“Okay, I’ll tell you later when I leave.” Charlotte smiled.
Anna had been Charlotte’s good friend since middle school. The last incident had caused some tension between them, and she didn’t want Quentin and Anna to have deep-seated grudges against each other.
She hoped they could get along peacefully this time. With so many classmates around tonight, there shouldn’t be any trouble.
At 8 p. m., Quentin arrived to pick up Charlotte. Charlotte applied light makeup.
“You look amazing today,” Quentin smiled affectionately.
“Are you implying that I didn’t look good before?” Charlotte playfully blinked her eyes.
“I’m just teasing you, silly.” Charlotte tapped his forehead, laughing cheerfully, and naturally sat in the front passenger seat.
Twenty minutes later, Quentin’s car stopped at the entrance of the restaurant. Seeing the luxury car, the staff members’ eyes lit up as they warmly welcomed them.
“Sir, Miss, please come inside-”
“Do you have a reservation?” they asked.
“There should be one. My friend is inside,” Charlotte slowly replied.
“Sir, due to the high volume of customers in our restaurant, your car parked here requires registration. Could you please write down your private room number?”
“If your car needs to be moved, we can contact you more easily. Thank you for your cooperation.”
“You can write it down,” Quentin handed the paper to Charlotte; he couldn’t remember the room number.

Meanwhile, inside the private room, a group of people gathered around a large table, laughing and chatting. The atmosphere was lively.
“Everyone, enjoy yourselves tonight. The bill is on me; my boyfriend is treating us.”
Anna smiled. “He’s so good to me, I don’t even know how to repay him…”
The two linked arms affectionately, drawing envy from many.
“That’s so great!”
“Anna, I’m so jealous of you. If I could find a boyfriend like him, that would be amazing.”
“Yes, yes. I’ve heard Anna’s boyfriend comes from a wealthy family with a successful business…”
A couple of girls eyed Parker Collins, who looked extraordinary and well-dressed, with admiration. Why couldn’t they be as lucky as her?
Finding such a wealthy boyfriend would mean a comfortable life for the rest of their lives.
Parker Collins noticed their looks of admiration and gave a faint smile. “What kind of rich second-generation am I? My family just does a bit of small business.”
“Millions in assets don’t even rank in Stresall,” he spoke modestly.
However, after he said this, the girls’ eyes grew even hotter.
Millions in assets!
Though he may not be a super-rich heir, at least he could offer a life of luxury-a comfortable and easy life.
Such a rich boy was already quite good.
Parker Collins whispered in Anna’s ear, “Why isn’t Charlotte here yet?”
Anna calmly replied, also whispering in his ear, “Don’t worry, she’ll definitely come. Remember to fulfill your promise to me afterward.”
Parker Collins nodded, thinking of Charlotte’s graceful figure and extraordinary aura. His heart raced with excitement, but Anna had mentioned that a poor woman like Charlotte would be the easiest to conquer.
He was confident.
Anna smiled, “Charlotte will be here soon. Let’s wait a little longer.”
“Charlotte’s coming too?”
“I heard she was almost about to become Mrs. Duncan, but then… Mr. Duncan died that very day! I think she must have a hard life!”
“Isn’t that so… She had a child out of wedlock and didn’t go to college. She was kicked out by the Pittman family for a few years, living in poverty. She finally found a wealthy man, but…”
A few fashionably dressed girls snickered, their tone somewhat disdainful.
Anna didn’t stop them.
Instead, a few men, hearing that Charlotte was coming, showed a glimmer of anticipation in their eyes.
This was the woman they had all admired in their youth!
Even though she was now a mother of two, they still felt a twinge of excitement, and their eyes held a hint of expectation.
“Hey! Tonight’s about Parker and Anna, so let’s give them respect and not mention anyone else.”
A trendily dressed young man with a sly look spoke up.
He was called Hugo Slater.
Since his school days, he had been skilled at following the big guys around as a lackey, excelling in flattery. After graduation, his life hadn’t been very smooth.
Now, seeing Parker Collins, a rich heir with resources and background, he wouldn’t miss this great opportunity to get close to him.
Parker Collins looked at him approvingly. This guy was good, suitable to be a lackey.
Anna frowned, a little annoyed. “Why isn’t Charlotte here yet?”
She was just about to make a call when the private room door was pushed open.
