His thoughts was occupied with the beautiful face of Chloe.
Suddenly his phone rang.
He took out his phone in his pocket and pressed the button to answer the call but before he could say a word the other line is already spoken.
” Hey baby I’m back to L. A. I’m on my way to see you.”
Denyx frowned and said.
” I thought your in California Elle? What happen to your taping there?”
He straighten his body to sat straight.
“Oh, baby I’m done with the taping. We just finished it within two weeks and we were done so I just landed here in the airport in L. A. Where are you? I’m going there.”
Elle is the daughter of Arnold Hope his step father’s friend.
They’re trying to match her for him. But he has no romance interest for her but they also become close because to their parents special relationship.
Elle and Denyx went to the same school when they were in secondary and she was in love with him and she’s willing to wait until his heart is ready to love him.
“Hmm I’m on my way to Arc restaurant for dinner.”
He spoke to her with a cold tune.
” Then perfect I’m hungry and I will come straight to the Arc restaurant. See you in a while. ”
She then hang up the call before he could say anything. He shook his head and sigh deeply. He doesn’t like Elle to expect more and more to love her in return.
He knew that her love for him is serious but he can’t tell her directly because of their friendship as well.
Both their parents are very close each other as well but sooner or later he can’t let her wait for him for nothing.
In his heart there’s only one person he deeply cared but she’s already gone and Chloe’s appearance made him uneasy.
After ten minutes Alex and Denyx reached the Arc restaurant. Alex and Denyx opened the car doors in the same time and get done.
They walked straight to the receptionist.
” Good evening Mr. Moore and Sir Alex please follow me to your VIP reservation room.”
The clerk lead them to the elevator.
“Ding…”
The elevator opened and she pressed the level 2 button.
” Ding… ”
The elevator door opened and she turned to the left for their reservation room.
Denyx looked at the right side VIP room. And she noticed his eyebrows knitted.
” Oh Mr. Moore there are new couple in the next room this is their first time here in the restaurant.”
She explained although she really doesn’t know the relationship of the people inside, she assumed that they are couple as she saw how close they were.
Usually there’s no other costumers in this floor except him but today someone occupied the room and they are couple.
He nodded his head and went straight to his VIP reservation room.
He is very familiar with this place so after the clerk sent them to the room she left.
The process of placing orders in the restaurant is very convenient because everyone will just choose the dishes in their high tech menu tablet and tap.
Finish then it will appeared in their system which table and rooms the orders belong to. Denyx sat on the chair and Alex sat next opposite to him.
“Young master should we wait for Miss Elle or should you order first?”
Alex asked him.
“Let’s order first, she will be here soon so she can order later when she arrive.
” Okay then let’s choose our food. ”
Two of them chose their foods and place the orders.
After ten minutes Elle arrived at the restaurant too. The clerk brought her upstairs and let her in where Denyx VIP room was.
The clerk opened the door and Elle went inside.
” Hi baby I’m here.”
She walked next to Denyx with excitement. “Denyx gave her a nod and he didn’t bother himself to stand up.
Elle pulled the chair next to his chair and sat beside him.
When Denyx doesn’t bother look at him she always understand that she has to be patient of waiting for this man to love him.
She used to it already and she’s willing to wait more. She put her bag on the chair next to where she’s sitting.
“Hi Alex how are you?”
Alex looked at her with a pity smile.
“I’m good Miss Elle, and you?”
She shrugged her shoulder.
“I’m good. Finally the taping in California was over and I did able to comeback earlier.”
Alex nodded his head.
” okay that’s good for you then.”
Denyx has a blank expression. Elle raises her eyebrows and looked at him.
“Are you okay baby? You seemed lost.”
She touched Denyx hand.
He looked at her with a cold face and pulled his hand.
“Yeah, I’m fine. You can order your food now and place it.”
His face expression was cold that Elle didn’t say any contradiction.

Chloe and Jerome was waiting in the room for their meal to come when Chloe decided to refresh her self. As today she cried and her eyes are quite swollen.
” Buddy I need to use the refreshing room. Our food haven’t come yet so I will go freshing up my self first.”
Jerome nodded his head.
” Okay honey pie go ahead. I will call Liza too may be she’s finish with her work. She was so busy today for her new branch launch.”
He added.
Chloe stood up and pulled down her blouse a bit then picked up her hand bag on the chair next to her and walked to the door and opened it.
She lowered her head and doesn’t notice that the next door was opened and Denyx was looking at her coming out of the room.
Denyx sat closer to the door and it was not totally close.
When the door of the opposite room was opened he was shocked to see that Chloe was coming out from inside the room.
“So she is with the other guy?”
He felt a pinched in his heart. He reminded the clerk said the opposite VIP room is occupied with couple.
Elle and Alex didn’t notice his facial expression had changed as they were busy exchanging words.
He saw Chloe went to the refreshing room and he also stood up.
“Excuse me guys I will go to the bathroom.” Without anyone’s answers he stood up and walked to the door and went straight to the refreshing room.
Chloe closed her eyes and was washing her face when the door opened she didn’t hear the squeak sound of the door because of the flowing water.
When Denyx opened the door he saw Chloe’s eyes was closed and she was washing her face leaning toward the sink.
She was wearing a fitting jeans and light blue blouse that has printed flowers on it.
She looked very sexy and gorgeous that showing her curve.
Denyx swallowed his saliva and his Adams apple moved.
His heart beat faster that he wanted to get closer to her. He was enjoying her every movement.
When Chloe finished washing her face she opened her eyes to took a tissues next to her but she was stunned to see him standing behind her and their eyes met and lock up. She couldn’t mutter a word for being surprised her mouth was half open but no words came out. Her face was still wet because she was shocked.
Denyx moved closer to her and took a tissue and wipes the water on her face. She came back from her senses when he touched her face to wipes it.
She stepped back two times.
“What are you doing? And why are you here?”
She reached the tissue paper on his hand and wiped her face.
Not answering her questions he moved forward to her again and pulled her waist closer to him and they were inch afar.
Chloe’s face look so pale and confused but her heart beats so fast.
They both look at each other and both of them were silent that only two heart beats they could hear.
Denyx left hand was holding her waist and and he lifted his right hand and caressed her face with his knuckles.
“Anna.”
Chloe’s mind was in a messed but when she heard him call her Anna she came back to her senses again and got angry.
She pushed him so hard which made Denyx stepped back then.
she picked up her bag next to the sink and look at him with cold and furious look then left the refreshing room.
She walked so fast to their VIP room and breathed heavily.
Jerome was on the call with Liza when she came in so he didn’t see her facial expression. She settled down her self sitting quietly while Jerome was smiling talking to Liza.
“Why he kept calling me Anna? Does he know me before? But Anna was dead.
I haven’t heard his name and see Moore’s children before so it’s impossible that we know each other.
He might have someone who happened to have named Anna.”
She was in a deep thoughts when the door of their room was opened.

Denyx was also shocked of what he did.
When he saw Chloe he couldn’t stop himself following her.
And when he found her in the refreshing room he doesn’t think of anything but to see her and the gestured he made was unexpected for him too.
He was out of control of his actions.
“I even called her Anna again and she doesn’t felt anything about it and she was angry and pushed.”
He talked to himself. It was like a slapped on his face that she wasn’t Anna but Chloe Mack. But his heart cannot lie to him.
His heart beats with excitement and it was obvious. He clench his fist.
“Shit if she wasn’t Anna I should stop thinking about her being Anna.”
He let go of a deep sigh and walked out the door of the refreshing room walking toward the VIP room where Chloe is and her lover.
He was so angry to know who the guy is and he doesn’t know why.
He pushed the door and it was opened. Chloe who was sitting opposite to Jerome was in her own thoughts.
Her head was lowered and doesn’t look at the person who opened the door.
