Ronald stiffened when he heard the change in her voice. It reminded him of the powerful queen who died many years ago. The color of her eyes changes even frightening him more. He backed up immediately. His guard was also frightened. They have never seen such a powerful voice as that in such a long time.
Melissa has no control over her body. All she wants to do right now is to shred them to pieces. They touched her loved ones and it was her time for revenge. Even Raphael was shocked to see this change.
He wasn’t scared as others. He was only thrilled to know that his mate is the chosen one. She is now the most powerful queen in the whole world and everyone must know.
Before he could stop her, she had already ended the guard’s life. Ronald was the only one left. His frightened body fell to the ground. He was scared of her. She scares him a lot.
” Who are you?” He asked with a shaky voice
She smirked ” Your death,” she said simply before taking his life. It happened so fast. Raphael wasn’t expecting this at all.
Melissa took one and then two breaths before she got a hold of herself. She came to her senses. Immediately she engulfed her parent in a deep hug. They hugged her so tight.
” My child ” her mother was in tears ” You saved us. You saved us ” she kept chanting
Raphael didn’t know what else to say he allowed them to have their moment while he waited from behind.
Melissa have a little chat with her parent before it got interrupted by Raphael who told them they need to be in the pack right this moment. They complied and all drove to the pack where members were already waiting.
The atmosphere changed immediately. This was a sign that a throne has been handed to someone. This was Melissa’s throne. She is the new queen and no one can take that away from her until her last breath. The power that radiates her needs not to be questioned.

Pack members went to welcome their king. Melissa who thought she would be insulted after what she did to the Alpha was left surprised. She didn’t expect them to smile at her. The confusing this about it all was, that they were looking at her with so much admiration

Jemima came forward with a smile on her face. She went forward to hug her friend. She hugged her so right as if her life depends on it.
Melissa was still surprised that she forgave her. They are now friends judging by the hug. She smiled to herself. She was happy to be surrounded by people that love her. She felt welcomed.
Suddenly she saw someone standing in front of her staring at her with so much admiration. It was the same as what she saw in Raphael’s room at the hospital while he was sick. She was so happy to see the old lady again. She has a lot she wants to ask the lady after their encounter the last time.
She smiled back at the lady and didn’t want to seem too rude.
Alpha Jeremiah also came forward looking happier than ever. She wondered why he was so happy to see her. She did enjoy her conversation with him the last time. He seems like a nice guy.

Beside her, her mom squeezed her hand upon that. Melissa found that suspicious. She had to tilt her head to her mom to see what was wrong. All she saw was her mom’s eyes on Alpha Jeremiah’s wrist. Melissa didn’t know what her mom was staring at but she was sure it was the wristband around his wrist.
” Are you ok mom?” She asked. Suddenly the elder woman burst into tears. She couldn’t believe what was happening. These tears were tears of joy known to just her.
This action caught the attention of others. Raphael came forward looking so worried for the older lady” Are you sure you are alright?”
Her tears increased ” He is the one ” she said simply
Melissa was so confused. She doesn’t understand what she was trying to tell her ” I don’t get you, mom”
” This man over here ” she pointed at Alpha Jeremiah” He is your father ”
The revelation shocked everyone around the place. Maria was the only one with a smile on her face. It all looks as if she knew already but was just waiting for the right time and this was the right time.
Melissa didn’t believe her mom ” Mom please stop this if this is a game ”
” I’m not playing dear. I know what I’m saying. That wristband around his wrist, I remember them so well ” she said ” you had your around your neck when we found you”
“I have those ?” She asked confused
Alpha Jeremiah stared wide eyes at his daughter. Be could remember that he was the one that put that around her neck before she got stolen from them. He couldn’t believe what he had just witnessed. He needed to call his wife, she needs to be here with them. She has been in her room all these years looking so sick since she lost her child.
Alpha Jeremiah broke down in tears
Melissa moved away from everyone ” This can’t be happening right now. I can’t do this right now ” she ran away.

Melissa was behind a tree. She rested her body and began to cry. Her heart hurts a lot. This isn’t what she was expecting. How can Alpha Jeremiah be her father, she thought to herself this whole thing is too much to take in.
She took a very deep breath.
“What are you thinking about?” A voice asked.
She didn’t need to turn to know who was talking ” I need to freshen my head. I found out a lot of things today and it’s so hard to take in”
He chuckled ” Then you need to take it one step at a time ”
” I’m trying but it’s just too much to bear,” she said with a tired sigh
He stood in front of her. Raphael wore a smile on his face. He bent a little to her height ” you are not here alone. You can put your trust in me ” he said squeezing her cheeks.
Melissa blushed deeply ” how do I cope with this whole issue on the ground ”
” Who said you have to deal with it?”
.” I shouldn’t?” She asked confused
He shook his head ” Just move with the flow. It’s better that way and it makes life easier like that ”
She pouted ” I’ll try ”
He leans to her level ” Just wait until you meet Aunt”
She furrowed her brows ” Who is that?”
” Your mom. You will love her at first sight ” he winked
