Chapter 36

Book:The Vampire World Published:2024-5-1

Gabriella Monet POV
“You had a dream about killing me?” I couldn’t believe what I heard from Slade. “Is that’s why you were ignoring me?” I questioned him.
Slade nodded in response. “What?” I facepalmed myself. “How could you have ignored me because of that?”
“Because I love you and I don’t want to hurt you,” Slade confessed.
After the incident at the Bar, Slade took me back to the castle. And when we arrived in his room, he hugged me. “I am sorry for ignoring you. I had my reasons.” And then he explained everything to me which bought us to the discussion.
“But you can’t hurt me, can you? It’s just a dream right?”
Slade heaved a sigh and placed me on his lap. He wrapped his hand around my waist and sniffed my neck. “Your blood smells good.” He commented.
“Slade,  I am…” He shut me up with a kiss. “Slade,” I moaned.
“Stop talking and enjoy the moment Gabby,” his lips moved in rhythm with mine and it’s was blissful. He bites on my lips and I also did the same. When we realized what we did, we burst into laughter.
“That’s was amazing!” Slade smiled at him. I smiled back and circled my legs around his waist and leaned to kiss his lips again.
“I love you,” I confessed.
“I love you too Gabriella Monet.” He responded and returned the kiss. The kiss got intense as I felt Slade’s hand all over my body. He lifted me up and gently lay me on the bed. “I don’t regret knowing you, Gabriella.” He confessed bringing a smile to my face.
“I love you too Slade”
He leaned in to kiss me again and we made love until we were both out of breathe.
~~~~~~~~~
It’s was dark. Too dark that I Couldn’t see anything at all. “Where I’m I?” My voice echoed as I shouted aloud.
“You are in hell!” I heard malicious laughter beside me but since the room was dark, I couldn’t figure out who it was. “I warned you didn’t I?”
“Who the hell are you? Show your face!” I shouted.
I had no idea where I was because the last thing I remembered was sleeping next to Slade. I don’t remember going to any dark room except if I was kidnapped.
“You never listen do you, Gabriella?” I heard clapping and bright lighting appeared. The light was too bright and I had to close my eyes to adjust to the lightning. “You never listen!” The voice echoed.
“Who are you?” I shouted.
A woman with silver hair appeared in front of me. She wore a white dress and was white like a ghost. Her silver hair was so long that it reached the ground. “I am the beginning.”
Beginning? What the hell does that even mean?
“I have no idea whom you are so kindly take me out of here,” I shouted. “What I’m I even doing here?”
“You are here because I need to show you something.”
“Yes, Cara needs you to understand something.” Another woman appeared but I recognized her anywhere. It’s was Bianca and her hair had changed color. It’s was ginger red. “You need to see the future.”
“What are you doing here?” I pointed from the silver-haired woman to Bianca. “How did I get here?” I demanded.
“You are here because it’s a vision or do they call it to dream now?” Bianca answered and turned to face the silver-haired woman to see if she was correct. The woman shrugged and walked Closer to me.
She placed her hand on my chest and closed her eyes. “What are you doing?”
“Shush!” Bianca shushed me and pointed to the woman.
A harsh wind suddenly started blowing and causing a tsunami that lifted us from the ground. I yelled for help but the other two seems to be fine with it. I closed my eyes as I couldn’t help but imagine the worst.
What if I die now in my sleep? Those were my thoughts as the tsunami carried us to a place I was unfamiliar with. It’s was a desert.  The three of us landed on the ground. I panted with my hand on my chest and my other hand on my waist. “Wh…. at is wrong with you psychos,” I yelled when I found my voice. ‘How dare you try to kill me you fools.”
The silver-haired only laughed and pointed afar. “This is the future little human.”
‘Little human?’ I scoffed. “Do I seems so little to you? You woman!” I pointed an accusing finger at her. “You both are crazy.”
‘This is for your benefit.”Bianca said to me but I was too pissed to listen to her crazy words.
“What do you mean by the future?” I asked the crazy-haired woman. “How can the future look like this?”
“Because it’s the truth Little woman,” that’s the word again. How could she call me a little woman?
“Why the hell do you keep calling me that?” I glared at her.
“That’s not the case Gabby,” Bianca pointed to the sands. “The world would come to an end if you don’t save it.”
“How I’m I supposed to save a world that’s is already dead?” I retorted.
“It’s would all be over if you don’t listen to us.” The silver-haired woman added.
“This is the world of the vampires. Why should I save the world?”
“Because if you don’t, the world would end. It’s would end!!” They both said at once and in a blink of an eye, they disappeared into thin air.
“Hey!” I yelled. “Can you hear me? How I’m I supposed to save the world if you won’t tell me what the danger is?” I continued yelling. “Wha…. t?” The sky suddenly turned grey and the harsh wind blew on my skin. “What’s going on?” I covered my eyes with my hands trying to shield my eyes from the terrible wind. The wind blew me backward knocking me to the ground. When my head made contact with the ground, I felt the ringing of bells in my ears. My vision became hazy and through my vision, I saw someone coming towards me. The picture wasn’t clear but with every step the person took, I knew it’s was someone I knew.
“It’s would be fine Gabriella,” I heard the person say before I blacked out and that’s was when I woke up into reality.
“Gabriella!” Someone shook me vigorously. That’s voice. It’s was the calm voice I heard in my dream. “Gabby!”
My eyes fluttered opened and a worried Slade touched my forehead. “You are burning up.” He said.
“Slade,” I called. “We need to save the world. The world is in danger. Everyone is going to die Slade!” I tried to come out of his bed but I was held back by Slade.
“What are you doing?” Slade questioned.
“I saw it, Slade,” Tears spilled from my eyes. “I saw the world and how it’s ended.” I cried.
“Come here,” Slade pulled me into his arms. “It’s going to be fine Gabby,” He placed a kiss on my forehead. “You are going to be fine.”  He caressed my hair and held me in his arms.
“The blood moon is going to kill everyone including the Vampires. I heard a Rumor Slade about the king and queen.”
“It’s okay I already heard.”
“Really?”
“Yes. The King will take care of that. For now, close your eyes and dream about something good.” He gently laid my head on the bed. “Sleep,” he commanded with a soft tone.
Although his voice was addictive, I couldn’t help but think about my dream. What if the vision was correct? What if the Vision Slade had was true? The humans and the Vampires are all going to die. The world was going to become nothing.
A world with nothing but sands.
Luciana POV
“He confessed in front of me!” I slammed my hand for the umpteenth time on the table in our gathering tunnel. I was beyond pissed because of what I witnessed between Slade and Gabriella. “How dare he do that to me?” I yelled and kicked the table hitting Rhoda on her foot.
“Ouch,” She groaned out in pain.
That’s just got me more pissed.
I grabbed her by the throat and pinned her to a wall. “You want to complain. I told you to fucking spread a rumor but you did nothing. The slaves are all acting like everything is fine!!!” I threw her on the ground and went back to my seat.
“I apologize my lady but I did my best. ” Rhoda tried to defend herself but I found her excuse pointless.
“Calm down Luciana. We’ll find another way.” My father placed his hand on mine and rubbed it gently.
“We will,” I fixed my eyes on Aneka who had her hand on her stomach. “You have a job to do soon.”
“What is that?” Xavier was quick to ask. He looked from his wife to me and raised his ridiculous eyebrows at me.
“Do you have any problem with my suggestion Lord Xavier?” I questioned him.
“No, lady Luciana.”
“Very well then, ” I folded my arms together and stood up from the chair. “The Queen’s birthday comes in a few days and the blood moon is very close to us. We need a distraction for the king and Gabriella is the only way.”
“How do you mean?” Aneka questioned.
“Exactly what you’ve heard Lady Aneka. Like we’ve planned from the beginning. It’s time to fulfill your purpose.” I reminded her.
“Yes,” she cleared her throat. “Of course.” She smiled but I knew it’s was fake.
“Once I get Slade to hate Gabriella. He will all be mine,” I burst into laughter as I thought of what would happen in a few days to come. Everyone was going to be shocked once the plan worked and I was going to watch with my arms folded.
It’s was going to be a great show.
