“Was it true you are seeing someone?” Who was that person?” King Aiden asked, coming inside.
“What question was that? Are you believing this thing over me?
Did you think I was seeing someone? If I was seeing someone, as you say, maybe I wanted to keep it a secret.
And why are you both attacking me? She’s the evil here, please spare me,” Princess Avalon said as she prepared to leave.
“Stop! Don’t dare move an inch. You would not be leaving this palace from now on.
You are on house arrest. And I will render you powerless till further notice,” His Majesty said in an authoritative tone.
“No, brother, I know you won’t want to do that to me. What will I do without my power? How can you make such a strict decision about your one and only sister?
Please don’t take my powers. I will be as good as dead,” she pleaded.
I think I feel pity for her. What will she do without her powers? That’s so bad.
“Your highness, please reconsider; don’t do such a thing,” I pleaded on her behalf.
“Stop right now; I have heard enough of you guys already. I am taking my decision, and no one can change that.
I regretted taking it easy with you both this day. You are both exceeding the permitted limit.
And now the King is making the decisions, not a brother nor a husband. Anyone who goes against my order will face the same thing. Get it!” he shouted at me for the first time. He is sometimes fierce, but he hasn’t been this harsh. What has come over him?

King Aiden was about to take a turn when Avalon tried to hold him.
“Don’t dare,” he thundered, raising his hand in the air.
“Aiden, please; I will never want to hurt you. It’s this woman who’s evil here,” Avalon insisted.
“Don’t dare refer to me as Aiden; I am the king. Learn to be respectful. I never wanted to handle you this way but you went beyond your lane.
And if you want to lecture someone, check yourself first. What about dignity? Do you have any?
You call off your marriage, which we worked so hard to plan, without a second thought-not even a reasonable excuse to give. But you keep complaining about her. What’s your problem? Why are you behaving like an imbecile?” King Aiden thundered, his eyes red.
“If you are to render me powerless, then you will also do the same thing to her.” Are you trying to render me powerless because of what this witch said to you?
I hate her; you can’t change that fact. Furthermore, I am now beyond your ability to render me powerless.
I now have a title in the white witch cult. So listen, brother, you can’t do anything to me.
You won’t be able to hurt me. Because you won’t be able to do so as long as someone with the most power from the white witch is still in this palace.
I was only trying to apologise to you as a sister. If you know you want to render me powerless, then you will have to destroy all the white witches and send Queen Twinkle out of here.

King Aiden slapped her on the face.
“How dare you talk back at me? Do you now have guts?”King Aiden thundered.
“King Aiden, with due respect, I will advise you to go and focus on the prophecy. because no one knows the end.
We are all involved; only the strongest survive. Stick to this fortune-telling game, dear brother. I will not call you a king; rather, I will call you a student.
You can’t stop me from doing anything I like in this palace, because this is also my father’s house.
“No one can stop me, no matter how hard they try,” Princess Avalon said with a straight face, and she made it towards the exit.
King Aiden locked the door with his power.
“You’ve really grown wings, sister; I must say you now speak like elders; you know now the difference between a learner and a coach. How smart of you!

Just be watching everyone, not just me,” she said, looking at the king in the eyes.
“Princess Avalon, don’t be rude; this is your brother, not an outsider,” Queen Dylan said.
“Hey! Don’t try to intervene; this is my brother’s problem, not yours, so stay out. You aren’t a royal.
You were plucked from the gutter, and without our stepbrother, with whom you were friends, how would you have tasted the water of royalty?
And, once again, you should know that I was the one who forced him to continue agreeing to marry you five years ago when our stepmother was desperate for him to find a wife.
He didn’t marry you out of love. I’m the one who makes him fall in love with you, but I think it’s all over now. And it’s overgrown.” Princess Avalon gave her a lethal look.
“You might make him love me, but he already loves me now, so you should respect that,” Queen Dylan shouted.
Queen Dylan and Avalon started their argument again.
Aiden went out without uttering a word.
The guards enter Queen Dylan’s room.
“My princess and queen, we are sorry, but the king ordered us to put you both under house arrest till further notice. When you need anything, you will ask us first,” the leader of them said.
“What gut? How dare you?” Queen Dylan stormed.
“Yes, your highness, we are very sorry.” “We have to do this,” one of them said.
“Imagine you fools. Now get the hell out of here!” Princess Avalon yelled.
“Sorry” He said and faced the rest of the guards.
“Come on, let’s take her to her room while some of you stay with the queen” He ordered and faced the princess and queen.
“The king also said you shouldn’t try to disappear” He warned as they bow for them before attempting to do their jobs.
“Don’t touch me; I will strike you,” Queen Dylan threatened.
