She’s the Contraceptive Girl

Book:She's A Slut, He's A Player Published:2024-5-1

Alexander POV
I heard the door opened and closes after I asked her to come in. I didn’t look up, my eyes were glued to the content of the program on my table. Gosh!.. A lot on my neck!
“Good morning, sir” She greeted politely, and I just gave a nod, still not looking up.
“Yeah, morning, so you’re here to…” I trailed off as soon as I recognized the face.
What?
Was I imagining things?
No, no, of course this was real!
She was the same contraceptive girl.
She was the only slut I ever recognized.
Had she resigned as a prostitute?
I gulped down nothing and opened my mouth to talk again.
“You…” I couldn’t complete my sentence again, and she slowly looked at my face, and her eyes bulged immediately her eyes came in contact with mine.
We held each other’s gazes, she was not breaking the eyes contact, neither was I.
After what seems like forever, I unlocked my gaze from hers and let out a discreet cough.
This would be so much fun!
“Sit” I ordered while I adjusted on my seat.
She sat down reluctantly, and I could tell her eyes were still on me.
“Sorry about that, you really look like someone I have seen before” I leaned on the table, “Have we by chance met before, perhaps in a hotel or clubhouse?” I asked with a sly smile, and I watched as she became uneasy, avoiding my gaze at all costs.
“Uh mm… I guess I was mistaken then, now let’s get to business,” I began, sounding professional.
“Your name again?”
“Kiara” She answered sharply, with her eyes fixed to the table.
“Do you have any previous experience of this type of work?” I inquired, leaning back on the swivel chair with my both arms crossed to my chest. I watched her face as she sought for what to say.
“I supposed you weren’t prepared enough for this interview,” I sneered.
She took her eyes to my face and sighed before talking,”I was really prepared sir, but… ” I chipped in, “but you saw what you weren’t expecting?” Her face held a gloomy expression immediately, and I almost applaud myself.
“Anyway, the job is yours already, we’ve gone through your qualifications and experience before giving our approval. I just wanted to have an interview with you to confirm if you’re really worthy of the job,”
I paused and our eyes locked again.
“Your job starts on Monday, so you may leave now, further information would be sent to your mail” She nodded and got on her feet quickly.
“Thank you, sir” She said softly with a bow before turning around to leave.
I watched her back as she walked to the door. “One more thing” I spoke up, as soon as she twisted the doorknob. She tilted her head back before turning around completely.
“I do not tolerate lateness, the reason I needed a personal assistant was because the pressure on my personal secretary lately is quite much,” I explained while standing up.
With my both hands in my trouser pocket, I walked to where she was standing at the door. “So if you really want this job, ensure you don’t defy my words,” I said in a cold voice, staring down at her face.
She was not saying anything, and I think our closeness had rendered her speechless. “Do you understand, Miss Kiara?” I sneered, lifting my brows at the same time. She quickly averted her eyes from my face and gulped before nodding her head. “Yes sir” She responded.
“Good”
“See you on Monday then” I said, walking back to my seat.
After she had gone, I sat on my seat and released a gigantic sigh. Gosh!
What was that?
I shut my eyes and breathe out again.

Granny POV
“Are you sure we’re in the right house?” I asked the head maid as soon as I got down from the car. The driver had driven forward to park the car properly.
“Yes granny” She answered as she took my handbag from me.
“Alright then, let’s go,”
We both stood at the gate and I knocked on it myself. “Coming” A male voice says from inside and the gate opened afterwards.
“Good afternoon, sir,” I greeted the not too old man, amiably. “Afternoon ma’am, please how may I help you?” He asked, looking from my face to the head maid’s face at my back.
“Uh mm… Is this where Amelia lives?” I inquired, and he furrowed his face before speaking up. “And who are you, by the way?” He asked, curiously. “Actually, two weeks ago, she ran into my car rather I ran into her. So, I’m here to see how she’s faring, please does she stay here?”
“Oh, it was you, ma’am?” He smiles and I just nodded. “Please come in” He paved a way for us to enter, and I walked into the compound, with the head maid behind me.
We followed behind him as we approached the main building. The environment looks neat and tidy… Interesting.
The gatekeeper made to knock on the door as soon as we got there, but a crashing sound came from inside, causing his fist to hung at halfway. He looked at my face before knocking on the door, quickly. I shared a short glance with the head maid, and she just shrugged.
“Just come in!” A woman voice yelled, and the gatekeeper walked in, gesturing us to follow him. The first person my gaze stopped at was Amelia, blood was oozing out from her forehead and she was looking down at her feet, unknown of my presence.
“Who are you?” The woman stood up and asked, sounding unfriendly, and it was then, Amelia looked up. I could tell she was quite stunned with the way she was staring at me.
I slowly walked up to her figure. “What happened to you, my dear, why is blood gushing from your forehead like this?” I asked her tenderly while I cleaned the liquid on her face with the handkerchief I was holding. She didn’t say anything as she kept sobbing. I held her shoulder.” Tell me something, dear, do you want to go to the hospital?”
“And who the heck are you to hold my daughter like that?” The woman shouted, and I blinked twice before raising my head to look at her.
“Your daughter?” I asked, dimly. I gave Amelia the handkerchief and began to move closer to her. “Yes, Amelia is my daughter, and whom might you be?” She asked, harshly.
“You just said Amelia is your daughter, and you sat there watching blood oozes from her head, are you crazy?” I chided and she just huffed. “And where on earth did you find this old witch, Amelia?” She turned to Amelia and asked, sarcastically, “She’s…not a witch… Mom” Amelia stuttered, sniffing.
“Will you answer my question, or you want me to add to that wound on your forehead?” She barked and I swiftly turned to Amelia.
“She did this to you?” I asked her, not believing my ears. She didn’t say anything, and I became more furious.
“Just answer the question, Amelia, was she the one that hurt you?” The gatekeeper butts in, and she just gave a nod.
Oh my goodness!
“Tell me something, she’s not your real mother, isn’t it?” I asked her, fuming.
“Will you get out of my house, you old witch!”
“If she’s not my daughter, how does that concern you?” She snarled. I looked to the head maid direction and beckoned her to bring my cellphone from my handbag.
“I’m getting you arrested right away, you mad woman!” I shouted and she flinched as her eyes bulged.
“Where were you born, how could you hit your own daughter?” I fired, but she just stared at me, speechlessly. The maid was now standing closer, stretching forth my cellphone. I collected it and started scrolling the screen, I was about to dial Alexander’s number when Amelia suddenly went on her knees.
“Please granny, don’t get my mom arrested, it was not intentional “She plea, tearfully. I scoffed. “Will you get up now and stop calling this woman your mother,” I scolded. “Fine, if you don’t want me to get her arrested, then you’re coming with me this instant,” I told her sternly, and she slowly got on her feet.
“Granny?” She called with dilated eyes, and I just smiled lovingly at her. “I think that would be better, young lady,” I held her hand and says.
“Yes ma’am, yes!” The gatekeeper shrieked, happily, and I smiled at him.
