She felt bored after some time then decided to walk around the place. Strider walked towards the girl.
“Layton told me to take you shopping,” Strider said.
“Why? I wasn’t planning to go shopping.” Strider pointed at the car.
“Layton said you should pick out a dress for this evening.”
“Why?” Strider ignored the question and led her to the car where they went to. Even though she didn’t want to go shopping cause of the whole Jennifer incident and hoped they wouldn’t meet.
“Herd you’ve been receiving phone calls?” Strider asked and she hesitated then smirked.
“Some friends.” She straightly said and Strider noticed something odd about her.
“What happened to you and Jennifer. You don’t talk much.” She shrugged.
“I don’t talk to her anymore. If she wanted our friendship to last she wouldn’t have been childish but would’ve told the problem. Plus I don’t have to beg her to tell me what’s wrong, they’re way better people to befriend than her.” She said with confidence and Strider was proven right Gemini did change, her personality was somehow related to Layton’s.
“I see you’ve been with Layton a lot.” She knew what he meant and chuckled.
“He’s just teaching me what I need to know and how to deal with such people.” He smiled then frowned a little.
“He’s doing a good thing, I just hope you don’t use it against him.” Just as Layton taught Andrea, Strider hopped that Gemini wouldn’t do the same.
“Am not Andrea Strider and you should know that! So I do prefer actually I command you to stop comparing me with her or this won’t work out!!” Strider was shocked and received a strong vibration from the girl.
“My apology. I was wrong to do that.” Gemini was surprised she had said that, she had never seen Strider respect her like this before. She wondered if her wolf had taken control without her knowing.
“It’s okay.” She said then went through the clothing again.
After a while of searching, she found a well-fitting cloth.
Once they got home Gemini was surprised to see the dining room and all the other and decorated in red and white. Gemini gasped she couldn’t believe what she was seeing.
“Like the decoration’s I did it myself.” Gemini turned to see Layton standing behind her with blood rose in his hand. She walked towards him and took the rose from his hand then sniffed it. The scent filled her nose.
“Yes I do but why did you do all this?” He smiled.
“Don’t you know it’s Valentine’s day or maybe your not a fan?” Gemini then remembered.
“I thought of doing something for you after all it is love day. “He looked down at her shopping bag.
“You got the dress?” She looked down at the shopping back then nodded.
“I bet it will look amazing on you, go change.” She went to her room where she changed to her delicate dress and headed back down. He smiled widely once he saw her.
“You look amazing and way better without your makeup.” She then noticed she had forgotten to put make upon.
“Oh I forgot, I could go back up and apply it.”
“I said you look better without it.” She smiled and he led her to the dining room where they had their grand meal.
“All this food?” She complained.
“I didn’t know what you liked so I told him to cook whatever was around.” She giggled then had they had their dinner.
“Then I’ll be in my room since we’re done.” Gemini got up.
“Not yet.” He took her to his room. His room was decorated even more with petals and ribbons. The alpha closed the door behind him.
“Wow, this is even prettier.” Layton walked behind Gemini and took her jacket off her then placed it on a hanger. Just after he turned the music on they danced to the music.
“Am surprised, I just didn’t expect all this.” She whispered in his ear.
“Well am not all heartless.” She giggled. She laid her head on his chest hearing his heartbeat as they waltzed. After a while, the music stopped.
“I guess I’ll be off to my room.” Again he stopped her.
“Why are you in a rush?” The question made Gemini wonder.
“What do you mean.” He smiled and later walked to his closet where he took out a black thick-thin case then walked back to his mate.
“What’s this,” she asked staring at the case. Her question was answered when she saw a necklace made of diamond, gold, and emerald. She was surprised.
“This is for you.” He said going behind her and placing the necklace on her neck. She looked at it once more in the mirror.
“Take care of it, it was very expensive.” He said standing behind her then planted a kiss on her shoulder.
“You didn’t have to do this.” He shook his head.
“It was worth it and it looks lovely on you.” She blushed heavily at his words. He turned her around then planted his lips on hers. What Gemini wished for came true that time and day they had made.
The girl woke up in Layton’s arms as soon as she realized what happened she smiled to herself. She never thought this day would come but it did.
