The forest of the Silver Moon Pack is much larger than that of the Blue Halo Pack.
Before, Emma had only just entered the Silver Moon Pack, and she hadn’t been back since. The trees here towered into the sky, their dense branches and leaves blocking out the sunlight.
In the forest, there were the sounds of birds and insects, as well as a few wolf howls. Emma wondered if the patrolling wolves knew that their Alpha had entered here, had Harry notified them?
Walking cautiously through the forest, Emma felt the day darkening. Unlike the forest of the Blue Halo Pack, there was no familiar rock here, nor were there friendly pack members.
She felt countless eyes upon her, as if the darkness itself sought to consume her.
Where could Patrick be? Was he injured? Had he turned back?
Emma’s concern for Patrick surpassed her fear. For the first time, she wished she had the instincts of a wolf; that way, she would have a stronger insight into her surroundings. As it was, she could only rely on her heightened physical senses and night vision to discern whether a lost wolf was present in the forest.
The moon emerged, exceptionally bright tonight. At the same time, Emma felt herself being guided by a scent, almost certain it was Patrick’s. She didn’t know if it was the Alpha’s pheromones or if the moon goddess intentionally let her catch a whiff of the scent.
Her pace quickened, and she could perceive where the scent was strongest.
As she ran deeper into the forest, illuminated by the moonlight, she saw a massive wolf lying there.
“Patrick!” Emma called out softly.
She cautiously approached the giant wolf, but it seemed to be asleep. Its fur was stained with patches of blood, whether its own or poor Rory’s, she didn’t know.
As Emma mustered the courage to reach out and touch the wolf, it suddenly opened its eyes.
Emma’s scream was stifled in her throat; she didn’t want to offend or startle the Alpha.
“Patrick?” Emma attempted to ask in the gentlest tone possible.
But the wolf let out a low growl, warning her to leave.
“I won’t leave, and I won’t hurt you either,” Emma paused, “The moon goddess led me here; you should trust her.”
The wolf’s expression softened somewhat, and as Emma trembled, she reached out to stroke its muzzle, looking into its dark, deep eyes. “Are you very sad?”
She could sense Patrick’s struggle, his avoidance.
Emma cried; she knew she couldn’t lose Patrick. “You brought me back; you can’t leave like this. You have to take responsibility.”
She continued to plead with Patrick to wake up, not noticing that as she wept, the wolf’s pupils suddenly contracted.
So much so that the next moment, the wolf suddenly struggled angrily, pushing her down before she could react.
“Patrick, no!!!” Emma realized that the massive wolf was tearing at her clothes, and the parts of her skin touched by the wolf’s claws and tongue began to sting and burn.
The wolf continued to fervently lick her, its rough tongue passing over her chest, brushing against her erect nipples, causing her to gasp in surprise.
The wolf licked her entire body as if she were about to become its meal, and she felt the dampness between her thighs, as if she, too, desired this roughness.
The wolf’s warm tongue moved from her navel to her legs, beginning to tease her flesh, continuously pulling and enticing her hidden clitoris, making it sensitive and pleasurable.
“Oh, no!” This contact was too primal, too embarrassing, yet the constant stimulation left her unable to resist.
Soon, Emma experienced her first climax in life.
Her mind blank, she seemed to see countless fireworks, and the primal contact with the wolf made her feel as though her body no longer belonged to her.
Florence had spoken to her about these matters concerning men and women, about soulmates, about union, but she had never paid attention to the details. All she knew was that what came next would be painful.
“Patrick, Patrick, don’t, I’m scared.” Her body longed for it, but mentally she hadn’t accepted it, hadn’t confirmed it; she began to yearn for the gentle Patrick.
Unexpectedly, the wolf left her. Emma, panting, stole a glance at where the wolf was, only to see it pacing restlessly around her, continuously shaking its head, making irritable sounds; it was fighting with the wolf.
“Patrick?” Emma covered her exposed body with scraps of cloth and sat up, attempting to call out.
This time, the massive wolf perked its ears up, raised its head, its gaze becoming clear and gentle. It slowed its steps, walked up to Emma, and lowered its head to lick her face.
Suddenly, Emma heard a sound in the bushes. The wolf let out a low growl and used itsfront paws to scoop Emma into its embrace, shielding her with its body.
Perhaps it was a patrolling wolf, or maybe some other creature, but at the moment when Alpha declared dominance, the sound disappeared.
Emma felt the familiar sense of safety, Patrick took over his wolf, but he couldn’t recover yet. Emma reached out and touched the wolf’s face, giving it a kiss. “Thank you.”
Patrick gently rubbed his forehead against Emma’s face, then sighed contentedly, lying down beside her.
The wolf’s fur was warm. After a whole day of running around, Emma’s nerves finally relaxed, and she almost immediately slipped into slumber.
…
Emma woke up amidst a commotion, as if many people were rushing over, and it was already bright outside.
She came to her senses to find herself in Patrick’s arms, both of them naked, embracing each other.
“Patrick!” What was even worse was that Emma recognized the voice as Jennifer’s.
The voices behind were also becoming more and more familiar. She hoped they would bring clothes for her and Patrick; she didn’t want to be found naked.
Patrick had not woken up, which was unusual.
Emma felt his breath, but for some reason, he had fallen into a deep sleep.
Running ahead of the group was Harry. As soon as he saw the situation, he immediately turned around. “Oh! I hope he doesn’t gouge out my eyes.” Following closely behind, Nicola took out a intact white dress from her embrace, not even glancing at Emma and tried to pull her away from Patrick’s embrace.
But at that moment, Patrick held on tightly.
“Harry! Come help!” Nicola called out. Harry could only reluctantly come over to separate Patrick from Emma.
Emma gratefully put on the clothes, and Jennifer and Nelson led the larger group that had arrived.
“Did you two mate?” she asked bluntly.
“No. Strictly speaking, it was he who turned into a wolf and trapped me,” Emma said irritably.
Jennifer glared at her but didn’t ask anything further; she went to check on Patrick’s condition with Harry. He still hadn’t woken up.
Nelson, looking at Emma with her disheveled hair, licked his lips, opened his mouth several times, and eventually gave up, running to accompany Jennifer.
“Thank you, Nicola, otherwise I might have had to walk around this forest naked,” Emma said as Nicola helped her up. She had curled up in Patrick’s embrace the previous night, not stretching her legs, and now they felt very sore.
“You shouldn’t have rushed in like that. What if you encountered a wild wolf? And he, out of control, could have easily killed you,” Nicola scolded.
“Is being dead better than now?”
“What?”
Under Nicola’s stern gaze, Emma stuck out her tongue; she knew Nicola cared for her.
“When you came in, your clothes were all torn. I happened to have found a dress ready to give to you to change, but I didn’t expect it would be such a thorough change,” Nicola mentioned the embarrassing situation, causing Emma to blush belatedly.
“What happened last night? How did he turn back after you came in?”
“I probably just calmed down our sensitive Alpha a bit.” As for the way of calming, it’s not easy to say.
Nicola clearly didn’t believe her; she raised her eyebrows but didn’t ask further.
After returning, Emma received some treatment. She only had some superficial injuries, so the doctor instructed her a few things, then she went back home.
Rory was said to be out of danger but still undergoing treatment, while Patrick, due to excessive exertion, a bit of malnutrition, and lack of sleep, was currently in the hospital receiving a saline drip while sleeping.
Patrick, who had turned into a wolf, pushed Emma down twice, and her back and shoulders were covered in bruises. When she calmed down, her whole body felt uncomfortable.
Suddenly, Emma remembered the TV shows about training dogs in the human world, as if there were special programs for how to train large dogs from pouncing on humans.
“Emma, what are you laughing at?” May knew she had returned home and brought her yogurt and some beef to replenish her.
“Nothing. I’m full, thank you, May.”
“Then I’ll leave first, rest well,” May turned to open the door, but another person came in. “Madam?!”
Jennifer entered Emma’s room, so Emma simply curled up in her covers, turning her back to Jennifer and fell asleep.
“I’m very tired,” Emma said.
“My son is still asleep in the hospital. Don’t you want to explain all this?” Jennifer’s voice was harsh.
Emma didn’t want to argue with her, but the next moment, she felt a pain in her scalp, Jennifer had pulled her out of bed.
“What are you doing? Crazy! You have no right to treat me like this!” Emma cursed angrily. She’d had enough! She really should leave this place with Rory.
“No right? Now that Alpha is ina coma, as the former Luna of the Silver Moon Pack, I have the right to judge you!”
“What?” Emma didn’t understand what she meant.
“Let’s go, Emma Bess! You have endangered the safety of Alpha, you need to face the judgment of the elders!”
