Still in a lightened mood about the hearty talk with Katrina, Miranda returned to the bedroom. Damian wasn’t there, he probably went down to attend to some matters, she was so excited to tell him how it went, guess she’ll just have to wait for him till he returns back.
She felt like taking a shower then, but as she was about to take off her clothes, she heard a vibration noise coming from the bedside table. It was her phone, wondering who it could be that was calling her, she went to pick it up. It was a private number. Normally, she wouldn’t pick up such calls from unknown sources, but she was in a good mood today, and besides, curiosity got the better part of her.
She answered. “Hello?”
“Hi, Miranda.” It was Walden, dear God, why did she have to pick this one?
She scoffed. “What do you want, Walden?”
“I just wanted us to talk Miranda, just talk, that’s all.”
“I thought you would have moved on with your life by now, after seeing I am no longer interested, but no, you still decide to bother me even after everything….”
“Miranda, please just hear me out. I know I wasn’t the best husband-to-be to you, I know I did a lot of wrong things, but my feelings for you Miranda, they’re genuine. I swear that they are.”
“Walden….”
“Please Miranda, can’t you see that I’m not ready to give up on you no matter what? Even with the fact that you’re even now married to someone else?”
“The only thing I can say to you in response is that you’re just wasting your time Walden.”
“Miranda, for goodness sake, didn’t you even consider all the things I told you about your so-called husband??? Even if you can’t consider me anymore, can’t you at least consider that?”
“I did consider it, and the only thing I regret was even giving any thought to anything you said in the first place. Stay away from me Walden!”
“Miranda, I…”
Before she knew it, someone snatched her phone from behind her. She turned to see Damian taking over the conversation with a scowl on his face.
“Don’t ever try to call this number again, and stay the hell away from her,” he growled.
“What the…? And just who do you think you are to tell me that?”
“I am alpha Damian of the silver pack, and Miranda is my wedded wife.”
“Damian…! You….! You devil…! You sent assassins to kill me…. If you dare to hurt Miranda…., I’ll….”
“I think the only one who has succeeded in doing that is you. I won’t warn you to stay away from her again.”
“You bastard… You… How dare you…?”
*Beep* The line went off.
**********
Oh goodness! How crushed was Walden’s soul at that moment. How dare he???? How dare that bastard??? Who does he think he is to tell him to stay away from Miranda? Acting like he owns her? The hell….
He was so mad right now!!!! His head was boiling with rage!!!! He needed to do something…. Anything that would help release some stream, anything to take his anger out on….
Before he knew it… He smashed his phone on the ground, breaking it to pieces…. That felt good…. But he needed more…. So much more steam to cool off…. So many things to smash around the room….
He grabbed his bedside lamp, and threw it to the wall with a loud crash, glass shards scattered all over the ground… But he didn’t care… More steam…
Grabbing a fine ornamental vase, smashing it violently against the ground, some shards got in contact with his skin then, wounding him, but he didn’t care… He still felt like smashing more stuff, and that was how he began thrashing his whole room…. Not minding how much it it made him bleed. Look at what you’ve made me do Miranda, just look at how crazy you’ve made me… Was the only thing he could think of.

After cutting the call, Damian handed the phone back to Miranda.
“Thanks,” she said to him. “But… ”
“But what?”
“I appreciate you standing up for me and all, but… I don’t you getting involved between me and Walden.”
“I… don’t understand…. Are you upset about what I did?”
“No… It’s just… I can handle Walden on my own, that’s all. I don’t want you to take offense by my asking you to stay out of it, but I want you to just trust me that I’ll be faithful to you. I’m never going to leave you for him…”
“OK, if you say so.”
That was too much of a straightforward answer for her. She took his hand and gazed into his eyes, “I hope you’re not angry at me?”
He shrugged, “of course not, why would I be? If that’s what you decide, then I’ll respect your decision. And of course I trust you.”
She blushed, “no… I don’t believe you, I think you’re still mad at me.”
“Ok then, so what do I have to do to prove to you that I’m more than cool with your decision?”
She inched closer to him, so her breasts were in contact with his chest, she raised her neck so her breath brushed his ears while she whispered into them…
“You can prove it to me by making me scream your name while I come. Make love to me now the way you’ve never done to any woman, Damian.”
“Hmmm,” he smirked, whispering back. “Are you sure that’s what you want?”
“I am more than sure.”
“OK then.”
Surprisingly, he left her then and went into the closet, leaving her to wonder what he was up to. He returned seconds later holding a blindfold in his hands.
“What are you doing?” She asked, feeling herself already getting turned on just by sighting that blindfold in his big strong arms.
He didn’t answer, only reached where she was and turned her back to him, covering her eyes with the strap and making sure her vision was totally cut out with the black fabric.
She licked her lips, feeling his thumb brush slightly over them, and then he leaned in to answer her previous question, hands surveying her body…
“You don’t need to see anything that’s going to happen tonight, only feel.”
God!!!!! How she couldn’t wait….
