“Don’t touch me; I will strike you,” Queen Dylan threatened.
“We are very sorry, but it will be better if you agree to the king’s instructions.” The guard replied with a bow.
“I will go to my room myself; don’t touch me. You can just walk behind me,” Princess Avalon said, and she walked out of Dylan’s room. The guards bow their heads and follow behind.

Twinkle was in her room jumping all over when the king came inside.
“Twinkle, what are you doing?” He asked.
“Of course, I want to learn how to dance. “Will you teach me?” She asked.
King Aiden looks shocked. Did she just ask him to teach her how to dance?
Well, one thing about the king: he dances perfectly. He was some kind of troublesome person before he had to accept his destiny as a king.
Many things changed in his life as he had to live as a king with a lot of responsibility.
He coughed. “Meee?” He pointed a finger at himself.
“Yes, can’t you teach me how to dance?” I want to be your friend now, but you are avoiding me.
It’s okay, no problem. I can do that myself. Avalon will help me too,” Twinkle said with a pout.
“Okay, I will teach you how to dance.” “But you have to promise me something in return,” King Aiden said.
“What is that? Ask me anything, and I will do it!” Twinkle rushed to hold his hand.
“You won’t hit me. Promise you won’t hit me,” the king said.
“I promise!” she shouted, holding her ears.
“Okay, watch and mimic anything I do,” King Aiden instructed, smiling.
Twinkle tried doing it, but she couldn’t.
“Come on, that’s not it.” The king dragged her closer and put his hand around her waist.
“No, that’s bad. Do you want to rape me?” She shouted.
King Aiden was surprised at what she said.
“No, I am only teaching you to dance.” I can’t rape you”
“Are you in, or we should leave it?” King Aiden asked in a cool manner.
“Okay, but be very careful with my waist. It’s for my future husband,” Twinkle said, and King Aiden laughed.
“What future husband is she talking about if not me” He thought smiling.
“Why are you laughing now”She asked, and pouted..
“Okay, ma, I will do as you say,” King Aiden replied.

Hours later
King Aiden’s POV
I can’t believe all this is happening under my very nose. They both keep getting worse each day.
I am really angry with the both of them. They should stay indoors for now, because if I am to keep up with their fight, there is no way to keep up with this book.
And I need to heal Twinkle before everything is ruined. I can’t afford to lose this kingdom and my family.
So I just need to stand my ground as a king.
No more love; they keep fighting like rivals, even though rivals don’t fight like that.
I picked up the book. Page 200. I made that in a night. Then how many days did I have to read?
I can’t continue like this. I am a king, and there’s always a way out for a king.
He never mentioned this would happen, But when I couldn’t step back again.
Her mother’s body lies in the morgue. I can’t do anything until I know the truth about the flame.
But how did Avalon know this? Is there something she’s seen that I am not seeing?
Can she even try to hurt me? She always tries to make sure I am okay, but how did she change? ..
Why did she call off her marriage? Why did she start showing hatred toward Dylan? Is there something going on that I am not seeing? I should go and check on her.

Princess Avalon’s POV
“Mom, what are you doing here? You know it’s very dangerous to be here.” What if the guards see you?
“I know I can’t come to see you now, so I kept you waiting, but you shouldn’t have come here, mom,” I said as my mother appeared on the bed.
“Why shouldn’t I, my dear? This is my home, and I was pushed out by your father because of that woman…. I was forced to leave my children under her care.
She was taking my position. I wish she’s still alive; I will have torn her apart,” Mom said, standing on her feet.
“Mum, I understand, but you should know this place isn’t safe for you until we are able to sort out everything. No one wanted to see you in the palace.
Please don’t get us into trouble. The guards are right outside my door, and if they hear voices, they will be here in no time.
Please keep everything as low as possible until everything is finished. Even the king has begun to frighten me.
So I’m going to be extra cautious,” I said as I rose to my feet.
“Calm down, child; I have made their brain empty.” They won’t know anything until I leave.
I believe we’re done!”She asked, glaring at the picture of me and my brother, King Aiden.
“You guys look cute together, but everything is apart. My son doesn’t even want to see me. How hurtful. But it’s cool since I have you by my side. “That alone makes me happy,” she smiled, rubbing the frame.
“Mum is okay; I will sure bring you back here no matter what; no one will stop me from doing that, not even the king. But for now, we should be extra careful.
And again, won’t you congratulate me? I was a member of the White Witches Club. I always did all my tasks perfectly, so they are so very happy with me. Can’t you see how grown up and smart your pretty daughter is?” I asked as I walked closer to her.
“Would you like to take the photo with you?” I think glaring at him every day might relieve your pain.
Aiden is a very smart king, just as you wanted him to be. intelligent than Dad
But he’s very confused as we are giving him a real problem.
I adore Aiden; I never wanted to hurt him, but what other choices do I have left? The deed just needs to be done.
You have to return to the palace. “We need to clear things out,” I said as I sat back down on the sofa.

“And about the flame, Aiden shouldn’t find out anytime soon,” Mom said, caressing my cheek.
“Mum, but what of Twinkle? She’s innocent and going through a lot.” She lost her mother, and she’s mad right now.
And mom, what are you keeping from me? Why did you warn me against saving her mother? And why do you ask me to swallow the flame and then make me vomit it later?
I am confused, and what is in that book that you always read? Please explain it to me. Iam anticipating learning all this as I hold her hands.

But for Twinkle’s health, I can’t help you with that. Only the King can do that. I have a clue, but only he can understand it. He seems to know more about her.
They know each other better than we do. They meet frequently, but that’s invisible to us all.
That’s what I read in that book. “I don’t know the solutions; that’s why I am still confused,” she explained.
“If they knew each other before now and had always seen each other, is it possible that maybe that should be in another world or in their dream?”
And why did he have to suffer knowing her in reality? I am lost.
Mum “Please, can you explain better !”I asked.
“I don’t even have an explanation for it; I myself couldn’t understand this.”
Maybe the king would. He has the book now; there are just three. One was with the priest; I took one, but the remaining one was missing.
“I don’t know, but I suggest it was stolen,” she replied and stood up.
“I am interested in that book,” I said.
She scoffed. “Even if you had lived a long life, it is likely you couldn’t complete it,” she said.
“Why? So how will the king cope and heal Queen Twinkle? “I also stood on my feet.”
“Only if you know what pains await him.” Then you will know the one we are about to give him is just a minor pain. But it has to be like that.
I’ve got to go now, I smell the king coming,” Mum said as the door opened.
My eyes widened as we glared at each other.
