I was walking so fast, Nancy was almost running to catch me. She still wants me to calm down, she still doesn’t believe that my Dad could do something like that.
I didn’t knock on the door and rushed inside, and shouted angrily “Dad, how can you do this to Mom?”
He looked at me confused and said “Owen, what are you talking about son?”
I threw the file on the table in front of him and said: “how can you do this to Mom, how can you do this to Nancy?”
He picked up the file and read it. His face was still calm, after reading the file he just said “wait for me here” after that he went out of the study
He came back just in a few minutes and he passed me a photo. I was shocked to see that photo; it was my Mom and Nancy’s photo together and they were smiling.
When Nancy saw the photo she said “she is your Mom?”
I looked at her all confused and said: “you know her?”
She nodded and said “she was a very kind lady, she use to come to our orphanage, I was very close to her, and she always treated me like her own daughter”
I looked at Dad and asked, “what is going on here?”
My Dad smiled and said “Owen, this photo was given to me by your Mom just before her death, she wanted you to marry Nancy, but her condition was not good at all, so she took a promise from me that you should marry Nancy only”
She told me Nancy is the right girl for you.
After her death I started looking for Nancy, because of her illness she forgot the orphanage’s name.
I thought of telling you everything but, you already had too much on your plate, loss of your Mom had shaken you and I also took early retirement so I thought not to burden you and look for Nancy.
Your Mom was associated with many orphanages so it took me a long time to find the orphanage where Nancy was, but by the time I reached that orphanage Nancy had left the orphanage and moved out and they didn’t have her new address.
On that day when I was coming out of the office of the orphanage, I bumped into Justin and this photo fell from my hands.
He looked at the photo and said that he knows Nancy, she is his friend.
I was very happy that I could finally meet Nancy and fulfill your mother’s last wish.
I wanted to talk to Nancy alone, I didn’t tell him the purpose but he said he can arrange the meeting but I need to give him 5 million as security money.

The next day when I confronted Justin he accused me saying that I mistreated Nancy. I thought that he was just playing around for money, he didn’t know Nancy. So I left that matter.
I was looking for Nancy all these years. One day when I saw her in the hospital I was so happy, after meeting her I understood why your Mom liked her so much.
I didn’t even mind that she already had a daughter; I felt that I had an unknown connection with Angie.
I thought I would play cupid for you both and so I invited her for lunch, but when I saw you both talking and heard your conversation I just smiled thinking that my roll was done here.
I had never seen Owen getting head over heels for a girl and I knew that he was already in love with Nancy so I left it there.

I was stunned hearing what Dad said for a few moments I was not able to believe it or you may say digest it.
