“I’d like to have a cup of cappuccino and a plate of spaghetti bolognese and water please.” Anna said to the waiter. Her eyes were a shades of black, as she had dark circles around, her white skin tone even made it obvious that her face was sunken.
While the waiter went to bring her order, Anna place her elbow on the table and rested her face on it, lost in thoughts and not paying much attention to her environment.
Evelyn entered the restaurant, wearing a bum short and crop shirt, similar to what Anna was wearing, only that Anna wore a big shirt over her shorts.
Evelyn noticed Anna sitting all by herself, she smirked and went over to where she was, her smile was fake, Anna looked and eyed her.
“I’m so sorry about you and Allen.” Evelyn started, feigning concern, Anna didn’t say anything.
“I know it’s hard for you,” Evelyn continued, “believe me,” she nodded in agreement with herself, “I know how it feels to be heartbroken.”
Anna quirked a brow at her, confused at what Evelyn was saying, she chuckled lightly and stretched her hand so blood could circulate, Anna waved a hand in front Evelyn.
“Hello! Are you talking to me?”
“Yes baby girl, I wanna look out for you, let me.”
“Last time I checked, I didn’t ask for help, from anyone including you.” Anna deadpanned.
“I know you and Allen had something and I’m sorry..”
“Sorry that what Eve? That you had Beatrice and Thomas lied against me, that you had people at the office come up with false accusations and because of your actions and their stupidity and greediness it cost them their jobs and here you are saying you wanna look out for me.”
“Anna… you’re yelling.”
“Then leave me the fuck alone, mahn, you a bitch.”  Anna shakes her head and drummed her fingers on the table, trying to cool down.
“I’m really sorry, I am. I didn’t know what I was thinking to be honest, I just wanted him for myself and now that I have realized he doesn’t want me but you, let me help you both get back together.” Evelyn said.
“I appreciate the offer but no, thanks.” Anna said, sternly.
Evelyn sighed, this wasn’t how she wanted the conversation to go, this wasn’t how she played it in her head, she needed to re-strategize and it has to be now, this instant.
“Anna,” She said reaching out to hold her hands, she sniffles and wiped her face, “I know I messed up and it shouldn’t have to been you to be hurt, you were nice to me, always and…” Evelyn cried.
Anna exhaled and held her hand back, “it’s okay Eve, some people aren’t just meant to be together.” For a second she wanted to believe Evelyn but her mind told her otherwise.
For someone to go as far as doing what Evelyn did and still forgives her which is quite alright but believing that she would be a good person, is a no-no, Anna could tell there was a motive behind her action and she was up to something.
The two ladies were silent, still holding each other’s hand, Anna wished her the waiter could bring her food and then she had leave the restaurant asap.
“Do you forgive me now?” Evelyn asked, softly.
“Yes, I do.” Anna answered, nodding her head.
She sprang up as soon as the waiter brought her order, packing her food, she started to hurry out, Anna was about to start walking the street leading to her house when Evelyn called out her name.
“Can I invite you out for dinner tomorrow night?”
Anna blinked and kept mute.
“Pretty please.” Evelyn pouted, Anna couldn’t resist the face, she smiled and agreed.
By the time Evelyn got home, she did a dance of joy in her sitting room, happy that her plan was working, she had managed to get Anna on her side and that’s all that matters for now until she strikes like a cobra.
Anna has stepped on a cobra’s tail and therefore she must be bitten.
Evelyn acted a snake striking a prey and laughed. She shouldn’t have gone to acting school instead of being a fashion model, she was really good at it, she slumped down on the sofa and laughed.
The real question now is, “what next?”
She has invited Anna for a dinner date tomorrow night at the same restaurant she met her.
“What should I do to her? It’s too say to kill her.” Evelyn  said to herself, “Or, should I abduct her and make her what she is, a whore, I could make money with her and no one would know her whereabout after she’s been auctioned out.”
Evelyn smiled to herself, she would figure out what to do with Anna later right now, she has other things to do.
She wants to get back at Stoner for calling her “old hoe.”
Evelyn decided she would pull up at his house.
Few hours later, she parked her in front of the house, after spending almost an hour and half in waxing and applying her skin care products on her body, she didn’t waste time in dressing as she wore burgundy wig to cover her blonde hair, a crazy jean jacket over her strapless halter neck dress that stopped mid thigh and has a small slit, she walked to the front porch and pressed the door bell, and waited for Stoner to answer.
As soon as Stoner opened the door, she entered and gave him a seductive smile.
“Stony baby, I had to come see you, miss me?” She winked, careering his face.
“Who’s this bitch?” A slender lady with blonde hair asked.
Evelyn was taken aback as she glared at the other lady irritatingly.
“Tanny, she’s a…”
“I’m the girl before you.” Evelyn said, pride laced in her tone.
“Is this the old hag you’re cheating me with?” Tanya asked.
“Your mama!” Evelyn fired at her.
“Don’t drag my mama into this bitch.”
“Or else what? Boo boo, aww don’t cry.” Evelyn scoffs.
“If you really wanted to replace me, it shouldn’t be with a skinny person.”
“At least her body is real.” Stoner answered, “you should leave. Girl! I’m over you.”
“You heard him sis, your bad and boujee attitude wouldn’t work on him.” Tanya laughed.
Evelyn felt embarrassed, she turned and left, she couldn’t believe how Stoner had treated her and his girlfriend too, she felt bad but deep down she knew she wouldn’t let it go and this time she would get away with it, Stoner isn’t  up to a quarter as smart as Allen.
Payback ’bout to be lit.
