Jerome who was talking on the phone saw Denyx came in the room and he was surprised.
She looked at Chloe but her head is lowered and seemed to not know who is standing near the door she was in her own thoughts.
Denyx also was stunned to see Jerome when he pushed the door to see who is with her.
His cold gaze fell into her but it seems she doesn’t bother to look at the person who was standing.
Jerome took the initiative to greet him first.
He stood up to show respect to the CEO of Moore Corporation as he is one of Johnson’s business partner in some projects in L. A.
” Mr. Moore what a coincidence to see you here.”
When Chloe heard Jerome called him Mr. Moore she became stiffed.
She raised her head and looked at him standing in the door.
Denyx looked at Chloe, he saw her face was cold like an ice. He moved his gaze to Jerome ” Oh, it was happened that I am in the opposite VIP room. I saw Miss Mack came in this room and I thought I could join you for dinner? ” Jerome couldn’t say no to him even he felt sour for him because he knew Chloe won’t like it.
He waved his hand to asked him to sit down.
” Sure Mr. Moore! Have a sit of you don’t mind at all joining us. ”
Denyx stepped forward and chose the chair next to Chloe.
” May sit next to you Miss Mack?”
Chloe looked at him in a cold face.
” Help your self Mr. Moore. ”
Even she doesn’t want it but since he offered himself to join them she has no choice but to accept.
Denyx sat next to her and she can smell the strong desires of his perfume.
This smell is soothe to her taste. She was nervous that Denyx will call her Anna again but she kept herself calm like he doesn’t exist.
“Mr. Moore would you like to order something?”
Jerome asked Denyx for courtesy.
“No, thanks. I’ll asked my secretary to tell the waiter to send my order here.”
Chloe ignored his presence. Denyx moved his head to the left and looked at Chloe.
“So, you’re here for a meeting?”
Denyx asked.
He doesn’t want to think that they’re couple as the clerk said and he is hoping in his heart that they’re not.
She shrugged her shoulders.
” We are here for dinner, not for a meeting.” She said without looking him back.
“Oh, I see.”
He was expected for a clear answer but the woman next to him said no explanation.
He felt pinched in his heart like thousands of ant bites. There were silent in the room.

Alex looked at his wrist watch and 20 minutes had passed but there was no sign of his young master’s appearance.
“Where did he go? It’s so strange that he took that long to go to the restroom.”
He was thinking when Elle asked.
“Where is Denyx? Have he forgotten to comeback here or does something happen?” Alex looked at her and came back to his senses.
“Miss Elle should wait here I will check young master to the restroom.”
She breathe deeply.
” No, I’ll come with you. How can I be calm here when his not yet back.”
She stood up before him and grabbed her bag. Alex pushed the chair and stood up too.
” If that’s what you want Miss. Elle let’s go. ” Alex opened the door and both of them went out to the VIP room and went straight to the restroom.
They searched but there was no sign of Denyx.
“Where did he go Alex? Why he haven’t inform us?”
She took out her phone in her bag and about to call him when she heard Denyx voice.
” Wait a minute isn’t it his voice?”
I heard his voice coming that room?”
Elle and Alex were near to the VIP room where Chloe was when Elle heard Denyx voice.
She walked closer to the room with angry face and without knocking on the door she pushed it and it was opened.
Chloe and Jerome was stunned.
“Baby why are you here? We were worried that you haven’t came back to our room and yet you’re here without informing us?”
Alex was stunned to see Chloe and Jerome.
” Good evening Miss Mack and Mr. Johnson.” My apologies for not knocking on your door. We thought something happens to young master Moore since he haven’t come back to our room for quite sometime.”
Chloe looked at Elle.
She’s beautiful elegant but she doesn’t like this woman in front of her.
Her heart become uneasy when she heard her call Denyx baby.
“So she’s her woman huh.”
She thought of her impression to the woman. Although she’s beautiful but of course Elle’s beautiful cannot compare to her.
She wore a thick make up and Chloe is natural beauty that even she’s not using make up but her natural pinkish cheeks and her flowless skin is noticeable by any men.
Denyx didn’t contradict to Elle because he knows he did wrong, even himself can’t believe of what he had done.
He never feel it before. But Chloe’s appearance couldn’t ignore by him.
” I was about to call you but you came here before my call.”
He replied without any doubt of regret.
Chloe moved her head to the right side and looked at Denyx.
Their eyes met but there was a coldness in her eyes.
She pulled her gaze from him and looked at Elle who pulled a chair and sat next to Denyx. “Since you’re here we will also join you. ” Jerome was surprised with Elle’s presence but he made himself calm and smiled to Alex.
” Have a sit too Mr. Grunt.” He met Alex Grunt already in Mr. Moore’s office and he can tell that he is a good assistant and good person.
” Thank you Mr. Johnson’s for your hospitality. I’m sorry once again for the sudden interruption.”
Chloe look at Alex.
“It’s okay Alex, don’t worry since your boss is here you can join us too.”
Alex vowed and pulled a chair next to Jerome. Elle put her hands to Denyx arm.
“Baby will you introduce me to them?”
He glanced at Chloe and nodded his head and pulled his hand from Elle’s touched.
His face was cold.
“Mr. Johnson and Miss Mack this is Ella Manor.”
Chloe raised her right eyebrow when Elle proudly called him baby.
There was a pinched in her heart when she heard it.
Jerome twitches his lips and extended his hand to shake hand with Ella.
“Please to meet you Miss Ella Manor.”
Elle reached Jerome’s hand and shook hands with him.
Chloe doesn’t like the feeling being around with Elle but she stayed calm.
She stood up and shook her hand with her as well.
“Nice meeting you Miss Manor.”
She doesn’t want to be rude with her especially she’s an actress who happened to be under her advertising Agency.
She’s one of the Actress/model who signed contract under the Johnson Agency but she doesn’t know that Chloe was the CEO because she never appear to the company.
Her identity is always hidden to her businesses.
Even Jerome doesn’t come to her Advertising company she always have people who manages and reports with her.
Claudia is the known of the head of her advertising Agency and she’s the one who reported to her personaly.
Jerome is assigned to her Real Estate Company. Johnson’s Company is the biggest Real Estate in Boston.
Chloe wanted to expand her business in L. A to take revenge to Moore and choosing Denyx as a bait for her plans is exactly what she wanted.
She convinced him to invest to her business in L. A so she can easily get closer to the Moore Corporation but she’s assistant to their knowledged as Jerome is the front CEO.
Elle doesn’t know that Chloe is one of the successful woman in Industry and her natural beauty is really shown.
She always keep her profile low because of her plan.
When Elle saw the hand of Chloe reaching out to her to shake hands she looked at her and ignored her hospitality.
She raised her eyebrows and snorted.
“And who are you?”
She was annoyed when she entered the room to see Denyx sitting next to her and her heart went sour thinking of it.
Chloe withdraw her hand and sat down again without looking at her and replied.
“I’m Chloe Mack the assistant of Johnson CEO Mr. Jerome Johnson.”
Her tone is cold.
“This woman is really rude. I wonder what Denyx like her about.”
She said but in her self only.
Elle sat down again besides Denyx with a charming smile.
When the food serves Jerome picked up some salad for Chloe and put in her plate. When Elle saw it she was jealous.
“Oh, the CEO is serving food for her assistant. Isn’t it the assistant should serve and take care the boss? ”
Chloe ignored her but Jerome smiled.
” It’s okay, Chloe had been working for me for quite long, she was been taking care of me and it’s okay to take care of her too. ”
When Denyx heard it he was angry but remained cold.
He wanted to hug Chloe but he can’t do anything about it and when her boss is passionate to serve her it made him frustrated.
Elle just snorted and noticed Denyx is not in a good mood she picked up some dishes and put in his plate too.
” Baby you should eat. Take care of yourself I know you’re so busy.”
She put the piece of meat and fish in his plate. ” Denyx didn’t say a word but simply glanced to Chloe who is busy eating her salad.
” Why are you eating only salad?”
He picked up some meat and peeled the Shrimp and put in her plate.
Chloe looked at him with a surprised. Jerome was stunned as well of Denyx actions.
Alex was the most surprised to saw his boss doing it since he never care with anyone in his life.
Everything is serves for him except for today. Elle was so furious when she saw Denyx putting the food for Chloe.
She looked at her with hatred but made her self calmed outside.
