I groaned out as Ashley woke me up. I was having a nice dream only to be woken up suddenly by Ashley. She wore a frantic face as I stared at her. My mood changes when I saw the fear in her eyes.
” What is it, Ashley?” I asked in concern.
” One of the king’s guards was here requesting to see you” she explained.
I was confused ” Why? What did I do this time ?”
She sighed ” Exactly what I want to find out too. He came with a message from the king ”
I Sat upright upon hearing that ” What is it about?”.
” He said the King requested for you in Ten minutes” she finally said making my eyes widen twice their size.
I stood up immediately rushing to the bathroom to have my bath. It was the fastest birth I have ever had in my life. Ashley just continued to stare at me as I scavenge the room for my uniform. I finally found it. I put the uniform on and lastly wore my sandals.
” Mel, you are five minutes late already,” Ashley said.
I stared at her with wide eyes ” See you soon and please wish me luck” with that I ran out of the room and made my way to the king’s palace.

I was finally inside the palace and already a guard was waiting for my arrival. He escorted me to the king’s study. He knocked and a silent come-in was heard. The guard went in to inform the king about my arrival and later on came to get me.
My heart was beating fast. I was having mixed feelings about this sudden call All I know is I haven’t done anything wrong at all.
The guard left me to my faith. I stood in the middle of the office not knowing what to say. The king was busy writing down something without even glancing at me or tell me why I was here. As if sensing my discomfort, he closed down the book in his front and then glance my way.
” Are you going to stand there forever ?” He asked rudely
I mentally rolled my eyes but still moved forward and dragged out a sit to the seat. My head was down as I fiddle with my finger. I felt so uncomfortable and he is making it, even more, worst for me since he hasn’t said anything yet.
” I heard about your win” he started then paused.
Well, I wasn’t the only one that won, I wanted to say but kept shut.
” Anyways, why I request to see you is because of your closeness with my sister”
” Jemima?”
” Yes her,” he said annoyed.

” I don’t want to see you around her,” he said suddenly
I was angry at the fact that he was trying to control who she should be friends with and who I shouldn’t. That girl doesn’t even have a say of her own and it’s not nice at all.
” Why Alpha? Is there is something I have done wrong ?” I asked looking confused.
He gave me a straight face ” No”
” Then why?” I’ll sure get punished for questioning the alpha.
” Because I don’t want to see the likes of you around here ”
I blinked my eyes shocked ” The likes of me? I don’t get it?”
He raised a brow ” Do you know that you can get punished for questioning my orders?”
I stood my ground ” I know but when your orders are going to affect the people I care about then I don’t care whatever punishment I might receive”
He was up in an instance. Suddenly he was in front of me, punching my seat backward, and stood right in front of me He bends his head to be eyeball to eyes ball with me.

My wolf was becoming angrier and he knew that. He planned to see me on the verge.
” Don’t call me that ?” My wolf was coming out but I tried stopping her with all my might.
The alpha laughed and am I allowed to say that his laughter makes him more handsome My heat was back. This is not right at all. Anytime he does something that affects me, my heat starts all the time.
I was breathing fast by our closeness. The king’s mood changes when he noticed my condition.
” Are you sick?” He asked as I was already running a temperature. He moved backward not knowing what to say.
I held my chest as pain shoots in, this pain was more worst than the previous ones.
” What is wrong with you?” He asked in concern as he saw me sliding down the Chair. He quickly held my hand and I felt a little calm by the gesture. He took me to the couch and sat me on it.
The pain still didn’t stop. As the king was about to get up from the couch, I did something I know I’ll regret later. I hugged the alpha tight and his body felt rigid upon my embrace. He didn’t say anything and I said nothing too.
I let out a sign only to find myself dozing off little by little.

Why does it sound so much like Jemima? I sighed then finally woke up. I stretched as I sat upright. I stared at my surroundings only to find it so foreign. Where was I? I thought.

I looked up only to see a worried Jemima looking down at me and I want to know why.
” Jemima ?”
” God! Are you okay? Do you still feel any pains? I was so worried for you” she asked as she inspect my body.
I gave her a confused look ” why? Did something happened to me ?”
” Don’t tell me you’ve forgotten what happened” she asked with wide eyes.
” What happened?” I asked trying to remember the. Suddenly it clicks ” OH SHIT!”
