Third Person’s POV;
“Well done, kid. You killed the right guy even without knowing it” Alpha King Cole said with a satisfied look on his face.
“What do you mean?” Elijah asked in confusion.
“He is the one who killed your brother in the past” saying that Alpha King Cole changed into a dark brown colored wolf followed by Alpha Luke changing into a black colored wolf and they left one after the other.
“Matt and Stefan, go behind them and make sure each and every one of them reaches the pack safely” Elijah commanded looking as the members left in perfect order.
“Yes, Alpha” Both of them said in unison before they shifted into their respective wolves and left as well.
“So, how does it feel to have a mate?” Liam asked in amusement.
“Pretty good. It feels like you are complete” Elijah answered truthfully.
“You shouldn’t have taken so much time in the basement. The was one long kiss!” Liam said teasingly.
“How do you know?” Elijah asked in a shocked tone and Liam gave him a look.
“Was it that obvious?” Elijah asked again groaning as he said that.
“Yeah” Liam replied and almost burst into laughter.
As Elijah was about to change into his wolf, Liam stopped him,
“By the way, let me confess something before we move towards the pack house” Liam said in a serious tone.
“What is it?” Elijah asked ready for any grave news.
“Rose is really the most beautiful girl. Even I have not seen anyone prettier than her” Liam said before Elijah could comment he raised his hand,
“Before you peel my skin off, let me clear it. For me, my Layla is the most beautiful but I was talking about the world in general, if that any make sense” Liam said scratching his head thinking Layla would really rip him apart if she heard what he just said.
“I know. I didn’t comment anything” Elijah replied with a smirk.
“So, how many days do you think will she take for this whole thinking thing?” Liam asked as they moved towards the forest.
“She will come tomorrow” Elijah said confidently.
“How can you be so confident?” Liam asked in shock.
“because I know my mate!” Elijah added with a smirk.
‘But…” Before Liam could ask another question, Elijah changed into his werewolf and left.
“ALWAYS!” Laim groaned Elijah always leaves the conversation in between the moment Liam gets excited.

Meanwhile in the Blue House,
“What the hell was that?” Oliver asked to no one in particular.
“That? What the hell is wrong with Aunt Mary? She is a werewolf?” Eva asked, still in shock at what transpired moments ago.
“We saw her change!” Nove added in confirmation.
Mike closed his eyes in frustration.
“You are not really going with him, right? You only obeyed because you wanted to save us all, right?” Oliver asked while moving towards Rose.
“Mom, you are a werewolf? What else were you hiding?” Mark asked sitting next to his mother who was moved to the sofa by her husband.
“That is not important right now! She is one of us! We can’t just let Rosey to go their bloody pack house!” Oliver said still focused on Rose who didn’t have any idea how to respond to this unfortunate turn of events.
“You hid that you were a werewolf!” Mark was still fixated on that.
“Why are you blaming only her? They also hid that they were hunters!” Rose spoke for the first time taking her mother’s side.
It was upsetting Rose to see her mother so weak while everyone around her was giving her a look of betrayal including her own son.
“Rosey, you look at me when I am talking to you. You can’t go with him. He killed our uncle! He is a murderer!” Oliver said forcing Rose to look at him.
“Our uncle wasn’t a saint either, Oliver!” Rose said bluntly.
“Rose, he killed my dad mercilessly. He burned them” Theodore looked at her with eyes filled with pain.
Rose’s eyes softened when she looked at Theodore and spoke,
“My brother, your father tried to burn him first. He was the one who shot two bullets at him with wolfsbane which is poison for him. I saw it with my own two eyes. He attacked him with every piece of equipment possible and nearly killed him. It wasn’t Elijah who burned him, they were throwing fire at him but he dodged and this resulted in the mess!” Rose explained to Theodore in frustration and anger. She didn’t want to hurt him.
No matter how bad Peter was as a person he was still Theodore’s father.
“And you saved him! WHY?” Oliver pointed an accusing finger at her.
“Yeah, I did. I had to. Three of my uncles attacked him when he had literally zero weapons on him. He stopped himself until the very last moment but then he lost it when Uncle Pete tried to burn him after shooting him. Did you know he was shot four times? Two by Uncle Pete and two more generous shots by your dad!” Rose said angrily while pointing towards Uncle Levi and then Uncle William.
“Pity Uncle William and others missed each and every one of their shots” She added looking at them venomously. The thought of them hurting Elijah was burning her from within.
Oliver looked at his father and then Uncle William with surprise. He knew they were hunters but he was told they only attack werewolves when they harm humans. They are just protecting innocent lives.
“Your dad was a hunter too before he married your mother and that changed everything otherwise, we wouldn’t have to go through all of this” Uncle Levi stated like it was a sin that her parents got married.
“Your dad was younger than me but he was born with the leadership abilities. We were supposed to protect humans from those beasts. That was the task given by our father. If we won’t kill them, they will kill us and eat us!” Uncle Levi added like a mad man.
“Oh, shut up! Stop with your lies!” Mary shouted for the first time after regaining some of her strength back.
“Werewolves never attacked someone. It was always hunters who initiated the fight! What you did to Crown Prince Alpha Elijah isn’t a surprise to me neither it was the first time you did something like that!” Mary said furiously.
“What do you mean, Aunt Mary?” Oliver asked gently.
“They did the same to me years ago!” Mary said looking at Oliver then looked at Mike who was holding his head down in shame and guilt, confirming what she was saying to be true. Then she turned towards Theodore,
“And that time too, your father was the one who shot me. I had two silver bullets stuffed with wolfsbane in my system, all thanks to your late father!” Mary said angrily revealing the truth she was hiding in her chest for years.
Everyone was shocked after hearing that. When that incident happened only Levi was married so only Stella witnessed what happened that day. Milly and Melissa only knew what they were told by their husband which was obviously an absurd lie.
“I wasn’t as strong as Crown Prince Alpha Elijah to hold on to my life and fight back after being shot twice, otherwise I would have been the one to kill your father in the first place!” Mary roared, scaring the hell out of everyone.
Silent tears were trickling down Theodore’s eyes in confusion and hurt.
“What happened that day, Mom? What was between you and Alpha King Cole?” Rose couldn’t help but ask as curiosity under her was killing her.
Mary looked down in embarrassment but Mike kept his hand on his wife’s shoulder to show his support.
“They need to know the truth, Mary. It’s about time, they know their real ancestry” Mike said in a serious tone and Mary nodded.
“Alpha King Cole and I were childhood sweethearts” She revealed the truth finally.
“WHAT!” Rose and Mark shouted in unison.
