When the sun shone into the room in the morning, Baron finally stopped.
The phone rang again. In order not to disturb Hazel, he went to the living room to answer the phone.
“Mr. Floyd, bad news!”
On the other end of the phone, Dave was very anxious as he had just got news from home that Baron’s father, one of the major shareholders of the Floyd Group, had a car accident a few hours ago and was in a coma.
“I see.”
Baron’s face turned gloomy. He finished the cigarette and slowly calmed down.
Marvin was in a deep coma and could die at any time.
Since Baron was young, his parents had been very strict with him. Baron remembered that he had a great burden of studies.
Baron’s parents got married for commercial benefits, and they had no feelings for each other. They had children only because the Floyd family needed an heir. That was all.
In his childhood, Baron did not celebrate his birthday. Baron would be very envious when he saw that the servant’s son could eat a birthday cake on his birthday. Baron thought that was happiness.
Baron had never felt that. He stubbornly thought that he did not need it.
When Hazel woke up, Baron wasn’t beside her. She didn’t know where he had gone.
She was a little stunned and slowly recalled what had happened before.
Baron asked her again and again, but Hazel still did not hesitate. Would he think that she faked it in the past and was not a decent woman…
Hazel was sad for a moment. She turned on her phone. It turned out that it was dusk, and she had been unconscious.
There was no movement in the hotel room, and it seemed that Baron had left.
Hazel put on a self-mocking smile. Well, she was dependent on him. Since it had happened, she had to let it go and not bother herself.
She tried to handle the pain and had to limp. She leaned against the wall and took great pains to walk to the bathroom.
Hazel opened the shower head, and cold water poured down. She raised her head to refresh herself.
Bruises were all over her fair skin. It looked shocking and proved that what happened last night was not a dream.
At that moment, Baron was not there. Hazel felt disappointed and then a little lucky. After all, they had sex, and she offered to do it. She still did not know how to face him.
“Hazel, are you there?”
There was a knock on the door. Edie called her, but she didn’t answer. Edie had no choice but to come to her.
“Yes. Wait a minute.”
Hazel grabbed the towel in a panic and wiped the water on her body. She wanted to open the door in the towel. But she looked down at the bruises and then put on the skirt to hide them.
At the door, Edie held two boxes and yawned. “I had a party with Leonel last night and didn’t sleep until the morning.
“You haven’t had dinner, right? I know you’re a newcomer, so I brought pizza.”
Edie walked in and sat on the sofa.
She followed Leonel yesterday. After dinner, there was a party. Edie danced with a group of unknown foreigners for an entire night.
“Thank you, Edie.”
Hazel was so hungry after doing it with Baron last night. Edie happened to bring a pizza that wasn’t greasy.
“Hazel, why did you get up until now?”
Edie was curious if Baron came last night. She approached Hazel and found some hickeys on her collarbone. Edie was experienced and immediately understood.
Edie found her out, and Hazel’s face turned very red. She did not know how to answer.
“Well, Baron should be a normal man.”
Edie said to herself. It turned out that Wendy spread rumors about Baron. However, Baron had never been with a woman. Edie often thought that he disliked women.
Hazel put down the pizza and wiped her mouth softly. Then she tried to say naturally, “It was the first time.”
“You don’t have to explain. I want to know how you feel.”
Edie blinked and stared at Hazel curiously. Edie grew up with Baron and knew him quite well. Hazel must mean a lot to Baron since he treated her like that. Perhaps even he did not know.
Hazel blushed and stammered. She had never talked about men with her friend, so she didn’t know how to answer.
“Come on. Tell me. I’m curious!”
Edie pressed on Hazel, waiting for the answers.
Edie wanted to know if Baron did it hard and if he cared about Hazel’s feelings.
Hazel was dumbfounded. She did not expect Edie to be so direct.
Baron surely did it very hard. In Hazel’s eyes, his strength was absolutely above average that night. Well, she did not know about other men, but just guessed.
“It seems that your answer is yes.”
Hazel’s expression said it all. Edie covered her mouth and laughed out loud.
If Wendy, that crazy woman, knew that her years of meticulous planning failed because of Hazel, she would definitely black out from anger. Maybe Wendy would directly die. If so, Hazel would do a good thing.

In the evening, it was lively by the sea. Some people were playing beach volleyball, and some were walking. Hazel did not want to stay alone in the hotel. She was afraid that she would be paranoid. So she walked with Edie to the sea.
The night wind was cool and mixed with the salty smell of the sea. In the distance was flickering with light. The sea breeze blew Hazel’s hair. She smiled and sat on the beach in a daze.
Edie was active. She formed a team with a group of foreigners and laughed loudly as she played beach volleyball.
Hazel was very envious. Perhaps, only people from rich families could enjoy a free life without worrying about money.
“Baby, what a pity. It seems that Baron neglected my warning.”
Luke appeared in front of Hazel with a gloomy look. He thought Baron finally ruined Hazel.
“Why is it you again?”
At the sight of Luke, Hazel stood up excitedly. She did not expect Luke to be so bold and appear again.
“Why can’t I be the one?”
Luke looked into the distance. He was sad and seemed to miss something. Given what Baron did to Hazel, Luke thought it was time for him to get to Baron.
“Do you really think it’s him? Don’t be silly.”
Luke’s sneer hurt Hazel. “You’re just his plaything. Do you really think you’re Mrs. Floyd? When you return home, you might hear the news of Baron and Wendy’s engagement.”
“What do you mean? Can you make it clear?”
Hazel was flustered for a moment. Why should she believe the words of the members of the Plum Blossom Organization, especially the weirdo?
