“Enrique.” I feel like a child calling his name while holding the hem of his t-shirt. He was standing in the library of his office with a book in his hand. “Kisa.”
“Tss.” His only answer. Then he looked at me and looked back at the book. He ignores me and I am hurt. I’m not used to it because since we became ok, he hasn’t ignored me like this.
“Sorry, Kisa.” I’m like a begging child. I saw him holding his smile. “I was really busy earlier so I didn’t search right away. I fed Ixora first and then I got hot so I took a shower and then you came right away. I didn’t know you would come home early.
“You’re not taking me seriously,” he said smugly.
“I’m serious, I just forgot it.”
“You just talked to my brother and you forgot me right away.” And he walked to another shelf and took another book.
“Enrique, you are too stubborn.”
“Because that’s what it is. He’s always your priority.”
“No, you’re my priority above all else.”
“Tss.”
“I love you too,” I said. I noticed that he stopped what he was doing and did not move immediately. “I love you, Kisa. Always and forever.” He slowly turned his head and looked at me. He was staring at me as if he was looking into my soul.
“Did you mean it?” I nod while keeping my mouth shut. “Say it again. I want to hear it again from you.”
“I love y—–” But he pulls me and kisses me so I didn’t finish what I was going to say.
“I love you, Dande.” I couldn’t believe what he said. I felt like my whole body was shaking because of the joy. “I love you so much.” He was almost out of breath.
“I-is that true?” I feel like I want to cry because of what he said. I waited a long time for him to tell me this. And now that I’ve finally heard from him I feel like crying for joy.
“Which?”
“What you said.”
“That I love you?” I nod and I feel like tears will fall anytime. “Yes, I love you.”
“Deceitful.” I punch him in the chest and I couldn’t stop my tears. What he said had a great impact on me because I suddenly became dependent. I lost my courage and I feel like I can be weak because he is there to be my strength.
“Why just now you tell me.” I’m crying because I’m so happy.
“I already told you. You just didn’t get it right away because you didn’t search for it.”
“Is it still my fault now?”
“Magnolia’s fault.”
“Why did Magnolia get involved in this?” My crying disappeared and was replaced by wonder.
“Well, I asked her how to impress a woman by saying I love you in a unique way and she advised me that way.”
“That girl knows a lot.”
“Yeah, that’s why I like her.”

“Dande.” His voice suddenly became serious and then he grabbed my hand and brought it to his cheek.

“At least I found out early.” He hugged me even tighter and I could feel his smell on my hair. “Your smell is like an ecstasy. You’re giving me hard every time you’re near.”

“Would I hug you if I was mad at you?” I looked up to be met by him. “I can’t be angry with you, Dande. So I made a big mistake then. To push and hurt your feelings.”
“That’s okay. I understand.”
“I love you, baby girl.” Why does it feel good to hear that he loves me? I feel like I want to record it and listen to it over and over again. I don’t know how exciting it is. “I love you so damn much, princess.”
“I love you too, Enrique. My forever, prince, my Kisa.”
“Oh damn.” I was also surprised because he seemed shocked.”W-why?” I ask.
“I forgot we have dinner later.” Then he pulled away from me and took me by the hand. “Fix yourself and I’ll just fix the place.”
“Fix? Where are we going to have dinner?”
“Secret. Let’s go, and maybe the special dinner will be perfect.” We walked out of the library hand in hand.
He let me into the room first and told me to get ready because he would also come back after cleaning up. When I entered, my daughter was still sleeping with the nanny. I just left the nanny there and said that I’ll just fix it because Enrique and I have dinner and she’ll just keep watching until we get back. She kept nodding because she had no choice. She’s probably the nanny.
Anyway, I have no choice of clothes to wear. I didn’t know where we were going but because he said he would fix it for a while—it just meant that we would have dinner here at the Hacienda. Until I saw the new tube dress in a nude color that was only thigh length.
I was fixing my hair when Enrique suddenly entered. He just told me to take a shower while I put on make-up. I don’t know where we go but since I’m with my husband, I trust him. He looks at me while putting on the makeup. I know must be beautiful in his eyes. He shouldn’t see anyone beautiful but me.
Right after I fixed it, he came out.
“Am I wearing it all right?”
“Yup.” And he winked at me and then walked to the walk-in closet. Just a few minutes later, he came out wearing brown long sleeves and ripped-short jeans.
Instead of being shy because he was so simple, while I was obviously excited, I was still thrilled. How can you not be thrilled by his handsome and hot look? Especially if you’re topless. It’s my dimwit to think, Dimwit!
“Let’s go.” He extended his hand and then we walked. But before we left the room, we kissed our daughter and bought him from the nanny.
When we got out, we didn’t get on. Just walked but what surprised me was that we were going to the horse stable.
“Enrique, where are we going to have dinner?”
“In the stable,” is silly. That’s why we’re going there. Dimwit! But damn, why are we having dinner there?
“Why?”
“Because I want.” Of course, he doesn’t want us to eat there. I’m stupid in that part. I think he intends to eat grass so we will go there.
When we entered, nothing seemed to have changed. Except for the table at the end with food and candles. He immediately closed the door and locked it. We walked there and he helped me sit down.
I looked at the other side where the horse food grass was placed. There is a bit of darkness in that part where Ixora was formed. That’s because it’s covered there. Mind you, it’s a whole stable, but there’s grass and food there. The only thing that surprised me is that there is cloth there and even the grass is covered with cloth.
“Shall we?” We sat down and I also saw that there was iced coffee on the table.
“Why is there iced coffee?” But he chuckles.
“Later, we’ll drink that.” It’s probably difficult for us to take a bath. But why is Enrique laughing and—–why am I nervous? “Eat well, baby girl, so you have strength.”
