Xia Weiwei was forced to move in with Luo Chejue. She could not say no because he had taken Shengsheng away with him, claiming that he was doing that for the sake of his daughter’s health.
For the past few days, he took Shengsheng to the hospital for her re-examinations and even hired a private doctor in the villa as soon as he learned that Shengsheng did not like to go to the hospital. He had been extremely meticulous and patient to Shengsheng every time he helped her to take medicines and played with her. Shengsheng felt uneasy at first but ended up completely clingy to him later, which saddened and frightened Xia Weiwei at the same time.
She hated to see intimacy growing between Shengsheng and Luo Chejue and was suspicious that all of these were nothing but a ruse Luo Chejue was playing. She didn’t believe any of his stories!
Every night, Luo Chejue insisted on sharing a bed with Xia Weiwei regardless of her will, only that he would put Shengsheng between them. There was nothing she could do about it. But she had never spoken to him again, always giving him an apathetic look.
It had been a week. Xia Weiwei lay in the bed, tossing and turning. To see Luo Chejue day and night was driving her crazy. She could not stand it at all if it were not for the expectation to see Xia Mo. However, Luo Chejue had never brought up the subject after that day.
Upon hearing some sounds from the door, Xia Weiwei immediately closed her eyes but was terrified when being hugged from behind and pressed against someone’s warm chest by a strong arm.
She instantly pushed him away and sat up. “Where is Shengsheng? What have you done to her?”
Luo Chejue also sat up and stared at Xia Weiwei as if she were a thorn in his eyes. “She has fallen asleep next door.”
“Luo Chejue, what on earth do you want to do?”
“I’ll never let you and Shengsheng leave.”
“Why?”
“Because she’s my daughter and you’re my woman! Besides, I didn’t sign that agreement.”
With a sarcastic smile on her face, Xia Weiwei cried out in a harsh voice instantly, “Just because of these? Luo Chejue, how dare you erase what you had done to me four years ago by simply saying we’re not divorced?”
Luo Chejue had been trying to pretend that everything was going well, and they could just go back to the times when they were married four years ago. She’d had enough of it! The only difference was that with Shengsheng, he would no longer stay out all night or be cold and ruthless to her.
So what? Did it mean that she had to be grateful, forgot what had happened, and start over with him? If that’s the case, what about those years? What about her sufferings?
She rubbed off the concealer on her right face hard with the back of her hand and a hideous scar was revealed there. It was not over. She tore off her clothes, leaving the right side of her upper body almost naked and her fair skin being exposed in the air.
“My face was disfigured by Xia Mo because of you! My legs were once crimpled because of you! Even here!” She pointed at an ugly round-shape scar on her chest. “You tried to kill me! I’ve died once! Luo Chejue, don’t even think about coercing me again!”
These scars constantly reminded her that she would never make the same mistakes again. Not in a million years could they get back together!
While she was in a state of great agitation, Luo Chejue merely reached out and pulled up her clothes with calmness, his fingertips gently caressing the scar on her face.
“You know, no one can stop me. You’re mine.” He knew perfectly well what he wanted. His heart began to beat again from the moment she came back.
“Luo Chejue! How dare you!”
“Don’t you want to see Xia Mo? I’ll tell Lin Yu to take you to her tomorrow.”
With that, he forced himself on Xia Weiwei and firmly grasped her by the arms before she could struggle. Lowering his head, he passionately kissed her lips and tongue for a while. When noticing the disgust in Xia Weiwei’s eyes, he raised his eyebrows and said, “I won’t do anything to you now. This is only the interest.”
