Anna felt safe and secure at her home. Being at home gave her peace, comfort, and harmony. It was her private time to unwind, relieve any stress, and relax.
She needed it after all the stress and hysteria that she experienced. Who knew going to work was going to be dangerous? That was what she asked.
Still could not believe she received death threats. She thought those only existed in crime shows and movies. It felt like a nightmare to her, she never been this scared for her life.
Anna still did not know who sent those death threats or was who behind them. The only somewhat clue she had was that her co-workers despised her. Gave her the stank eye and not caring about her safety or well being.
Never thought she would be treated this way at work. She was not expecting to be liked by some people, but having everyone hate on you was concerning. She did not want to believe that her employees were the ones who sent those disgraceful and vile death threats messages. But judging by the nasty looks and treatment she had been receiving, she would not be surprised if her employees were plotting on her.
Anna had to leave work and go back home for her own safety. It was ridiculous that she was not safe at work, since she loved working for Allen. She felt bad for not telling Allen the truth and left so suddenly. But she did not want to make him worry and put any more pressure on him. Being a boss at any company was never easy, but adding drama to the mix was a recipe for disaster. She did not want him to fear for his life just in case someone tried to harm him or ruin his company by being associated with her.
All this overthinking was tiring her out. It was only two in the afternoon on a Wednesday. She could be doing a lot of things like play basketball or catch up on the latest TV shows and movies. But all she wanted was to rest her eyes. Her body and mind needed a break from all the bullshit.

“I can’t believe that stupid slut bitch still worked for Allen’s company. I thought those messages would drive her away.” Evelyn cursed out.
“Right now, she was not at work today.” Lance said.
“Where is she then?” She asked.
“At home” Marcus said, he was one of her goons that worked for her and wrote one of the nasty death threats.
Evelyn was plotting in her head on what to do with Anna. She loathed her and wanted her gone forever. Could not believe she was constantly sucking and fucking the boss. Anna was getting paid more and getting special treatment than all of the employees at McArthur’s. It infuriated her since she wanted to be in Anna’s position. She wanted to be fucked and loved by Allen. Also, she wanted to make a lot of money. She was making a lot of money, but she wanted more. It hurts that Anna was receiving all the love and attention from Allen but not her.
She was ready to lay her hands on her and give her the beating of a lifetime or better yet, death of a lifetime. It gotten so bad for Evelyn that she wanted Anna dead and gone. She did not want to ever think about, hear, or see Anna for the rest of her life.
“I got a great plan that all of you guys can not refuse.” She said with a sick smile.
“What is the plan, boss?” Marcus asked. Even though Evelyn did not own or created anything in her life, the men she hired as her goons called her boss. She loved the feeling of being called a boss and being a boss. That was one of the many reasons on why she wanted to work for McArthur’s, so that she could take over Allen’s position and be the boss of the entire company. She wanted to make millions and billions of dollars. But Anna was hindering her from reaching her goals. Anna was driving her mad every time she thought about her. But she will put an end to her.
“I want all of you to sneak in to her house and abduct her.” She revealed to them.
“After we do that, what do we do next?” Jason, another one of her goons asked.
“You bring her safe and sound to me. I will take real good care of her once and for all.” She said.
“What are we going to use to disguise ourselves? How are we going to kidnap her with any one of her neighbors noticing?” Thomas asked. Evelyn was starting to get annoyed with her goons questioning her.
“Use a ski mask and gloves to hide your identities. Plus, I doubt her neighbors would care about what was happening in her house. No one cares about Anna and her worthless pathetic slutty little life.” She explained and vented.
“What time should we strike?” Marcus asked.
“At night, when everyone is asleep and there are no witnesses in sight.” She said. “If she screams or tries to call for help, sedate her with a cloth that has supplements to make people fall asleep fast. Like I said, do not hurt her or kill her. Let me do all the punishment and killing, while you guys worry about the abduction. Do I make myself clear?”
“Yes, ma’am!” All three of her goons said in unison. She can not wait to see Anna suffer. All this plotting was making her feel happy. She never felt this happy in a while. Hopefully, her plan executes well. She did not want nothing terrible to go wrong. She did not want to get caught, going to prison would not be a good place for her. All she wanted was to live a successful life and career. No one especially Anna was going to stop her from succeeding.

Anna woke up from her nap. She rarely took naps as it made her feel even more tired and groggy. Also, taking naps made it harder for her to sleep regularly during the night time.
She checked her phone to see what it was. The time was past eleven at night, which shocked her. The last time she was awake was at two in the afternoon, that meant she was asleep for eight hours.
Anna was not complaining about that because she needed a long rest after the bullshit and foolishness she faced at work. Right now, she never felt better before. But her stomach was growling and rumbling. She only ate breakfast and lunch today, but she did not have the time to eat dinner. She would have ordered food online, but most of the good places were closed and she did not feel like wasting money.
She got off from her bed and went to kitchen to see what she could cook and eat for dinner. Eating at that time was late, but after having an eight hour nap, she needed at least something in her stomach. Just in case she decided to fall asleep again, she needed one last thing to eat.
She looked at her fridge to see what type of food she cook. There was steak, Chicken, and salad. Which gave a perfect idea to make a steak and chicken salad. It did not take long to cook up a steak and chicken. All she needed to do with the salad was wash it. So she grabbed all those items from the fridge and get two clean pans and a bowl for the salad. She also grabbed the oil and spices for the chicken and steak. She could not wait to devour the masterpiece she was going to make.
Outside of her house, the goons were parked across from her. Marcus and Jason were watching to see if anyone noticed them, while Thomas was waiting to see if it was safe to strike.
“Is everything clear?” Thomas asked, waiting patiently.
“Yes, everything is clear!” Marcus told him. Thomas and the other two goons put on their ski masks. They did not bring any weapons besides the cloth that will make her pass out immediately. Thomas wanted to follow Evelyn’s rule by not hurting or killing her. Thomas got of the car and they sneaked their way to Evelyn’s house, double checking to see if anyone was watching them.
“How are we going to get into her house? We don’t know if she has an alarm system.” Jason asked.
“Let’s do it the old fashioned way and ring on the doorbell.” Thomas said. He went up to her doorstep, rang her doorbell.
Anna was in the middle of cooking when she heard a ring on her door. She was wondering who would be at her door during these late night hours. She went to her door, checked the windows to see who was there and there was no one in sight. She opened the door, all of a sudden a hand covered her mouth. She was trying her hardest to fight and escape, but her body was feeling drowsy and then, everything went dark for her.
Marcus and Lance were thrilled to know how quick and easy it was to capture Anna. Evelyn was going to be happy and give them a fat paycheck. But their party got ruined once a bunch of police officers surrounded Anna’s house.
“Freeze and let go of the woman before we shoot!” One of the officers shouted. They were caught red handed.
