The practice went smoothly, though Lemon would sometimes get lost as she was amazed at how good they were. She also didn’t expect they’d be this serious, considering how playful they were before they started.
Rawbin and Lemon first played the song Lucky, as per Roj, it’s the easiest among their pieces. Unfortunately, one song already took them almost two hours, as the boys couldn’t stop themselves from teasing Drew.
“Lemon, you guys eat first, it’s already lunchtime,” Gemma called.
She nodded at the woman before turning to her bandmates to invite them for lunch. Kip agreed and they all headed to the dining area.
Lemon didn’t notice she was sitting next to Drew. “Looks like someone won’t be able to eat~” Roj whispered to Homme, but it was loud enough for everyone to hear.
She noticed Kip and Kevz looking at the guy next to me and they started laughing over again. This time, Lemon was unable to stop herself from frowning.
“Why do you guys always tease Drew?” she asked with a brow raised at them.
Homme cleared his throat as he bowed his head while Roj nudged him. “Sorry, we just find him cute when he’s blushing,” Homme stated.
Lemon shook her head as she reached out for the bowl of rice and passed it to Drew. “Go ahead and eat, just ignore it,” she told him, smiling.
He took the bowl from her without a word of thanks. He didn’t even smile or look at the girl. ‘Why is he such a snob?’
She was a bit irritated but chose to pay no mind to it. He’s probably ashamed because of their bandmates and if that’s the case, then she understands.
The group started eating quietly, then Lemon heard a familiar voice, so she excused herself. “Hi, Mom!” she greeted when she saw her in their living room.
This woman’s really gorgeous despite the exhaustion from all the projects she’s dealing with right now. Lemon wasn’t even surprised at how many French suitors she got, though all of them were friendzoned.
“Hi, Aunt Tori!” Kip greeted, when they headed to the dining room.
“Hi, Aunt Tori!” Kellen chimed in, then she stood up and gave the woman a peck on the cheek.
“Hi to my favorite twin!” she smiled before turning her attention to the rest of the people in the room. “Who are they, fille? Your bandmates?”
“Ah yeah, these are Kevz, Roj, Homme, Rawbin, and Drew.”
“Hi Ma’m!” Homme and Roj said in unison.
“Hi, Aunt Tori!” Kevz greeted.
“Good afternoon, ma’am,” says Rawbin.
Yes, they all greeted Victoria except for one, Drew. Lemon looked at him, but he was just focused on his plate. He didn’t even bother looking up to greet her mother.
‘Disrespectful!’
“Are you guys fine practicing at the garage? We can rent a studio for you,” Tori suggested, looking at Kippler.
“We’re fine at the garage, aunt. It’s spacious anyway, that will do,” he replied.
“Really, Auntie? You’ll rent a studio for us?” Homme asked, evidently excited.
“Why not? My daughter here told me that you guys are really good. You could be a good investment!” she stated, smiling. “You could become popular one day. I’ll be your first sponsor!”
“O-M-G! Are you serious, Auntie?” Kellen tried to confirm. She sounded even more excited than the rest of the band.
“I am! Besides, isn’t it hard for you? I’m pretty sure not all of you live nearby. You’ll need to travel just to come here and practice,” she then looked at my bandmates, one by one.
“Auntie, it’s shameful,” Kip replied as he scratched his forehead.
“Bêtises, Kippler!” Tori refuted. “Actually, I already have a place you could use.”
“What do you mean mom?” Lemon asked curiously.
“Dahlia?” She called out to her assistant.
“Yes, Madam?”
“Can you give Lemon the keys?” Dahlia was quick to follow. She looked inside her bag then she handed Lemon a bunch of keys. “Postpone your practice after lunch and check out the place,” Tori said, then she turned to Dahlia again. “Give Lemon the address dear.”
Lemon and her bandmates looked at each other with their foreheads creased. “Did you rent a place already?” Kippler asked.
“Actually no, I bought that property. You can check the place and see if you can use it as a studio. But if you don’t like it, I can turn it into a sewing shop, though I don’t need one at the moment. Then we can just look for another place for you,” she explained.
“Thanks, Mom!”, “Thanks Aunt!” Lemon and Kipper said in unison. Lemon hugged her, then she kissed her forehead and reached out to mess with Kip’s hair.
“You go back to eating. I’ll head upstairs to rest for a bit. Our clients exhausted me!” then she let out a sigh before turning her back to the group.
They all hurried to eat. No one was talking as everyone was excited about checking the place. After lunch, they didn’t even bother resting.
After bidding her mom goodbye, everyone got into Kip’s van and gave the address to their driver. The place was located on Tuazon Street, right in front of SMU.
It’s a two-story building with a veranda and a terrace. Inside the building was spacious. The caretaker who greeted them informed them that it was used as a studio before.
According to him, the walls were all soundproof. That means they won’t have any problems with the properties close to the place.
There’s a couch but it looked old. The place has a mini kitchen too, with a divider that covers it. On the second floor, there are three rooms and each floor has its own bathroom.
It’s actually an ideal place for a studio and all the members can’t get rid of the smiles on their faces as they look around. Even Lemon couldn’t contain her excitement.
“This is so fitting to be our studio,” Kippler stated.
“See! And you were hesitant earlier!” Roj called him off as he shook his head at their leader.
“We can buy some furniture and share the expenses. Let’s do the same for water and electricity,” Rawbin suggested, and everyone agreed.
“You guys think we can buy stuff for here tomorrow? Or today?” Kellen butted in.
“Let’s do it today, then resume your practice next week. For now, let’s clean this place and arrange everything that needs to be arranged,” Kale inputted.
“We can do that,” Kip agreed before turning to the group. “What do you guys think?”
“I’m fine with it,” Lemon answered with a smile.
“What are we waiting for then? Let’s go to the mall now!” Kevz was jumping up and down as he said that. He then placed an arm over her shoulders as they headed out. “You’re mom’s super awesome, Partner!”
“Behave Kevz or Drew will start frowning again. Get your arm off of Lemon!” Roj called off, then he laughed. Lemon saw Drew shake his head and let out a sigh.
“Let’s go before you all get distracted again,” Kellen exclaimed and rolled her eyes at the boys.
They lined up to get into the van without even planning what to buy for their new studio. Then again, looking at them all excited, who cares?
