When Aurora felt that her bumbum landed elsewhere, she looked over her shoulder, then she knew her big bumbum landed on the lap of Alpha Malik, she became afraid and nervous. She tried to looked at the expression of King Malik, then she shared a gaze with him, though Aurora supposes to stand up, but she got lost looking into the eyes of the man with the coldest eyes.
“Hmmm” , Alpha Malik hummed, and it distracted Aurora and she came back to her senses, she sprang up to her feet instantly, bowing continuously for Alpha Malik, saying sorry continually, even though he didn’t see her face.
“I’m sorry my king,” Aurora said repeatedly.
“Is okay, is not your fault” Alpha Malik said, and he slipped down from the tree likewise, dusting his royal robe, he stretched his hand forward and moved towards a standing tree, and Aurora trailed behind him looking down, and he stood beneath the tree.
He looked up, admiring the flowers on the tree, he stood under the tree and asked Aurora to come and stay beside him, he has always wanted to stay beneath the tree.
The tree holds a cool breeze that can make people forget their worries, Aurora stood beside him enjoying the cool freeze the tree was blowing on them.
When Aurora becomes more intoxicated with the breeze, she shut her eyes, enjoying the calmness the breeze gives, Aurora hasn’t felt this kind of calmness since Alpha Malik’s father died, the cool breeze swept over the tops of the trees and it makes it colder.
Yet they stood under the tree, enjoying the cool breeze, though it’s coming colder for Aurora, but she enjoyed it since she was happy Alpha Malik is with her.
Alpha Malik didn’t see Aurora face, but he knewx she was enjoying the cool breeze he looked at the signal her hand was making as the breeze was blowing, it made Malik excited.
“It seemed you enjoy the breeze more than I do”, Alpha Malik said, Aurora nodded instead of a response.
Alpha Malik looked at the mask on Aurora’s face, seeing how she enjoyed the breeze, it made Malik more happier, this is what he has always wanted and himself was having peace inwardly, which hardly happens.
He had many past painful memories that has been tormenting his life, then aurora’s presence in his life softened the pain, but his father death brought back the past painful memory, and add more to it, this made him hate Aurora, but the strange girl beside him tonight made him have inward peace, he thought is not meant for him, made him wondered how the maid was able to do.
“So tell me, when did you become a slave in my palace?,” He asked Aurora, which made her open her eyes beneath the mask.
“It has not been long your Highness”, Aurora heart thumping so hard, as he spoke.
“Okay, can you tell me your name at least if you can’t withstand seeing my face closely, at least you can tell me your name”, Malik asked.
Nervously, Aurora’s heart beat faster repeatedly, she can’t give the king a fake name, and she must tell him the name of one of the maids, if he didn’t want him to find out, she was the one disguising. She could have rejected the offer, but the love she has for Malik won’t let her, She want to do anything possible to get close to him.
She would be his peace, and at the same time, be his father’s killer.
“Shashina Your Highness” Aurora let out sharply.
The way she replied sharply made the king smile, Aurora stared intently at the king’s face, she felt excited that he smiled, the king has not smiled since his father died, The face becoming more cold as days pass.
When King Malik noticed that Aurora’s face was fixed on him, it dawned on him that he was smiling, instantly the smile was replaced with his usual cold face.
“Hmmmm” he cleared his throat.
“You know I wonder, how you’re able to make me fall asleep the day you came into my chamber, and I hope you can do the same tonight,” Malik said expressionless, his usual cold voice has resurfaced.
“Yes, Your Highness” Aurora said.
“And I hope you will teach me the tactics you use about it,” Malik said.
“There are no tactics Your Highness, what made it work, was because I patted you to sleep” Aurora said
Really? Malik wondered, cause she is not the first maid that has entered his chamber, not the person has patted him, the only person that has manage to make him sleep was Aurora, and it was only once then.
But he believed her, though he hadnt seen her face, but he was convince, she has a pure and innocent heart.
“I think we should go back” Malik said, he saw how Aurora was shivering beside him, he saw how cozy she has become she was rubbing her two hands together.
King Malik thought of what to do, cause is still a long way to reach the Royal mansion.
unexpectedly King Malik hugged her to keep her body warm he is not sure of what he is doing but he only followed his heart.
It took Aurora off guard, as Malik hugged her tightly, her heartbeat raced as Malik placed her head under his chest.
During the moment, Aurora, couldn’t talk not breathe well, her breathing sized.
After a brief moment, Malik removed her under his wings, after Aurora has gotten warmth. He walked away fastly just to make Aurora rush after him, which she did. When Malik saw that Aurora couldn’t meet up with his pace, then he reduced his pace just to make her meet up with him.
Aurora meet up with him, and walked beside him slowly, looking down as they walked towards the royal mansion.
On entering the royal mansion, Malik walked towards his room with Aurora, as soon as they entered the room, Malik told her his rules
“I don’t allow women to sleep in my chamber, as soon as you see that I have fallen asleep, leave my chamber,” Malik said in his usual commanding tone.
Sometimes People wondered if Alpha Malik is capable to love, his nature is like a Cameleon.
Alpha Malik slumped on the bed and asked Aurora to massage his body like before, gets to make him sleep.
Slowly Aurora get to work, in a brief moment Alpha Malik fell to sleep and a sudden doze fell on Aurora’s eyes, before she knows anything she was sleeping beside king Malik.
