Book:Fated To The Ruthless Alpha King Published:2024-6-5

Samara was not in a good mood because of all that’s happened. Walden had returned home from the lotus packhouse yesterday very disappointed, as Miranda had rejected him, her reaction not only hurt his pride, but also made him refuse to speak to anyone throughout. He shut everyone away, including her.
This was not good at all; even with all the persuasions, Miranda still went ahead with the marriage to the silver alpha. Samara decided she needed to do something about it herself, which made her choose to visit the lotus packhouse this morning, the couple had just wedded yesterday, so they might still be around if she arrived early enough. She knows that it might be a futile attempt to try to convince Miranda herself, but she’s willing to try anyway.
**********
Early in the morning, Miranda was outside, bidding her lotus followers goodbye, as she was departing to her new home as the new Luna, all the silver pack soldiers that would be escorting her and Damian were already outside with the vehicles, the front of the compound was crowded so it took a while for Samara to pass through and find Miranda, and when she did, she met her with a couple of other Lotus wolves. Audrey and Beatrice were out with her and the other pack wolves, exchanging their farewells to their princess, before they spotted Samara approaching Miranda.
“What’s she doing here?” Beatrice asked, throwing an inquisitive glance towards Miranda, who then turned to see they were referring to.
Samara beamed a smile at her upon reaching where she was, “oh dear Miranda! It’s so nice to see you after such a long time!”
Of course, it was a surprise to Miranda, she’d never known Samara to be so welcoming towards her so there must definitely be something going on.
“What do you want Samara?” Miranda didn’t waste time in asking.
“Miranda, I heard about your marriage with the silver pack’s alpha yesterday…”
“And so? What has that got to do with you?”
“Miranda, I know that we haven’t exactly been getting along with each other for a long time but I thought that my coming here should convince you that I wish for nothing more than for you and Walden to find true happiness together.”
“Walden and I have separated for good Samara, and it’s all thanks to you. You no longer have to compete with me for his attention anymore, you can have him all to yourself now.”
“Miranda, I’m sorry if you feel that way but separating you and Walden was never my intention.”
“But it’s what you did…”
“I didn’t mean to, and that’s why I came here to convince you that you are making a mistake.”
“Walden has already done that, and so has Valledor, they’ve all failed at it, so what makes you think you’ll make any difference?”
“Miranda, please don’t be like this…. Walden really cares about you. He’s been heartbroken ever since he returned yesterday.”
“Good. Now there’s a chance to comfort him like you usually do when he’s upset.”
“Miranda…! Think about what you’re doing; handing out the last of your wolves to someone like the silver alpha who is so powerful! You’ll never be able to stand up against him if he ever turns his back on you…!”
“Let me be the one to worry about that, Samara. I was the one who married him and I’ll be the one to bear the consequences if any, the decisions I make regarding the welfare of this pack is none of your business, so I suggest you stay away from it all.”
“Miranda….”
“What is going on here?”
Everyone turned in the direction of the dominant voice that sounded from the front entrance. Alpha Damian was all dressed up and ready to leave, only to come out and see his wife arguing with a strange woman.
“Good morning, Damian,” Miranda said.
“Good morning,” he nudged his head towards Samara. “And who is she?”
“No one important,” she answered. “She was just taking her leave, weren’t you, Samara?”
Alpha Damian, the ruthless alpha Damian famous for killing without batting an eye, he looked so cold, so scary, Samara definitely didn’t want to pick a score with someone as powerful as him, not so early.
She bowed, “it’s a pleasure to meet you alpha Damian. I only came to congratulate your wife on her wedding yesterday, and I was just taking my leave.”
“Of course, you were.”

That same morning, beta Valledor left the packhouse to meet with Samara in their usual meeting point in the forest. After speaking with Miranda, she’d called Valledor here so they could discuss a new phase of their plan.
“Good morning, Samara, you didn’t tell me you were coming today, you don’t know how nice it feels just to see you.”
“I had to come here. I was desperate, I tried to see if I could still manage to convince Miranda, but it was all just a waste of time. She humiliated me in front of everyone, including her husband!”
“At least you’ve gotten a small taste of what I’ve been through with that useless girl, you see how much I tried. Miranda is truly the devils incarnate. You won’t believe that she killed my son! My only son! She must pay for what she did!”
Samara was surprised to hear this, “wait a minute… you mean to tell me that she’s the one who drove Tobias into darkness?”
“Yes, she told me yesterday after I called her out for the weakling that she is. She doesn’t know that she was asking for trouble when she admitted what she did. Now I don’t even care about that stupid pack! I only want her dead for ruining my son’s life!”
Samara shook her head, “I’m sorry about this news Valledor, I can only imagine how you feel, but you cannot allow your grievance to let you lose focus on our main objective. Instead, let it fuel your hatred for her; let it drive your determination to kill her and take all her inheritance! That’s how a real man wolf should think!”
“You’re right,” Valledor nodded. “You’re absolutely right… I couldn’t agree with you more… I have to channel my energy towards killing her to get the best results.”
“Of course, I’m always right.”
“So, what is the way forward now?” He asked her.
“I’ve been thinking, and after everything that has happened, we only have one last resort to follow; as we now have the silver pack’s leadership to contend with, we’ll have to bring in a third party.”
“A third party? But who will agree to partner with us and what will we be able to offer them?”
“The rogues, and we will offer them the one thing they always crave for, the main cause of all the wars that’s been going on; which is power.”
Valledor grinned, “I haven’t fully heard about this plan of yours but I’m already beginning to like it.”
“Of course, it’s the best plan I’ve ever thought of yet. Do not worry friend, for I have a partnership in mind to make with their leader. We’ll get the Lotus pack, and we’ll not just kill Miranda, but we’ll also kill her husband as well.”
