I slowly pulled her in my arms and heard her saying “Owen I really love you, please don’t leave me”
I smiled at her words but she started crying in her sleep. I tried to wake her up after that she woke up and started rubbing her eyes as if she did not believe her eyes.
When she told me about her pregnancy, I can’t say what I felt at that time. I was not able to believe that my love was carrying my child. It was one of the happiest moments of my life.
Now I felt a double responsibility to save her and my child.
As we stood from our place Justin entered the room with a gun.
His eyes were red because of anger. He said “Nancy, come to me, you know how much I love you”
I felt Nancy hiding behind me. I tried to talk sense to Justin “Justin listen if you really love her, then you should not hurt her”
He was angry and he shouted at me “you, you just leave it, you don’t know what I have done to get back my Nancy, I was the one who planned accident of Chris so that Nancy could come back”
I can feel Nancy’s hand tightening on my arms.
Justin continued “Nancy, my princess you know, I really regretted what I did that year and I went to look for you but I was not able to find you”
After four years I accidentally saw Chris one day, I knew you can leave everything but you will not leave Chris, so I planned his accident thinking that you would come back, but before you came back to the city someone abducted me”
I can feel how surprised and angry Nancy was feeling, she came in front of me from behind and said “you planned Chris’s accident, how could you do that Justin? How can you harm people for your benefit?”
He replied “princess, I just wanted you to come back to me and that was the only way which I was able to see, but my plan failed because someone abducted me”
I asked him “who abducted you Justin, or you are just lying? To get Nancy’s sympathy”
He looked angrily at me and said “you think I would if I was not abducted you really think I will let Nancy close to you”
Nancy again asked him “why would anyone abduct you? You are just trying to cover your sins”
He replied “princess, I really don’t know who it was”
And there came a heavy and familiar voice “I was the one who abducted you”
It was Malcolm and we were surrounded by his men.
I was having a lot of questions together “how did he know Justin? Why would he abduct Justin? If he already knew Justin then why didn’t he tell us?”
Malcolm walked to us and his men held Justin, taking away his gun.
It became more surprising when Justin said “who are you and why did you abduct me?
At first, I thought they must be old acquaintances, but even if Justin doesn’t know Malcolm then why did he kidnap him?
Owen’s POV
After Justin asked Malcolm, about the reason for abducting him, Malcolm first made sure that his men tied Justin with a pillar.
And said “you don’t know me, neither do me, but when I got to know about Chris’s accident I came here and it’s just that I was not able to accept that it was a normal accident after I met to the police officers”
“When I saw the picture of the incident, I was sure that it was a planned accident. So I started the investigation and we reached to you”
“At first I thought to hand you over to police, but I had a feeling that you might deceive them just like you did for the accident”
“So I abducted you and my men tortured you to know the reason but you never spoke”
“I don’t know you, but I have very few trustworthy and loving people in my life and you messed with them”
“You should not have touched Chris”
I and Nancy were listening, I asked “Malcolm how did you know we are here?”
He turned towards us and said “I just felt like meeting with Angie today so I went to your home and there uncle told me everything”
“I just got your location by tracing your phone, but I didn’t expect that here I will meet someone whom I am looking from last one month”
As Malcolm finished his statement we saw police officers coming towards us.
They untied Justin and started dragging him out of the house, but he started laughing and said “Malcolm, you don’t have any proof against me, I will be out soon”
Malcolm sneered at him and said “you think all these months I did nothing” after that he turned at the officer and said “officer, proofs against his all wrongdoings have reached to your office”
Justin looked at Nancy and said “princess, I will be back soon, they don’t deserve you, he is a liar, whom you trust so much and calls Dad, he is the person who purchased you that night”
I went to him in long strides and punched and said “stop spouting nonsense, my dad would never do that”
He scoffed and said “if you don’t believe me then go and check the money transactions, you will know it, he was the one who gave me 5 million to spend a night with Nancy”
I punched on his face again but Nancy came and dragged me and said “Owen, I don’t believe him, he is just lying”
Justin was dragged by the police officers but shouted angrily “if you think I am lying just go and check my account, Nancy I never used that money. After I lost you, I realized that money was useless without you”
I was not able to believe what he just said, so I asked Zack to investigate his account and hand over the reports to me at home.
