The car pulled into a very big mansion catching me off guard, I wanted to climb down the car but he caught me off when he carried me out of the car,
I wanted to protest, but for some unknown reason I found myself blushing and hiding my face in his chest. I could hear a series of greetings from his guards and maid but I dared not raise my head up.
Many questions were popping up in my head already like
“What does he do for a living?”
“How can someone be so fucking rich?”
I felt him dropping me on something soft, I look down to see its a couch, looking around a scream nearly tore from my mouth on seeing the interior decoration of this building
“This is parading” I muttered not knowing I was loud
“You like it!” He asks me to clear my throat and adjust on my seat.
I cleared my throat, I have a lot of questions I want to ask him this time around
“Why didn’t you show up after what happened?” I ask folding my two hands below my boobs
“Leave us….” He authoritatively said to his guards, the next minute the living room is already empty with only the both of us in it.
I watched as he sat on the sofa next to mine as he focused all his attention on me.
“And what were you saying?” He asks with a smirk playing at the corner of his lips
“Fuck how can someone be so annoying cute” I fume in anger looking away
“I’m Nicklaus Baldwin,” He said making me pee on my pant,
“You…. you…you are who?” I ask adjusting on my seat,
“Who doesn’t know Nicklaus Baldwin?” I ask myself, that name alone rings a bell.
He’s the wealthiest man in Newyork plus other places,
“Ashley Brooklyn right?” He asks making my eyes snap towards him
“How do you know my name?”
“I have my ways kitten,” He said winking at me, I sighed
“You have my child”
“What!!!!” I screamed
“Are you stalking me?”
He ignored me, instead, he pulled out a paper from his suit pocket and slammed it on the table
“Have a look” He said gesturing to the papers, I look at them awkwardly before picking them up
“What’s this?” I ask in anger throwing back the papers at him and standing up immediately
“I’m not doing this,” I said turning away from him
”You have no choice, I need to have custody of my child” He said like he cared less making me wonder if he’s the same man that adored me that night
“What do you mean by marriage followed by rules, I refuse to leave under any rules”
“You have no choice,” He said coming close to me, he bent toward my ear level and whispered
“We can go to court but you know you can’t win against me”
He pulled back and straighten his suit making me glare dangerously at him
“Are you ready to hear the rules?”
“What are there?” I ask and watch him smirk
“1…. Don’t expect any love from me in this marriage as we are only in it because of my child”
My eyes snap towards him in anger but he raises his eyebrows at me daring me to talk
“2…I can have sex with you where or whenever I want”
“But….” I meant to talk but he ignored me
“3…I can have as many women I want I owe you no explanation”
“4…You don’t dare date any man”
“I refuse,” I said pacing around the living room
“Trust me kitten you haven’t heard the last”
“Which is…?” I ask my heartbeat doing a marathon
“5…You are leaving after having my baby”
I couldn’t take it anymore, why do people with so much power think they can stump on our feet all the time and get away with it,
“I won’t allow that Mr. Baldwin, you can’t deny me the joy of seeing my baby”
I was still talking when a guy walked in, I guess he’s his friend, seeing the way they shook hands, the guy smiled at me but I wasn’t in the mood for smiles
Nicklaus made to step out with his friend when I spoke up
“I still recuse with your last request”
I watch him turn and look at me in a sarcastic manner
“Are you that desperate to get married to me?”
“I won’t have you insult me, Mr. Baldwin, how can you say that in front of your friend”
“Are you ashamed or should I let him know how you sell your body for money too”
“Don’t you fucking judge me” I whispered slowly with tears brimming my eyes
“Come on bro that’s enough,” His friend said to him, I couldn’t take it anymore I slumped down on the couch.
“Know your limits, I hate it when low bitches like you try to will yourself in” And with that, he walked out, I could see his friend look at me with pity from the corner of his eyes before he left
I look at the contract and sighed, I took a pen from the table and signed them…I know one thing for sure I’m not leaving my baby for him, I will find a way out before I put to bed
I was tired, my hopes were shattered, I thought he was better, I thought I was finally loved that night, he adored me like I’m some kind of treasure, I must have been a fool to fall helplessly in love with him after that night
“Is this how he handles his other one-night stand?” I ask myself
“Damn Ashley, you must have been a fool”
I don’t know for how long I sat there, watching the maids come in and left maybe to get one thing or the other, I wonder if he leaves alone in this big mansion
“Come on kitten let’s get you to your room” I heard his voice and turn to see him coming in
“How does he manage to switch moods?” I ask my inner mind, the next minute he’s being romantic and the next he’s been harsh
“Ermmm.. where will I be sleeping?” I ask when we entered a typical men’s room
“This our room now,” He said walking fully into the room
“Ohh okay” I blush
“I have a question …” He said facing me
“What?” I ask calmly
“Must you strip to earn money?”
“What do you mean?”
“You disgust me, fuck” He hisses and pushes me out of the way as he walks out, I count take it…I allowed my tears to flow
