“yes”I stuttered, I don’t want to have any conversation with her, she’s going to ask me some questions I don’t have answers to.
What’s she doing at the beach?, What does she want from Enea?.
“You called me too?, on the day you went to the beach?”She questioned again and I turned to her in surprise.
I never told her I went to the beach, I only asked if she’s at home.
“How did you know I went to the beach?”
“Huh…., I thought you told me, I…”
“I never did, I didn’t inform you I went to the beach, Is there something going on that you’re not telling me?”I asked but she didn’t reply, She became uncomfortable and started picking on her nails, it was frustrating.
I only wants to know what she knew about Enea, But she’s not telling me.
“Nan…”
“There’s no need of asking because I won’t tell you anything, Just be careful around your boyfriend, I’m sure you don’t want to get involved in his messy world”
“Messy world?, You think Enea will hurt me?, He will never do that because he cared for me, And I want to know whatever transpired between the two of you”
“I don’t know, Nothing happened”She rushed her words before leaving the room.
ENEA POV
After leaving Alessia dorm, I drove to Ryan’s place, The hidden house I got for him last week, He insisted on not staying with us at the main building.
Getting there, I couldn’t find him in the living room, I assumed he’s at the balcony.
My guess was right afterall, There he is, Smoking heavily from the stick stucked in between his fingers, shirtless.
I sighed before walking up to him. “Hey” I greeted softly and he turned to me.
“It took you so much time before coming, You’re ignoring me already?”He asked annoyingly and I closed my eyes in frustration.
“Liliana was sick.. okay?, and I couldn’t leave Tyler to it, I had to stay with her”
“I know, I knew everything, I was in the club that particular night”
“Then why didn’t you save her?”I yelled angrily and he scoffed.
Ryan can be dumb and stupid sometimes, I don’t know whatever he was doing in the club but he knew Liliana to be one of my girls, He should have saved her, She wouldn’t have lost the baby.
“You know I’m on the run?, I don’t want anyone to recognize me and it’s none of my business, He’s one of Otis boys, The one you kil*led, I don’t have any back up, Or nothing, How did you expect me to stay there and fight them or defend Liliana?, I’m not dumb”
“Whatever, You called?”
“Yes, Who’s that chic?”He inquired, I know he’s talking about, Alessia, He hates women, Dude doesn’t do love.
“Who?”I asked trying to be ignorant and he scoffed again.
“That italain I saw in your house with your hoodie”
“Alessia, My girl”
“Your girl?, or girlfriend?”He teased and I sighed.
“Any name that suits you”I shrugged.
“When did you start doing that sh*it?”
“I’m not sure of my feelings for her, But she’s definitely not a fling”
“Don’t let any of your workers be your weakness, It will surely affect you”
“They aren’t my workers, They are my friends, We builded this mafia together”I stated.
“I know you wouldn’t budge”
“Stop trying then”I mumbled and turned to leave but he stopped me.
“Is there anything I can help you with?”
“Remember you’re on the run”
“It doesn’t matter, I will help you”
“Then come to the warehouse tomorrow”
“See you there”He puffed out the smoke to my face, I smiled darkly before leaving the balcony.
NANCY POV
“How did you get yourself exposed?, Romano only instructed you to watch them”Martins yelled and I sigh.
“A guy came, I don’t know him, He put him to awareness that I will be there soon, That’s how they found out about me”
“Oh, Fu*ck!, This is messed up already, You ruined everything, Nancy”He yelled.
“It was never my fault, You guys should stop blaming him”
“You will have go say that in front of Chris, I’m sorry but you will have to follow me”
“Fine, Even if he’s going to kill me,, I’m tired already”I slammed my phone on the car already, He grabbed my hands and pull me to himself.
“Calm down, I’m sorry for shouting on you”He apologized in a softer tone and I sigh.
“It’s fine”I closed my eyes trying to calm my anger, I felt his soft hands on my cheeks and raise my face up at him, I stared into his cute face and closed my eyes, again.
I don’t want to have anything to do with Martins even though, he’s tempting as fu*ck, I turned my face away but his lips captured mine already.
I opened my eyes in shock and tried pushing him away but he pulled me back.
“Relax”He coaxed, His soft lips drive into my mouth, Awaking the lusts in me.
He cupped my butts and squeeze it softly, I moaned into the kiss gently, He pulled away after a while.
“You will be fine, I will talk to Chris”He assured me, I nodded and open the car door.
We both entered and he drove me to Chris house.
We got there later in the night, I opened the car and walked levelly into the house.
There, I met the bas*tard smoking from fjs pipe.”Good evening boss”I greeted with my lips shaking, Martins came to join me and he turned to us, The usual smirk on his face.
“Where’s the girl?”He asked referring to me and I pressed my lips together.
“Martins sent for…”
“I asked where the girl is, Stop giving me irrelevant information”He yelled and three the glass wine at me but Martins hugged me immediately making it land on his head.
“Martins!”I yelled and held his face, He smiled sadly at me. “I’m fine”He mouthed but I shook my head.
“You’re not fine..”
“Trying to protect her now?”He grins and walked up to me.
“I give you two weeks to find the girl and bring her to me, Else, I won’t hesitate to have your head in my hand”He threatened before walking away.
“Let’s go to the hospital”
“Take me to my house, I have medical kits there”He turned me down slowly and I nodded before taking him to the car.
