“I understand.”
Reuben Austin immediately nodded, “I will handle this matter well, Mr. Holland, rest assured.”
How could he dare not to do well what this big boss had ordered?
“How many people are you recruiting this time?”
Quentin asked again.
“Five,” Reuben Austin reported truthfully, “There are a total of thirty applicants.”
Quentin pondered for a few seconds and said, “Let’s see her results first. If she passes, that’s good. If not, find a reason to specially recruit her.”
“Don’t pull down someone else’s spot.”
He did this to avoid Charlotte feeling burdened after the fact.
So, this was the best way to deal with it.
“Understood.”
Reuben Austin nodded, he finally got it this was to arrange for his wife to come here and have a bit of fun.
Regardless, he still had to serve these two meticulously; otherwise, he wasn’t sure if he could keep his position.
Moreover, Quentin’s demand wasn’t excessive.
Even if it meant keeping a non-contributor, it wasn’t a big deal for Spicurity Group.
“Also, don’t publicize this matter; Charlotte’s identity must not be leaked, understand?”
“Understood, understood!”
Reuben Austin nodded repeatedly.
Such an old hand, he was clear about what should and shouldn’t be done.
“You may go,” Clark Wilson waved his hand.
Reuben Austin bowed and retreated. He dared not slack off on the orders of these two, going back to immediately execute the tasks Quentin had given him.
Inside the interview room, Charlotte walked in.
Inside the room, dozens of people were all looking down, having no interaction.
Charlotte walked in and found a seat. To her surprise, Leah Barton was sitting next to her, which shocked her.
Leah Barton glanced up at her and smirked sarcastically.
Charlotte was speechless.
To meet this woman again.
Honestly, she didn’t have a good impression of Leah Barton too uncivilized, too domineering. Thus, Charlotte had no intention of talking to her.
Just as she was about to sit down, Leah Barton sneered and kicked the chair away, nearly causing Charlotte to fall and embarrass herself on the spot!
“What are you doing?” Charlotte exclaimed angrily.
This was too much bullying!
“Nothing, I just think you don’t deserve to sit here, stay away from me,” Leah Barton sneered playfully, “What, you’re going to fight me?”
“I can’t be bothered to argue with a madwoman,” Charlotte suppressed her anger.
“Who are you calling a madwoman?” Upon hearing this, Leah Barton exploded again.
“Whoever responds is,” Charlotte replied coldly, “admitting to yourself.”
“Hope you can still be so arrogant later,” Leah Barton stared at Charlotte darkly, her eyes flickering sinisterly.
The others watched all this in astonishment.
Did these two have a grudge?
Why were they fighting like this?
Just then, a young man walked up confidently, gazing down from the podium at everyone seated below.
The room suddenly quieted down.
“Be quiet.”
The young man commanded in a deep voice.
Charlotte looked up and her heart skipped a beat-wasn’t this the guy from before?
Zachary Poole was dressed in a suit, his expression solemn as he surveyed the room.
When his gaze swept past Charlotte, a spark appeared.
He had always harbored a little idea that he hadn’t shared with Leah Barton.
This woman in front of him was exceptionally outstanding; Leah Barton seemed plain and vulgar compared to her, not in the same league at all…
Today, having him as the interviewer might just be a providential opportunity.
Zachary Poole thought to himself.
Leah Barton’s plan might be usable but not in the way she intended it would be according to his own will.
For some reason, feeling his gaze on her for a few seconds made Charlotte uncomfortable, a slight unease growing inside her.
“Alright!”
Zachary Poole said gravely, “Everyone here today is a candidate for our company. I’m Zachary Poole, the HR manager, and I am honored to be your interviewer today.”
He emphasized a bit more when he mentioned the HR manager.
“Today’s interview will primarily be a written test. I hope everyone performs well!”
“Now, the written test begins!”
After saying this, Zachary Poole’s gaze again swept subtly over Charlotte.
