“Arien stop…” Devian walked out following her out to the corridor.
“Just let go off me!” She shouted.
“Once… This once.. let me give an explanation” he spoke pulling her.
But she kept on cursing him and pulling away from him. “With that pose of both of yours, is there still something to be explained. You were with her for the whole night, didn’t you? You said she was just a family friend of you. But… But I saw it today how good your friendship is.”
“Stop!” He pulled her to the next room, the presidential room. “I can’t hold back right now!” Devian still had that same urge of doing ‘that’. He wasn’t able to stop himself. He had already pinned her on the bed with his force.
“You’re.. out of mind Devian! You can’t force me to anything! Let go off me!” Arien kept shouting but Devian was acting as if he couldn’t hear her rebels.
“Damn it! Why’s this man doing that! Why’s he so heavy I can’t move him. Hasn’t he had enough with Susan?” Arien’s mind was full of these thought. She wanted to escape from this man right now.
If I can’t push him away… I can only…
She wrapped her hand around his neck. “Devian..”
“Damn.. she’s doing it with me!” This was something he wasn’t able to control.
Maybe he could’ve controlled the effect of drug but this woman in front of him was something he couldn’t resist at all… Not for now… Or maybe never.
He was holding it deep inside.. the urge to pin her down like this. He kept on holding it back because he wanted her will. He didn’t want to force her. He was more considerate of her feelings than himself. He had never felt this way for any girl ever before. This was the first and the only time he was so fond of a girl.
He made her his wife by force but he wanted her heart as well. So he waited but today .. he can’t wait!
“Calm down” she said near his ears. This somehow made his throbbing heart calm a bit, then a bit more and finally he could control himself. Even if not completely, he now could at least understand what he was doing.
She got a chance and escaped from his arms as soon as she could, running out of the room at her fastest speed adjusting her clothes. She reached to the corridor and found Susan standing there leaning on the wall in a kind of half-naked condition.
Arien thought of just ignoring her and walked forward but Susan blocked the way. “Are you still going to be with him?” She spoke.
“Miss Hayes.” Arien regained her calm. “You want to create misunderstandings. That won’t work…”
But Susan interrupted, “You’re naive. These are the signs were together.” She pointed to the hickeys “And you… Wanna see how long we’ve been together?” Susan pulled Arien inside her room and threw a number of photos on the bed. “See for yourself”
“This… Can’t be” it was Devian. It was his face. How could she not recognise him. But the woman, he was beside was none other than Susan. They were really doing it! These pictures.. they were the proof.
And not only that they’ve met before as well, there were pictures of them entering into some other hotel room as well and even Devian hugging her. They were really… together.
Arien didn’t even give a glance to Susan who stood beside her, before turning to leave and took a step, not wanting to look at the pictures again. She wanted to leave but Susan blocked the way. “Do you think you’re so special to be the Ace Corporation’s CEO’S wife huh? You’re just another girl. Do you think such a prosperous man like Leo would choose you who has nothing.” Susan smirked “Huh! You’re just thinking too much of yourself.”
“CEO? Ace Corp CEO hnn.. he really is Devian Ace?” Arien’s fear was standing in front of her. She didn’t want such a man in her life but he was different. Her Devian Lyle was so different from the Ace Corporation’s president she had met. Although she didn’t see his face but she knew he wasn’t a good person the way he was. But now she has ended up being his wife.
“Can’t you hear me! Can’t you see he only has interest in me, not only now, he has been with me even before you came into his life. But still you want to be with him. Hmph! Such a shameless bitch you are Arien” Susan was clearly making fun of her.
What has now been revealed to Arien was much more depressing than any other bad incident ever happened to her. The only person she could trust after her parents, was already someone she never wanted yet she believed him because she didn’t know who he was. Arien was deceived by his gentleness and even the fake commitment in his eyes.
She wanted to leave everything now. If possible she wanted to erase him from her memory.
She walked out of the room through the corridor.
“Arien…” She heard Devian from behind but she didn’t stop rather she increased her speed.
She entered the lift and just as the door closed she cried. As much as she could, all the way down to the ground floor from the 50th. She felt empty. Nothing else but empty.
“Huh! How ironic, the weather was just fine and good right now but it has already become worse and gloomy, just like my life. It has already started raining. I’d have loved the rain but today…” Arien laughed at herself, at her situation.
There was still the effect of drug on his body which made him a little slow yet he was trying. Trying so hard to reach her, hold her and say her that she misunderstood.
But she has already left in her car when Devian reached down. He couldn’t think of anything else. He called Dean to track her and luckily Dean was somewhere around.
Knowing that his master was drugged, how could he not rush to him. He came driving, even crossing his speed limit.
But when he reached there, he could see Devian’s car had already left. He followed behind. “Director it’s not safe for you to drive in such a condition. Please stop the car and let me drive.” This was the first time Dean has seen him like this. Following a girl, although she was his wife, Dean couldn’t think that his ruthless master would put his life in danger for a woman. Does he really feel so strong for her?
“Director please stop the car!” Dean could do nothing except calling him through phone and requesting.
But Devian was not in a mood to stop.
On the other hand, Arien drove the car so fast.
Devian was worried because the speed she was driving was too dangerous. Even though he has seen her driving once when they were returning from the lover’s tower, it was night and above all, he was with her that night. Even if there was one in a million chance of something bad happen, he would’ve protected her and shielded her.
But today she was all alone driving even faster than before in such a busy road. How was he supposed to react. Definitely he’d be worried what else could he do, he can’t contact her nor could he stop her. He could just keep following.
