“You not only pushed her, but you also drove her away.” In a trench coat, Mandel moved carefully out of the darkness. “Since you are so powerful, why don’t you drive me away together?” he said, his voice as frigid as the freezing rain in the harsh winter.
A short glance was shared between the mother and daughter. Mandel appeared to want to defend Regina. They appeared to be out of luck today.
“How is that possible? It’s all a misunderstanding, Mr. Martin. Regina was the one who tripped. How could I possibly push her?” Caroline’s face was pale, as she feared anything would go wrong with the Miller family’s difficult-to-recovery firm.
“Misunderstanding?” With a steely look, Mandel swooped over: “Keep your mouth closed. I never hit women. If that offends me, I’ve got a hundred ways to torture the Millers!”
Oh, no! When he saw the woman crying so hard, his heart ached. He couldn’t seem to keep out of it!
“What are you doing? Get in the car!”
Mandel’s gaze was fixed on Regina, ignoring the mother and daughter. His powerful pressing momentum caused her to move involuntarily.
Regina walked stiffly to the door of the black Bentley, wiped a tear, and sat in the co-pilot seat.
Mandel gave an indifferent look before opening the door on the other side and sitting down.
The black Bentley started and disappeared into the night in a blink of an eye.
Caroline and Hedy’s looks became increasingly awkward as they looked at the distant car taillights.
Hedy was not an ordinary person. So, Regina did not appear to be a waste. In Mandel’s view, there was still room for her.
And, based on Mandel’s reaction today, the child in Regina’s womb was most likely his! Hedy grinned fiercely and drew the mortified Caroline inside the room.
Did a bitch have the right to demonstrate through Mr. Martin? She was curious to see what Regina could do.
A black Bentley gallops along the street. The panorama outside the window, as well as Mandel’s demeanor, gave them a strong sense of oppression.
Regina simply stopped looking at him as the mood in the little space became increasingly dismal.
She went to his workplace and apologized to him with all her dignity. He either disregarded her or treated her indifferently. What kind of decent guy was he to come here and aid her?
The black Bentley galloped for a bit before coming to a complete stop alongside the river. The time for going for a walk had gone, and there were few people on the riverbank.
Regina went to open the door without glancing at him after he came to a halt.
But the door was locked.
Regina glared at Mandel angrily: “What do you mean? Why did you bring me here?”
The man in the night lowered the car window, lit a cigarette carefully, and a curl of smoke came from the man’s fingers.
“What do you mean, Mandel? Do you want to strangle me and toss my body into the river in this wilderness?”
Regina was already enraged, and her tone became increasingly vicious.
Mandel threw away the cigarette in his hand and held Regina’s chin.
He was very hard. Regina’s face was slightly blue from the pain.
“What’s the problem? Is Dr. Thompson unable to satisfy you?”
The uncaring words came out sneeringly.
Regina fought hard, ignoring the fact that his pinching had redden the skin on her beautiful chin.
Albert was a help to her. Despite the fact that she had become accustomed to Mandel’s taunts, she could never let Albert suffer unfairly.
Mandel’s heart felt irritable as he saw the rage in her eyes.
Damn it! How far were you willing to go to protect him?
Inexplicably, Regina was amused. He had clearly controlled her, so why was Mandel’s look becoming increasingly embarrassing?
“Speak with dignity. I’m merely pals with Dr. Thompson!”
Regina struggled to release herself from his shackles. Her wet eyes were filled with rage.
“Are you just friends?” Mandel burst out laughing. That smile made people feel more and more gloomy.
“If it’s simply a friend, can you just turn around and get into his car? Do you dare to declare you haven’t slept in his bed?” His eyes were filled with rage. Only God knows how badly he wants to strangle this brave woman right now.
“Please be respectful, Mr. Martin. What made me lie in his bed?” Regina was enraged. Mandel had become as unreasonable as a devil. She cynically grinned and asked, “Don’t you think you’re overly concerned about me? Is it possible that I am connected to you? Aren’t you and Miss Green adorable? Is your fiancée aware that you are presently alone with me?”
Regina didn’t look away. Her brilliant eyes sparkled with a demonic radiance.
“I advise you not to challenge my bottom line, Regina.” Mandel’s breathing was clearly stifled. His pupils tightened, and a dangerous danger swept across Regina.
“You have nothing to do with me?”
A sneer came out of his mouth, “Don’t forget that you are still pregnant with my child!”
Regina became frightened and shrank back to escape the body. But the car door next to it was securely shut, and she couldn’t get out of it. She could only stand there helpless as Mandel’s big and tall body pressed down on her.
A refreshing aroma unique to Mandel mixed with a faint smell of tobacco rushed towards Regina like a tide.
Seeing the horror in the woman’s eyes, Mandel’s heart was increasingly irritated.
Was she really so averse to his approach? She defended herself so strongly for Albert?
The more she did, the less likely he was to give her what she desired.
His scorching lips brushed against hers. Mandel violently pulled her mouth open, tyrannically grasping her tongue to absorb her beauty. He cradled her in his arms.
Despite her valiant efforts, Regina was no match for Mandel. His strong and tall figure was like a mountain, and he held her tightly in his arms. She had no space for dissent.
After an unknown amount of time, Mandel let go of her till the stench of blood filled the space between the two’s lips and teeth.
His incomprehensible eyes locked on her, and she couldn’t see through his emotions or avoid them.
“What are you doing, Mandel? Do you still believe I’m not having a bad enough life? What do you want me to do in order for you to release me and my mother?”
The slender Regina finally fell after days of humiliation and torment. At this instant, all the strained strings in her thoughts snapped inch by inch, and a flood of uncomfortable feelings rushed towards her.
