Olivia
I felt comfortable. Too comfortable causing me unable to find the will to wake up. I never thought my mattress would be this soft and warm. I just didn’t want to wake up until I heard the familiar sound that I loved so much. “Rise and shine, baby girl.”
I groaned. “Five more minutes,” I murmured.
“You’re so cute, baby,” he said while giggling. God, I loved him. “But you need to wake up or you’ll be late for school.” School? I immediately opened my eyes and rose my body up, finding Blake who already in his black Ralph Lauren polo shirt sitting at the edge of the bed.
I scanned the room and I just realized. I was not in my bedroom! I was in Blake’s bedroom and it was morning already! “I’m late!” I screamed once I realized my situation.
“You will be,” he calmly said.
I turned to him. “Why you didn’t wake me up last night?”
“You were sleeping soundly and I couldn’t find the will to wake you up. You looked so serene and beautiful last night.” I rolled my eyes and jumped to the edge of the bed, trying to find my clothes. “Did you just roll your eyes on me?” he asked annoyingly. I didn’t care about my manners now. I would be late and all because of Blake.
“I need you to take me back to my house,” I said while wearing my clothes back. What would dad and Cindy said when they saw me came back home in the morning? I hoped they wouldn’t suspect anything.
“Calm down, I’ve told them already,” he said and I turned to him again.
“What did they say?”
“Well, they asked me to take care of you.” That was rather relieving and I finished wearing my clothes back. I grabbed my bag from the floor and pulled out my phone. I checked the time and it was still seven-thirty. I still had time to go back to my house to take a shower and changed my clothes. I put the phone back and turned to Blake.
“Can you give me a ride home?”
He wrinkled his eyebrows. “Why?”
I mimicked his eyebrows. “Well, I should take a shower and change my clothes. That’s why. I can’t go to school wearing the same clothes like yesterday.”
“You can and you are perfectly showered…with my scents.” I rolled my eyes again. He was so damn unbelievable. “Don’t do that to me, little girl.”
“What? What are you going to do?” I challenged and when I saw him smirking at me, it was already too late to regret my action. He suddenly picked me up and put me back down to his bed. “Hey! I’m going to be late!”
“Skip a day, babe.”
“I can’t.”
“Why you can’t?” I couldn’t answer. I never skipped schools before. I was scared if I skipped one, I couldn’t get the scholarship I wanted. Was that really what I wanted? But that didn’t matter now.
“I just can’t so get off.”
“If you want me to get off, push me away, Olivia. I dare you.” I narrowed my eyes to his challenge. I accepted it and tried to push him away by punching his chest but he didn’t budget. Not even a bit. It felt like I was punching a hard stone. He caught my hands, stopping me. “It’s useless, little girl.”
“Blake, don’t do this.”
“You can tell the school that you are sick. That’s the normal reason you can give to them. And Karen will understand why you’re not in school today. In fact, she will not question it. Or she probably unable to come to school as well because John is around.”
I groaned in disgust. “Don’t say anything like that about my friend.” He chuckled and placed a kiss on my lips, moving down to my neck. “Blake, please. Get off.”
“No.”
“You’re acting like a child now.”
“I don’t fucking care. I only want you.”
“You have me.”
“I want to have you forever.” God, this man is so fucking impossible!
“I’ll only be gone for seven hours.”
“That’s too long,” he pouted and that was unbearably cute but he had to get off.
“Blake, please,” I begged again and he finally pushed himself up, looking pissed and angry. I immediately got up once I had him off me.
“Fine.” He got off the bed and entered his closet. I used this chance to get out of bed before he managed to push me down again and when he returned, he brought a black T-shirt, his T-shirt. “Change your clothes with this, Olive.” He handed me a T-shirt.
“You’ll take me home, Blake.”
“No.”
“Then, at least let me use your bathroom.”
“No.” Okay, that’s it!
“What’s your problem?!”
“Nothing! If you want to go to school, you have to wear my clothes and not showering my scents away from your body.”
My jaw just dropped. He was being unreasonable, or better yet. “You are crazy. I’m dirty now.”
“What did you just fucking say?” he asked annoyingly. He was offended.
“I’m sticky with sweats and I need some hot shower to freshened up,” I reasoned.
“Not a chance in fucking hell. Let me tell you something, little girl. You have two choices; either wear my clothes and go to your beloved school or humor me by staying and told the school that you caught the flu and unable to go,” he said and smirked. “The choice is yours.” He walked away from me until he turned again when he reached the door. “Don’t bother trying all the bathrooms since they’re locked now.” And he walked out of his room.
Blake was terribly crazy, and beyond crazy. He was insane. He was trying to trap me. Was this how Blake would act when he loved a woman? Doing crazy things just to keep me? If I had to be honest with myself, I still wanted to stay with him but I still had school and he had to go to work. He didn’t think that far?
I grabbed my bag and pulled out my phone again and it was already seven forty-five. Blake just wasted my precious fifteen minutes arguing unreasonably with him. I still had time to go to school by wearing his clothes, minus the shower. “Damn it!” I groaned annoyingly as I took off my clothes and grabbed his and wore them. It was too big for me but I could tuck it inside my jeans. No one would notice the jeans so at least I had to change the upper one. And when I was in the middle tucking the shirt in, that was when I remembered something.
I still wore the same panties!
The bastard might have figured that out and that’s why he gave the choice to go to school. I still could go wearing his clothes, my jeans, and converse, but not with dirty underwear that I had worn for more than twelve hours. I put my hands on my face and groaned, “I fucking hate you, Blake.”
***
I walked down slowly where before I reached the bottom stairs, I peeked to see where Blake was and found him in the dining room with his laptop. The kind of sight I missed the most before and his eyes found me. I blinked and walked slowly to reach him. I saw him wearing that smirk on his face, satisfied with my choices. “You’re not going to school?” And he still dared himself to ask me that.
“I can’t go with dirty underwear.” I stopped in front of the counter.
“Obviously,” he chuckled and nodded his head in front of him. “I’ve made you breakfast,” he said and I lowered my head down, finding a single toast and warm milk in front of me. I sat on the chair and looked back at him.
“Aren’t you going to work?”
“I can work from home. I’ve told John about it.”
Oh? “And how did he take it?” I asked, grabbing the toast, and took a bite from it.
“He isn’t really happy about it that I’m not in the office and he will be alone to take care of his lovely intern,” he smirked.
“Can I ask you about her?”
“No. I hate a person who couldn’t work and she’s one of them, always making mistakes over another. Flirting with my male staff whenever she could,” he explained with disgust. He really hated her?
“Have she ever…flirt with you?” And he glanced towards me and stopped typing. I instantly regretted asking him where he looked like he was amused.
“Are you jealous, Olivia?”
“I’m just asking.”
He chuckled. “I know you are. Don’t worry about her. You know I only have my eyes on you. I wanted her gone since her first day but I think I’m going to be patient for a while and waited her last day which is in December,” he explained but I didn’t say anything. I knew whatever I was going to say, he would counter it back. I took another bite from my toast. “Have you informed the school?” I nodded my head and swallowed.
“What we’ll be doing since we skipped our…chores?”
“I didn’t miss my chore, young lady. And I’m working now.”
“So, what am I going to do?”
“I want you to stay and have you within my sight so I can see you whenever I wanted to. I can’t do this if I’m in the office.”
“You can see my picture.”
“Nothing beats the real one,” he easily said where I looked down at my toast and nervously grabbed another bite. Blake was good with his words and he used them effectively to silence me. And…I just remembered something and maybe by saying this to him, it might piss him even more.
“I have training with Javier today.” And as I was suspected. Blake stopped typing. His blue eyes were looking at me intensely and I would probably enjoy this.
He slightly leaned forward. “You wouldn’t dare.”
“I can’t only go to school but you never specifically telling me that I can’t go somewhere else besides school.”
“Don’t push me, Olivia.”
“Blake, you can’t limit my activities. I might be agreed to not go to school just for today but you can’t forbid me from doing something I like.”
“If you told me that you have training with Javier, I will tell you not to go and you’re doing that on purpose. You better canceled it or I will go to Javier and remove your membership there.”
Okay, now he was going to went out of line. “You can’t do that!”
“I will if you dare to press my buttons again.”
“Come on, Blake. Javier wouldn’t do anything. Our relationship is over already and I don’t want to lose another friend just because of you. I don’t want Javier to think that I was avoiding him after what happened yesterday. Please, Blake. Just let me go to the gym this afternoon. You can take me there and pick me up again if you’re worried. But at least let me go home and take a shower and change my clothes. You can’t force me to wear the same panties from yesterday. That’s…mean.” I was trying to be reasonable here. If he was worried, then he could take me and picked me up again. I could see Blake’s resolve was slowly disintegrating.
He exhaled. “I’ll take you home and to Javier’s club as well. But maybe John would be the one to pick you up because I have a sudden important meeting at five.”
I smiled. “Thank you, Blake.”
