Chapter 95: Identity, Status, Treatment

Upon hearing Quentin’s provocative words, Nikolas wished he could immediately find a hole to crawl into. The people around them cast disdainful glances as well. Joe, who was chubby and round, squinted his eyes and said, “Dad, are you really going to eat shit in the toilet when we get home? Should Mom cook less tonight?”
“You…”
Joe’s words nearly made Nikolas explode with anger. He harshly slapped Joe on the buttocks and exclaimed, “You little brat, what nonsense are you talking about?”
“Dad, my teacher taught us that we should keep our promises,” Joe said, feeling extremely wronged.
Nikolas trembled all over. How did he, a man of great reputation, end up with such a foolish son? It was truly infuriating.
“You idiot, hurry up, we’ll be late,” he took a deep breath and pulled Joe inside.
After Quentin and the two entered, they paid no attention to the clownish Nikolas and went straight towards the classroom. It was no wonder that Sloburg Kindergarten was the top kindergarten in Stresall. The layout, greenery, and the size of the premises were all top-notch, which satisfied Quentin.
Arriving in front of a classroom, Quentin looked up and confirmed before gently knocking on the door, facing the teacher at the front.
“Hello!”
“Is this Class 18?”
The female teacher on the podium saw the two standing at the door with a child and immediately showed a warm smile. “Yes, you…”
Quentin calmly spoke, “We are the parents, and these two are our children who just transferred here.”
“Alright, please come in.” The teacher on the podium smiled brightly and walked over, squatting down. “Children, I am your music teacher. You can call me Cynthia.”
The two children sweetly greeted, “Hello, Cynthia!”
“Go inside quickly and remember to get along well with the other children and be polite to the teachers.” Cynthia gently touched the heads of the two little ones and smiled warmly.
“Sir and ma’ma, I’m Cynthia Kramer. I will take good care of your children in the future,” said the young girl with a bright smile and a gentle attitude.
“Thank you, miss.” Seeing Cynthia’s good attitude, Quentin and Charlotte secretly breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that their two children wouldn’t have a hard time at school.
However, just at that moment, Nikolas stopped in front of the classroom next door with Joe.
He looked at them with curiosity on his face and found it hard to believe that Quentin and Charlotte actually sent their children to study here?
How did they manage it! He still couldn’t believe it!
He had worked so hard to secure a spot through the Pittman family, just to enroll his son in this prestigious kindergarten… Yet these two, who were clearly inferior to him in every way, managed to have such good luck? He felt resentful!
Just the thought of it filled him with resentment and dissatisfaction.
What did he lack compared to these two? Why did he always end up on the losing side whenever he encountered them?
“Wait a moment,” Cynthia spoke up. “I’ll contact the director. All new students need to have their personal information recorded with her.”
“Okay!”
Quentin stood at the door and waited for about seven or eight minutes before seeing a middle-aged woman with short hair hurriedly approaching. Her face showed a solemn and meticulous expression.
However, when she saw Quentin and Charlotte, she managed a smile.
“Hello, sir and ma’ma!”
“Director, hello!” Charlotte was quite reserved, but Quentin simply nodded with a faint smile.
“Please follow me,” the director chuckled and led them to the office, asking them to sit across from her at the desk.
“Let me introduce myself first. I am one of the directors of the school, Rebecca Chan.”
“As per our school’s practice, when new students enroll, we need to conduct some personal background checks on the parents. Please cooperate with me,” Rebecca said in a friendly tone. Because the children who could attend this school came from affluent and prestigious families, it was best not to offend them.
“Okay, sure,” Charlotte replied somewhat reservedly.
“Both of you, may I ask for your names…”
“Quentin Holland.”
“Charlotte Pittman.”
Rebecca entered their names into the computer and quickly accessed their identity information through the internal intelligence system. However, her expression quickly changed.
What was going on? Could it be that their information was incomplete?
One was the abandoned daughter of the Pittman family, who had been expelled from the family, and the other was the former heir of the Holland family, a convicted rapist, and now a disgraced individual?
Her smile faded slightly as she asked, “May I ask if both of you hold any positions in certain organizations, special departments, family businesses, foundations, corporate executives… or if you have personal assets? Your social status and identity could, to some extent, influence the treatment your child receives in our school.”
She said these words expressionlessly, “Based on your records in Stresall, both of you can be considered… at the lowest level of existence in our Sloburg Kindergarten. If you don’t have any outstanding qualities in other aspects…”
She smiled coldly, “We are all adults here, I believe both of you understand.”
Charlotte’s heart tightened, while Quentin furrowed his brow.
