Kara worked in the studio for the morning. During lunchtime, she took a taxi to Boa’s kindergarten.
Boa’s kindergarten was an international foreign language school with good basic facilities. Only the parents of the children and people with the student card could enter the school.
Kara stood outside the door and came out with an idea. She said to the security guard that she just wanted to see Boa and say a few words.
The security guard saw that Kara was beautiful and had a very good attitude, so he didn’t think much about it and told Boa’s teacher.
After hearing that Anna’s friend came to find Boa, the teacher took Boa to the gate.
Boa followed her teacher with a blank expression on her face. She did not know which friend of her mother would come to see her.
When she raised her head, she saw Kara.
She was so scared that her face turned pale and she hugged her teacher tightly.
“Boa, what’s wrong with you?” The teacher was puzzled.
Boa said in a tearful voice, “Teacher, I have a stomachache. I want to go home.”
Kara was not surprised to hear Boa’s words. She stood outside the gate and smiled at Boa.
“Boa, I found the story in the attic you told me last time very interesting. Where did you hear it from?”
“What are you talking about? I don’t understand at all.”
Boa played dumb and hugged her teacher nervously, flustered.
The teacher stared at Kara and sized her up. She was in light brown sports suits, and she was carrying a school bag in her hand. It was obvious that she was also a student.
Kara blinked and gave a smile.
“Miss, you said you are a friend of Boa’s mother. Why are you here?”
Kara said with a smile, “A few days ago, Boa told me an interesting story. I want to know the ending, so I came over and asked her.”
Boa thought that Kara had a plan to harm her, so she immediately retorted, “I didn’t tell you a story. You are talking nonsense.”
Kara raised her eyebrows and smiled at Boa.
“Boa, it doesn’t matter that you forget it. I will repeat it to you.” Kara’s tone was very soft as if she was telling a fairy tale.
“A long time ago, a little girl was lost. A woman passed by and saved the pitiful girl. The woman originally wanted to take the little girl to find her mother. The little girl’s mother was also trying hard to find the little girl.”
“Seeing the woman holding the little girl’s hand, the little girl’s mother rudely brought the woman to the police station, saying that the woman wanted to kidnap the little girl. The little girl was timid and did not explain, so the little girl’s mother insisted on letting the woman be in jail.”
“Fortunately, the woman’s friend had evidence and proved the innocence of the woman. Therefore, the little girl’s mother was in jail to reflect on herself.”
“The second time, the little girl met the woman and said that she couldn’t find her ball, so she asked the woman for help.”
“The woman agreed to the little girl’s request and helped the little girl find the ball, but the little girl pushed the woman into a small room with a female ghost.”
“The woman was almost killed by the ghost in the room. Fortunately, the woman’s friend came to save her. Boa, do you remember this story?”
Kara did not blame Boa at all. This was a fairy tale story that made Boa recognize a fact.
Boa understood Kara’s story. The little girl in the story was herself, and the kind woman was Kara.
Although Boa was young, she had heard many fairy tales and felt that she had done something wrong.
But everything she did was to save her mother. If her mother had not been in jail because of this woman, she would not have harmed this woman.
Seeing that Boa was frowning and staring at her nervously, Kara was not anxious.
“Boa, this story is not over yet. Let me guess the ending.”
Boa was puzzled. Many fairy tales had happy endings.
Boa thought, ‘In this ending, the woman should leave forever, and the little girl’s mother will come out of the prison to reunite with the little girl.’
‘Aunt Jenny has said that my mother will be able to come out of the prison soon.’
‘Aunt Jenny tells me what to do. If someone comes to ask me, I can answer that I don’t know anything. Then, no one will come to me.’
‘But she is a little different from what Aunt Jenny said. She just stands here and tells stories. What should I do?’
Kara continued, “The little girl’s mother would come out of the prison.”
Kara observed Boa’s expression. After saying this, she saw Boa giving a smile.
She continued, “However, the woman was angry and pushed the little girl’s mother to the small room with a female ghost to take revenge.”
“The female ghost had long, long nails, and sharp teeth, she would bite off a person’s neck easily.”
“Do you still remember the two friends of the woman? They can let the little girl’s mother go to prison, and naturally can push her into the small room.”
“When the little girl’s mother entered the small room, she would hate the little girl and hate why the little girl wanted to harm others. If her daughter did not do anything bad, then she would not be killed by that ghost!”
“Boa, do you want this kind of ending?”
“No!”
As soon as Boa thought that the ghost would bite off her mother’s neck, she screamed in horror.
Kara asked loudly, “Boa, I don’t want this kind of ending. Then who told the little girl to push the kind woman into the small room?”
Kara spoke quickly.
“I don’t want to do that.”
As a five-year-old girl, the psychological pressure Boa could bear was limited, and she panicked.
“If you don’t want to, then who wants to do that? Who wants you to do that? Who is determined to tell you to do that?” Kara’s tone became a little faster.
“It’s Aunt Jenny. Aunt Jenny said that if you are locked up in a small room, my mom can leave the prison!”
Boa’s forehead was covered in sweat, and the words in her mind were spat out.
By the time she realized that it was wrong to say this, it was too late. She covered her mouth in surprise and stared at Kara in fear.
“I don’t want my mother to go to the small room. Miss, don’t lock my mother up.”
The teacher heard a story from Kara, and then Boa cried, thinking that it was Kara who told the ghost story that scared Boa.
“Miss, you have scared Boa.”
Kara had a bright smile on her face and thought, ‘how could I know the truth if Boa is not scared?’
The person who wanted to harm her was too shameless, even using a five-year-old child.
Therefore, Kara had used the skills commonly used by lawyers to deliberately speed up her words to force Boa.
If Boa was flustered, she would tell the truth.
“Sorry, this story was told to me by Boa two days ago, so I want to know the ending. Since Boa has said the ending, then I am satisfied.”
Kara apologized to the teacher and left.
However, when Boa thought that her mother would be killed by the female ghost, she was afraid that this would become reality, so she asked her teacher to stop Kara from leaving.
But when the teacher took Boa out of the school gate, Kara had left the school and returned to the studio by taxi.
Boa said her aunt told her to do that. As long as Kara investigated Anna’s sisters, she would know who did it.
