TYLER POV
A week later…
Liliana will be discharged today, I planned on getting her some fruits and veggies on our way home.
After signing the documents, I helped her to the car as she’s not able to walk well. Driving through the streets, I decided to play her favorite artist songs, The Weeknd.
She started vibing to it in high spirit. “How did you know I love Weeknd songs?”she asked batting her eyes lashes and I chuckled.
“I know you like it, We were closer before you lost your memory”
“It’s sad that no one is ready to tell me what led to the incident, And the blood too”She muttered sadly, I held her hand and squeezed it tightly.
“You don’t need to know, Let’s focus on you regaining your memory so you can go back to your normal life”
“Are you the one to be in charge of taking care of me till I regain my memory back?”She asked again and I nodded.
“You want me to do something for you?”
“No, not now, I was curious since I won’t be able to take my bath myself”
“I will surely help”
“Thanks”she mumbled with a small smile hanging on her face and I nodded. Getting to the grocery store, I drove in and park at a safe corner.
“Where are you going to?”she asked looking around.
“I need to get you some fruits and veggies, the doctor said it’s important for you to recuperate faster”
“Ohh, can I follow you?”
“Nope, you can’t walk at this moment”
“Let me go with you, I promise not to stress you”
“Alright”I agrees immediately.
We entered the gorcery shop, I instructed her to wait beside the entrance so I can get the stuffs quickly.
After making payment at the counter, I was surprised to see her with a pregnant woman, Holding a boy by her left and her shopping bags at the right, Liliana was grinning from ear to ear as she chats with them.
“Is there a problem?”I possums and she shook her head childishly.
“Is she your girlfriend?”The woman asked smiling and I moved uneasily.
I can’t say she’s my girlfriend, I confessed my love to her already but I lost her the moment she had partial amnesia.
“Sorry for asking such an uncomfortable question, She stopped me a while ago and complients my baby bump, Guess she love babies”Dhe chuckled and I drooped immediately.
I never had any plans of having a baby, But I was rest assured that even if we have a baby, I will never have issues with it because Liliana loves pregnant women, And she wished to be one.
“Can’t you see it’s so cute?, I wished I have one”She pouted her mouth cutely and I nodded sadly.
“Sorry for wasting your time, Let’s go, Liliana”I says turning to her and she looked at me in confusion.
“Uhhh?…, Suree, We can go now”She nodded with a small smile and followed me out.
“Are you angry at me?”She asked later in the car and I shook my head.
“No, I was angry at myself, I denied you something you wished for before losing your memory?, Are you sure you will be able to fix me somewhere in your life?”
“I don’t know whatever you did but if you’re good to me, I will assume that what you did was never your fault, We can’t keep blaming ourselves”
“Hmmm”I hummed not knowing what to say.
Getting to the house, Alessia was around preparing dinner, Enea went out to get some drinks.
My mind drifted to Kenny the moment we entered and I sighed.
Seems I will pay her a visit these days, I’m sure she learnt her lessons already.
“Is Alessia in?”she asked the moment we stepped down and I nodded.
“I…”
“Liliana!”She yelled rushing out of the kitchen and hugged her tightly.
“Heyy, I’ve missed you so much”She coaxed cleaning the tears dripping down her eyes and Alessia chuckled.
“Stop acting like a baby, I’ve missed you too, Hope you’re getting better?”
“Yes, just that I won’t be able to do most of my things myself, But Enea was kind enough to find someone for me, I’m surely in safe hands”She whispered turning to me and chuckled.
Alessia smiled uneasily and understood immediately.
“Would you like some chicken broth?, you will surely love it”
“Of course”She smiled sweetly and scurried to the dinning to devour her plate.
After eating, I carried her carefully to the room and locked the door.
“I need to take my bath, I can’t sleep”She stuttered and I nodded before turning to her.
I took off my shirt and she moved away from me immediately. “What are you doing?”
“Ohh, I’m sorry I made you uncomfortable, I don’t like putting on shirts”
“It’s fine”she mumbled and I moved closer to her to help her take off the dress.
After doing that, I took off her panties and bra, Her heart was beating rapidly as I undress her.
The bandage wrapped around her head is still intact, I made sure I don’t touch it.
“You will be wearing shirts for now, the bandage might hurt”
“Yes, my head is banging”She said softly and sat on the bed.
“You need some water?”I placed my hand on her shoulder but she shook her head.
“No, I don’t want”Even a blind man could see that she’s obviously in pains, I lay her carefully on the bed and cover her body with the bed sheets.
“You will be fine, Just hold on”
“Thank you”she whispered again before drifting to sleep.
KENNY POV
It’s been two weeks already, I never wished things will be like this, It went so bad, I started living with Hayden and the stubborn as*s isn’t giving up on me soon, He started working as a part time waiter to cater for our needs, I resumed school too, He’s trying to impress his Dad in every way he could but the dead-walking man isn’t ready to show him his good side.
Everyone knows he missed Enea, Who wouldn’t?, He’s the perfection of a good son, He acts like he doesn’t care about everyone but deep down, I know he does.
And I wished I didn’t get on his bad side, Things wouldn’t have be like this.
The door opens and I snapped out of my reverie, I looked up to see Hayden walking inside the house with gorcery bags and raw foods.
“Heyy”I smiled happily and rushed to help him.
“Don’t worry, I can handle this”He smiled and took them to the kitchen while I followed him duly.
“What are you up to since?”He asks as he lighten the gas, Ready to do the cooking but I stopped him.
“Let me handle it this time around, you’ve bene the one working endlessly for us, I want to be useful too”
“You know this is the most happiest moment of my life?”He grinned as he bring out the onions and I furrowed my brows in confusion.
“Happiest moment?”
“Yes, Because I finally did something useful, Maybe I’m not useless afterall”He shrugged in a sad smile and I chuckled.
“Tell me everything, Don’t hold the words”I demands and grab his face, He sighed and rolled his lips in a thin line, Contemplating.
“You wanna know it all?”
“Yes, please”
“Sure, I will”
