“Mr. Damon, I am Atty. Mielda, a lawyer and psychiatrist, I will handle your case.” Damon only gave a cold stare as he looked at the person in front of him.
“I have papers with me here, papers that will help you clear your name. There are also some that I requested from the hospital where you used to stay.” Said Atty. Mielda while taking out some papers in front of Damon.
“Damon, are there times when you talk to your alters?” Atty asked. Meilda to Damon, Damon didn’t answer instead he took a deep breath and then looked away.
“When will I see Erelah again?” Damon asked Atty. Mielda.
“There is no certainty yet Damon, you are under restriction because of what happened in the past, if you will help me to solve your case I will make sure that you will see Erelah.”
“Did Erelah visit me again while I was asleep?” Damon asked the person in front of him, Atty shook his head. Meilda as the answer, Damon’s aura became even colder. Damon faced the window, sadness in his eyes as he looked out.
“Erelah was hurt too much by what I said,” Damon said.
“Damon, there’s something you need to know.” Atty’s serious voice. Meilda so Damon looked at her. “Recently, Chai and Achaz have been going out several times, don’t you remember those events?” Atty asked. Meilda, Damon just gave a cold stare and then shook his head.
Atty took a deep breath. Meilda then played a voice record and played it to Damon.
“I WILL KILL YOU! I WILL KILL YOU! HAHAHAHAHAHA.”
“Damon calm down!” It was Draco’s voice that was afraid of his brother.
“I WILL KILL YOU ALL BY THE TIME I GET OUT OF HERE!”
“Damon!”
“Hold him, Nurse, inject him with a sleeping pill.”
“I WILL KILL YOU—”
The voice on the voice recorder of Atty. Meilda is the device.
“That’s the voice recording that was taken when I was about to subject you to a test.” Said Atty. Meilda. “Chai suddenly came out at that time, don’t you remember anything?” Atty asked. Meilda, Damon shook his head and suddenly bowed.
“We also can’t let you out of the facility so you can see Erelah because there is no certainty when Chai will come out again.” Said Atty. Meilda, Damon just nodded and then looked at Atty’s behavior. Meilda with a smile on her face.
“I understand,” Damon said with a smile. “Chai is dangerous so I understand if you ask me to see Erelah,” Damon said sarcastically.
“We didn’t ask you to see Erelah, Damon. We just don’t want anyone to get hurt again because of Chai and Achaz.” Explanation of Atty. Meilda.
“Why, Am I dangerous?” Damon asked looking at the person in front of him, Damon smiled at Atty. Meilda then repeated the question.
“Am I dangerous to heal?” Damon asked.
“I’m telling you, I’m not talking to Damon. Achaz” Atty said. Meilda suddenly laughed at the person in front of her.
“I can’t imitate Damon’s cold aura and cold look, the difference between the two of us is far away,” Ahaz said.
“You two are far apart.”
“Do you think Damon and Chai are the nicest?” Achaz asked Atty. Meilda.
Atty looked straight ahead. Meilda to Achaz who is smiling at him foolishly.
“Nothing.” Answered by Atty. Meilda. “None of you are nice because you have the same headache.” Atty Meilda said directly that Achaz laughed out loud.
Achaz shook his head and grabbed his chin as the handcuffs attached to him came down.
“You think Chai. Is he nice?” Ahaz asked.
“No.” Answered by Atty. Meilda and in an instant there was a disturbance again in the video recording, there were men who were holding Achaz who disappeared. It screams ‘I will kill you while Atty. Meilda had no trace of emotion on her face.
The video record went dead and a long silence reigned inside the courtroom. I swallowed hard and looked at Damon’s emotionless expression.
I felt the corner of my eye heat up until the tears that I was holding back continued to flow.
After I watched the video record, only one thought and realization came to my mind. That for a few days I won’t feel Damon after the hurtful words he said to me, that he missed me, he was looking for me and when he needed me I wasn’t by his side.
“That’s all your honor.” As mentioned by Atty. Meilda, the judge adjusted his seat and then looked at the people there.
“We will continue this hearing tomorrow at noon. The court is adjourned.” After the judge said that, the lawyers in front stood up, the clerk was saying something but I didn’t listen to it anymore, I immediately stood up and was about to Havacco and Gazer will get close to Damon and block me.
“Erelah.” They said together.
“I need to talk to Damon for a second.” When I asked the two, they shook their heads and took deep breaths.
Damon will be banned from speaking for three days while the case progresses and his case is heard. I looked at the one who spoke behind the two of them. Draco.
“Just a minute please, I just want to apologize to him,” I said, the three didn’t move so my tears flowed even more.
“Why.. why didn’t you even tell me that Damon was looking for me?” I asked crying.
“Because we know you’re going to see him Erelah,” Havacco replied.
“I’ll probably go see him because he needs me.”
“Atty. Mielda strictly told us not to tell you, Erelah, during the days that Damon was looking for you, Achaz and Chai were also looking for you to hurt you.” Draco said and pulled something out of his pocket, he flashed in front of me a video of Damon screaming Erelah I’ll kill you.
I covered my mouth, not because of the fear because of what I was watching but because of the mercy I was seeing, Three men restrained Damon and his feet and hands were locked and chained while something hit him in the head.
“Wait until the hearing is over, Erelah, you can also talk to Damon, even I want to talk to him but there’s nothing we can do, because the moment we violate and talk to Damon, the other side will accuse us of talking about what should be said here in court,” Gazer said, I looked at the behavior of Damon who was standing and ready to be taken out of court, Damon looked in my direction causing my tears to fall even more. A look with sadness in the eyes.
“Damon,” I called his name, I watched him leave the courtroom until only the four of us were left.
“We will win the case Erelah.”
