Upon seeing that Charlotte had set the time and place, Jaeden no longer hesitated and nodded, “Alright, see you then. I’ll hang up now.” He ended the call, lay down on the bed, closed his eyes, and fell asleep.
Since the young lady had extended such a warm invitation, he couldn’t refuse. Besides, he did have the intention to meet Charlotte.
Charlotte felt anxious, but since she had a business discussion tomorrow, she needed to prepare tonight.
To secure this order, she needed to put in a lot of effort. Bella had already arranged the meeting and negotiated the terms.
What conditions could she offer to make them stay? She could only offer higher profits, and she was prepared to make concessions.
However, just to be safe, she called Quentin and arranged for him to pick her up and take her to Milky Restaurant tomorrow.
Quentin readily agreed.
The next day, as Charlotte went to work, Bella displayed a smug demeanor, confident that victory was hers, filled with provocation.
She had sealed the deal with Jaeden yesterday. Did this foolish woman still think she could win?
Even though she had lowered her profit margin by two points and added a hundred thousand dollars, plus spending a night with that cunning man, what could Charlotte do to compete?
She would soon secure the contract and once again assert her dominance in front of everyone.
Regardless of Charlotte’s character, Bella’s strength and methods were superior, and that was enough!
Charlotte ignored her and went straight to her seat, starting to work seriously. Although Bella looked provocative, she didn’t come over to taunt her.
Until just before the end of the workday, Bella finally approached her, sneering, “Charlotte, you lost this time after all-”
“Now, I’ve reached a cooperation agreement with Mr. Garza. Just waiting for the contract. Even if you intervene now, you have no chance of winning.”
“Even if you use all your tricks, this order is mine. Don’t delude yourself.”
Charlotte retorted without backing down, “Bella, don’t be so sure. Nothing is certain yet. I’ll talk to Mr. Garza tonight.”
“Hasn’t the contract been finalized? Since it hasn’t been signed, it’s not completely certain.”
“What are you so proud of? Aren’t you afraid of any unexpected twists?”
Charlotte’s words made Bella’s face even darker. She coldly said, “You’re dreaming. There won’t be any unexpected twists!”
Charlotte sneered and didn’t continue speaking, but tensions pervaded the office.
After work, Bella still felt some pressure for some reason, a lingering sense of unease in her heart.
She called Jaeden again, asking, “Mr. Garza, are you going to discuss business with that woman tonight?”
Jaeden frowned slightly, displeased. “So what if I am? Miss Anderson isn’t going to oversee even this?”
“We did agree yesterday. You offered me a 2% discount, which is a hundred thousand dollars, but I didn’t promise to only work with you. What if someone else offers better conditions?”
Upon hearing this, Bella cursed Jaeden as shameless.
She spent a night with this man, and now he was breaking the deal and leaving with everything. Just offering that two-point discount?
A surge of anger rose within her, but she had to suppress it for now. After all, this kind of thing wasn’t honorable. If she directly confronted him and exposed everything, she would be the one embarrassed.
She said in a low voice, “Mr. Garza, I have another deal to make with you.”
