He is looking so good. I don’t know whether I saw him after so many days. That’s why I am feeling this but I cannot stop myself from looking at him. His jaw lines are sharp, his pointed nose, and his fair skin.
Today I am feeling like I am observing him closely for the first time. Looking at him also the scene of him kissing Kara came to my mind and I asked him coldly “What are you doing here?”
He turned and said while trying to smile “you are awake! See I have cooked food for you” I continued with my question avoiding his reply “I said why are you here? Leave my place I don’t want to see you here”
He walked towards the dining table and said “Nancy! I will leave, you have your food first and I am here to talk about something very important, so please listen to me once”
I could feel the pain and his pleading tone and I was not able to stop myself and nodded positively and sat on one chair of the dining table. It’s just that I don’t want to regret in future that I didn’t give him a chance to explain himself
I said “tell me what you want to say? I am listening” while sitting in a chair. He sat on the next chair to me and started serving food and said “I will tell, what I want to but first you have to eat this, the doctor said that you are very weak”
Before I could say anything he put a spoon full of food in front of my mouth. At first, I didn’t want it but again my heart won against my brain and opened my mouth and ate it.
He fed me till I was full, but still, he was not ready to stop. I told him I am full but he kept on saying “you are so weak, you should eat more”
After a time I stood up from the chair and said “I can’t eat more” He smiled and started to clean the table I told him “no, need to do that, you can tell me for what you are here and leave” after saying I felt pain in my heart for being rude to him but I don’t have any other option.
Owen’s POV
When I took her to the hospital, the doctor said that she is very weak”. It hurt my heart. It was all because of me that she is not taking care of her. They infused two glucose bottles and discharged her. She was unconscious all the time. I brought her to her place and made her sleep in her room and started cooking for her.
After I was almost done I heard her voice “what are you doing here?” I was expecting it so I didn’t bother much and continued to set the dining table. Yes, I wanted to tell her everything today but only after she eats her food.
Owen’s POV
After making her eat her food, I made her eat and then we both sat on the sofa and she said ‘tell me what you want to tell me?’
I gathered some courage and said “I…. I …wan.. wanted” I was fumbling for the first time in my life I was struggling with words. “I… wanted to talk to you about the incident four years ago that happened with you”
Before I could finish my statement I felt her full body getting stiff on the name of ‘incident four years ago’ still she composed herself and asked with a shaking voice “ho.. how…. how do you know about it?”
I can see her trembling hands and reply to her question “I will tell you everything, basically when I saw you for the first time I wanted you and I don’t know how slowly you became my obsession. I tried to investigate your past but didn’t get any information. So …so when we were on my Iceland I did a hypnosis session on you”
She got furious and said, “how can you do this, who gave you the right to enter in my personal space?” I replied “I know I was wrong but I was very much curious because of the way you react to any men’s touch, and on that day I got to know everything”
After that I was not able to continue. She was looking at my face waiting for me to continue but I was at a loss of words. She said “so that’s why you left me there all alone because you felt I am filthy”
I angrily cut her off and said “no, not at all” “then what was the reason for you to leave me alone on your Iceland” she questioned.
“It…. It was me” she looked at me and said “what, are you trying to say?” “It was me who raped you that night” after I said this I felt like she turned into a statue. I went on my knees and held her hands and continued “Nancy please listen to me ..” she cut me off “so you were the one whom Justin sold me?” I can feel the coldness in her voice.
I replied “no, never I don’t know who Justin is, Nancy please listen to me that night even though I was framed by Kara and her Dad, they drugged me. I was not in my senses when I did that to you, Nancy I had made a promise to my Mom that I would never force any girl to anything and I never did and if I knew it earlier I would have taken care of it” she cut me off “by marrying me, so that was the reason you married me”
“Never, I married you because I loved you” I replied, “if you loved me then why did you cheat on me with Kara why you didn’t touch me even after we were married?”
